Athakam Medical Technologies, d.b.a Athakam MedTech is led by Rector Superior Dr. Crislyn Anessa Waryn.

History

Athakam MedTech was founded by Chancellor Gadon Trammer of Tion Mil/Sci Industries along with Gunn Starfall and Gwanunig Magor, shortly after the closure of the former Kalev Biological Engineering. After the founding of Athakam, Gadon quickly handed the organization over to the Tion Hegemony, officially making Athakam a nationalized subsidiary.

Not long after the construction of Athakam's headquarters on the planet Argai, the planet elected to hand over the control of the planet, and the system, to the administrators of Athakam. At this time, it was decided by the High Council of Tion, to place Gunn Starfall in the position of Commander (now Rector), leader of the organization. Starfall's long-time friend and colleague Gwanunig Magor was chosen as the Commander-Adjutant (now Vice-Rector), second-in-command of the medical company.

A few months after Starfall and Magor took over development of the company, Magor was appointed by the Tionese High Council to head-up the Hegemony's logistics division, Starfall appointed fellow Athakam colleague, Crislyn Anessa Waryn, as second-in-command upon the approval of the High Council.

Together, Starfall and Waryn focused on further developing the Argai system, securing control of the Argai's sister planet Aradian (Argai II) - formerly a production district under the protection of the Tion Hegemony. A year into Starfall's leadership, he was asked to return to Voss, headquarters of the Hegemony, to develop the Department of Technology. On year 12 day 180, Dr. Crislyn Anessa Waryn was appointed as Rector (given title Rector Superior) of Athakam MedTech.

About Us

From its rise to prominence and its fall from power, Athakam MedTech’s history is a galactic tale that few can rival. The rumors and controversy that seem to be continually surrounding Athakam also eventually led to its downfall. Once the premier supplier of medical goods to the galaxy and a research juggernaut second to none, after years of decline, Athakam became nothing more than an inter-system producer of medical products. Found in this condition, Athakam was bought out by the former Frost Inc. group. Now primarily located in the system of Argai, Athakam is striving to produce and export a large quantity of high quality medical products while also providing an unrivaled level of service. While in the past, Athakam relied on numerous galactic shippers and retailers and to deliver and sell its products, the new Athakam is expanding its medical empire through developing its own fleets of transports and opening new stores every week throughout the galaxy. Learning from its past, Athakam is no longer content on relying on the whims of groups that may abandon it as has been done in the past. Athakam is basing its future not on others, but on itself and its employees. With a new sense of direction and a new contingent of energetic young leaders, Athakam is once more on its path towards becoming the leading galactic medical superpower.
