Heirs of Ziost

During his tenure with Heirs of Ziost, Ashla was first the primary prospector then later the primary recruiter for the organization. He would later turn the prospecting job over to Ku`Bakai Roche. As a recruiter he would often hire folks he met as freelancers first then move them into a role in Heirs of Ziost over time. He was a trusted lieutenant of Aidon Sadow. He left Heirs of Ziost to form his own ship-manufacturing company.

Death

Sometime in Year 10 Ashla Ta suffered a navigational mishap that brought his ship to close to a star. He was killed in the accident. Exactly what system and ship he was in is unknown at the time. He took time to transfer Indefatigable to Ku`Bakai Roche before his death. He also transferred numerous assets to Heirs of Ziost and presumably to other friends he had before his death.

Namesakes

  • There is a statue dedicated to Ashla Ta that stands in Ku Cirhd on Valrar.
  • Spirit of Ashla Ta: A BFF-1 Bulk Freighter in the service of Heirs of Ziost. It was a ship under construction at the time of his death and willed to Heirs of Ziost in the event of his death. It served there for almost a year before HoZ was dissolved following the Lost Ones killing of four Brothers. The ship was presumably renamed or sold at a later point but could still be owned by Aidon Sadow
  • Ta's Spirit: (Galactic Ship ID: ID# 168631) This is a YG-4210 Light Freighter used by Trax Sector Vehicles and later Aratech but owned by Ku`Bakai Roche. The ship also has the distinction of being where Cimoc Noitr committed suicide in late Year 12 or early Year 13.
