Bakura-5 has no atmosphere, and therefore, no protection against impacting meteorites. Every rotation of the planet around the systems sun, brings it through a large meteorite swarm. Throughout the ages, countless impacts have been made on Bakura-5 surface, some of them penetrating the planets crust and creating large areas of volcanoes. Until now, all impacts have been fairly small, but it is only a matter of time before Bakura-5 gets destroyed by a big one.
