The Breviin are a hardy people, and while not being physically strong, their intelligence measures at scales rivaling Cereans. They are hunters, but know how to keep themselves healthy. After a millennium of slowly dying out, the clan was thought to no longer exist.

History

Beroya Breviin

Breviin warriors, known as A'den be Breviin, are experienced hunters. Sporting armour so different from one another that each warrior can be identified. Each set of armour is specially crafted to fit the warrior's personality, and is presented to them by the Aliit'buir. As of recently allowing other species to join the clan, Breviin have no common physical traits. After they left mandalore, they lost all access to beskar the metal that is used to create the Mandalorian armour, instead most of them have different types of armour crafted form different types of metal. Common colours found in Breviin armours are gray and blue.

Kyr'tsad

The Death Watch was a political movement founded by the leader of Aliit Breviin, with the purpose of opposing Tyr DeMeer and establishing an independent and autonomous state. The Death Watch was dissolved in Year 13 since there were previously other Criminal and pirate groups with the same name. Nowadays, Breviin has no affiliation with The Death Watch or any other criminal group.

Breviin Background

Breviin is an ancient warrior clan that originally inhabited the tropical regions of Mandalore many years ago. The clan was founded by an ancient warrior known as Tracyn Max.

Over time, the Breviin clan became frustrated with their people being mistreated by the Mandalorian government. The clan members were typically forced to work for the elite upper class within the government. The government was corrupt, and they became more like self serving entrepreneurs than warriors. After many years of oppression Tracyn Max became fed up and eventually began a movement to liberate his people. He sought to restore Breviin to their ancient roots as warriors, and form an independent Mandalorian state for his clan. The Mand'alor of that time naturally did not approve of the movement and sought to exterminate this civil unrest. They eventually declared war on Breviin. Together with their Sith allies, the Mand'alor ordered the extermination of the clan. These actions would lead to the first Mandalorian Civil War.

During the war, Max realized it would not be an easy battle, but he and his clan remained devoted to their cause despite being outnumbered. The Talyc Akaan, or Bloody Battle, was one of the events that will forever be etched in the minds of every Breviin Mandalorian. Talyc refers to bloody or blood stained in Mando'a, and many people would meet their death during this time. This battle as some called it was the last battle of Tracyn Max and his struggle against the Mand'alor. Clearly outnumbered, Tracyn Max and his forces fought guerrilla style against the Mandalorian army and inflicted many casualties upon them despite being heavily outnumbered. Eventually Mandalore’s army was able to reach the last city of Breviin, where the forces of the Mand'alor slaughtered most of the inhabitants of the city. Not one Breviin warrior deserted their brothers during the battle. In a valiant last stand, a handful of Max’s remaining army drew a tight circle around their leader and fought until the last one was killed. Although Tracyn Max was struck down in that historic battle, tales of the event would be passed on for generations speaking of the bravery and honor that Max and his army exuded until the very end.

After the battle, only a handful of survivors managed to escape the planet. After a millennium of slowly dying out, Aliit Breviin was rumored to no longer exist and the stories of their bravery became the tales of folklore.

Many years later, Peter Max, a descendant of the revered Tracyn Max, decided to discover and unite what remaining Breviin descendants were left. After his ascension to Aliit'Buir he started a search for new ways to preserve the clan´s existence despite their being only a few members left living in secrecy.

Peter Max, with the help of his second in command and adopted son Xer`da Arman`de, were able to contact a Kaminoan who offered them their technology to clone from their own DNA and restore Breviin to its ancient glory.

Soon after their contact with the Kaminoan, Peter and Xer`da led an expedition to Mandalore to find the remaining members of his clan. Eventually they discovered a hidden village within the dense tropical regions of Mandalore, and Peter immediately noticed the distinct blue and grey armor of the Breviin clan. To Peter´s surprise they were all families and descendants of Breviin ancestors, and were separated from the rest of the Breviin communities after the first Mandalorian Civil War.

After the amazing discovery of this community the Aliit'Buir decided to continue with the cloning program and produce armies for their allies. Their mission is to expand their genetic code throughout the galaxy and restore Breviin to its ancient glory as one of the strongest Mandalorian clans of all time.

Peter Max would eventually found The Death Watch to oppose anyone who would prevent him from restoring Breviin. After learning about the existence of The Death Watch, Tyr DeMeer who claims the title of Mand'alor, declared war on the elite group. Peter Max informed DeMeer that Breviin was not going to give up its right to become an independent Mandalorian state.

The Death Watch was later dissolved because of a previous group’s association with criminals and pirates, but the original Breviin clan continues its fight against anyone who would threaten their freedom.

Peter Max and his clan have recently joined the Krath Dynasty as a Mandalorian super commando unit to fight against Tyr DeMeer and the Mandalore government. Their quest remains unchanged: to secure an independent state where the clan can become a self sufficient and powerful government.

Te Orjor be Breviin

The Talyc Akaan, or the Bloody Battle, is considered to be Breviin’s most devastating loss in the Akaan Mavir Breviin, or the War to Free Breviin. In the beginning of said battle, Tracyn Max led his army into the heart of the Mandalorian Army, inspiring his soldiers with this chant:

“We are the fear of governments such as this that lie in the name of truth. The fear of military, economic and legal environment that prevents human communication from people to people. We are the fear of the sovereignty of the pirates in the galaxy that maim the mood and prevent revealing emotions. We are the fear of the power of despots living in impersonal mechanisms. The fear of bureaucratic structures that discourage exploratory behavior. The fear of the great fortunes that were stolen from natural rights. The fear of the power centers that threaten total destruction. Of these men, “sane” and "practical" who want to make their mark in history and believe only in what they can force and control. We are the fear of who trains us to be polite when we are trampled by an institution. The fear of those who fear change, because their status depends on the routine and time of others. The fear of capricious technologies that require us to value them always adopting its basic assumptions. We are the oldest fear lurking in every corner of this galaxy and we are delighted, delighted, for we are Breviin!”

With this chant, Max’s army drove towards their fate. With this same attitude, modern members of the clan serve Lord Breviin as best they can. They serve him first, Lady Krath second, and the Clan third. They remember these words, and serve Lord Breviin faithfully.

Breviin's Accomplishments in the Derra Outbreak

Main article: Operation retribution

On Year 14 Day 1, a massive outbreak of a virus broke out in the Derra System, causing the inhabitants to become increasingly violent. The Breviin Militia was called to assist the Krath in not only quarantining the virus, but also to help rid the galaxy of a tyrannical mercenary group called First Sun. During this short war, the leaders of Breviin and some of its new recruits fought valiantly to accomplish these tasks. The most notable member of this operation is Aliit’buir Peter Max, who was able to make one hundred and fifty-one kills. Of these kills, more than half of them were First Sun officers trying to hold the planet Derra IV under their control. Other feats include the team efforts of Aliit’alor Xer`da Arman`de and Bajur’buir Morth Castul in a sweep through the planet’s capital, clearing out the enemy droids throughout it. Akaan’buir Roruk Drei and his sons were able to make several kills an approximate of a hundred and twenty three kills.

Breviiin Cloning Camps

Breviin Cloners have mastered the science of cloning, thanks to the Kaminoan technology. Breviin Clones genome is designed for accelerated growth, when their bodies reach biological adulthood the accelerated genome deactivates and as per the Genetic design they remain as adults for 50 years, after that they start aging at a normal rate. Breviin clones are treated as if they were Breviin´s children. While they all look the same, each clone is unique. They all have different personalities. Breviin Clones compose a large part of Breviin. Peter Max´s philosophy on clones is that they are the same as any other Breviin vode (brother).
