Alph Virphen was a male Alderaanian. Despite certain controversies revolving around his person, some consider him one of the most inspirational leaders of the Rebel Alliance and subsequently the New Republic.

Biography

Alph Virphen joined the Rebel Alliance shortly before the New Republic merger. In the RA, he served as a military officer in the Starfighter Command. Alph distinguished himself as a leader of Operation Forging Freedom, for which he was awarded a Military Commendation. When the NR merger was officially complete, Alph was appointed the NR's first Minister of Trade and Industry. He was instrumental in the smooth merger between the RA and SSC, and was one of the NR's most prominent members in it's early days. In addition to rising through the ranks in SFC, Virphen was appointed Deputy Minister of the Centre for Republic Intelligence by Nim Orlan. When Jax Dorvek retired as High Marshal, Alph was appointed Chief of Starfighter Command. Shortly after this promotion, the NR was thrown into turmoil as a result of Ingo R. Vailis and Adam A. Flynn's Black Sun sale proposal. Alph resigned from all positions in the midst of this and left the NR. He returned a few days later to execute Sith Lord Samus Augill, who was captured as a PoW, in a controversial move. Alph was since been rotting in prison.
