The Clone Wars

The unit that would was slated to become the 32nd Military Police Platoon of the Grand Army of the Republic first saw service before their graduation. The clones were in their final days of their specialized training on Kamino when a Separatist fleet laid siege to the world on Y-24 D120 and revealed its location to the galaxy. All clones from cadets up to the instructors and the garrisoned units contributed to the defense of their home, including the 32nd. The production of clone units was slowed in the aftermath of the assault, and so the first deployment of the 32nd saw them redesignated as an infantry unit under the command of an Arkanian Jedi Master named Garne Mund. Along with the rest of Mund's forces, the 32nd participated in the attack on Dolomar, a brutal conquering of the Separatist's last world in the Core. They spent two months enforcing martial law on the planet Twith in that system before continuing with General Mund's forces to Irdonia and Ottega, where the Jedi recommended the unit for commendations. Mund's battlegroup received reinforcements after Ottega, and the 32nd was designated a military police unit once again and detached from General Mund. They remained on Ottega for the remainder of the war, enforcing Republic law in the coastal city of Green Hill, hunting Separatist sympathizers, and defending the citizens from pirates.

Imperial Service

After the war had officially concluded, the Grand Army of the Republic began transitioning into the Imperial Army. The 32nd was transferred to Binquaros to aid in uprooting Separatist holdouts and to bring the last formal capital of the Confederacy fully under Imperial control. The unit remained there for seven more years before it was disbanded in Year -16 and its job given to the emerging Imperial Intelligence Bureau.

The Reconstituted 32nd

In Year 21, the Ternion Corps began shifting from a veterans support group to a military outfit. With the assistance of Con Semper and Vir Calder and other researchers and investors, the Corps acquired state of the art cloning equipment and began producing clones with the intention of rebuilding the Grand Army of the Republic and restore the best values of the Republic they once served. Cloning, training, equipping, and housing this new army proved expensive, so the Corps began allowing sympathetic investors to sponsor their own units and receive an honorary commission within the new military force. Paul Luz agreed to raise and sponsor a regiment and inspired by Jedi General Mund's recently uncovered report, Luz sponsored the development of a security force to secure his laboratories, ships, and research facilities. He named the unit after the 32nd, and it became attached to the Corps 139th Division.
