Day 260 of Year 22
We have picked up a Rebel transmission and have been able to decrypt it. It has revealed to us the location of a small world they have been using as a base of operations near Derra… Sakio Kentu has tasked us with invading the planet, so I have sent scouts to the area to get an Idea of their numbers… Day 265, our scouts scanned their ships and calculated a force of more than eight thousand rebels belonging to a coalition rebel group composed by; Rebel Alliance, Rogue Squadron, Sanctuary Prime, The Resistance, The Blue Star Dominion and Stryker Military Services. By M'dweshuu this may be the war that I have seen in my visions, there is a disturbance in the force I can feel!... The Shadow Horde is ready and they will follow their Warchief to death!
Day 274
Allies from Void Wolves, Crimson Dawn, and Dark Star Hellions have answered my call and have joined us. We have assembled a force composed of six thousand armed mercenaries and two thousand military droids… We are heavily outnumbered, but I trust the skills of our Defilers will play a key role. We are ready to begin the invasion…
Day 276
The day has finally come, and we have landed on the main city of planet Gazaan, at first, we encountered little resistance but as hours passed a massive Rebel force descended and attacked us… as the battle raged on, defiler led forces cut through rebel lines and this is when the carnage began. A total of 215 rebel soldiers and 11 rebel officers perished that day, several of them were Jedi Knights. We lost 36 mercenaries and one of our Defilers,”Boma” was injured, he fought gloriously that day, many rebels fell to his LightSaber.
Day 277
In a desperate move, the Rebel Alliance fleet launched an orbital bombardment that left the planet in ruins… Zann forces managed to evacuate when we detected the Mon Calamari Cruisers approaching the planet. Rebel forces accuse Zann of launching the bombardment, but we know the truth…It was them, they wanted us out of the city. This lasted little as we were able to retake the city soon after.
Day 279
We have held the main city of Gazaan for several days now, and the Sanctuary prime has joined the battle, they have deployed a massive T-Series battle droid Army which we have decimated, they have retreated after receiving massive losses…
Day 280
Rebel forces in an attempt to restrict access to orbital shields invaded the Shield Generator on the main city; several Jedies fell to my cortosis staff that day; Larry Turner, Jonas Kanuteau and Tidus Rose were among them; they barely survived but managed to escape. Hondo Walker challenged Cirxis Cronossk who was supporting rebel forces on the ground to a duel for the title of Scalelord and leader of the Trandoshan clan. Crixis declined the duel which is beyond my reasoning, I must not understand trandoshan culture but as a warrior, I consider Cronossk a coward.
Day 282
This will be a day to be remembered… I have been chasing Beastmaster Andrew Archer for days in search of a worthy fight and I finally found him… I lost six good warriors that day but finally his Rathar fell to my Cortosis staff, by M'dweshuu this was only the beginning. The Rebels have regrouped and launched a massive attack against multiple locations. The palace was secured by a small defiler force when Rebel Alliance troops led by Jedis stormed in… Our forces were caught off guard but under leadership of codename “The Wolf” Defilers and Dark Star Hellions repelled the attack leaving a total of one hundred and ninety-two dead rebel soldiers and six commanders dead inside, we lost only two soldiers. However, “The Wolf” who fought several waves of rebel troopers by himself was critically injured during the assault, fortunately our medics managed to stabilize him… We have named this day The Wolf Palace Battle in honor of our comrade… Other Defilers such as “Psycho”, “Dopey”, “Thoth” and “Kaos” fought well that day.
Day 283
Rebels have been drawn away from “The Wolf" Palace and are now resorting to guerrilla style attacks on our droid garrisons around the planet´s cities. During one of these attacks, Defiler forces led by “Sleaze” managed to cripple Vadik Edik, who was then taken hostage and used as bait to lure more Bluestar Dominion troopers into a trap. Soon after Bluestar Dominion forces deployed a large force and to our surprise, they used sentient shields to protect Vadik, many unarmed soldiers died that day. We were surprised at the ruthless tactics of this particular rebel group who seemed not to value their soldiers' lives… Their tactic not only was cold blooded but also ineffective as Saiko Kyota Navic evaded the Sentient shields and launched a Melee charge on them, crippling Noah Hatfield and Kaze Zhill during the charge. Eventually their unarmed soldiers managed to absorb enough shots for them to retreat. We had to resort to our sniper unit led by Defiler “Bantha” to avoid targeting the unarmed soldiers; they lost one hundred and fifty armed troops and eight unarmed soldiers that day. We did what we could.
Day 284
Void wolves have been holding “The Wolff Palace for days now, with little resistance from the Rebel Alliance. This was a day of betrayal and dishonor; the commander of Rebel forces Karl Hawkmoon challenged the leader of Alliit Beskad and commander of the Void Wolves ``Reaper” to a duel, the battle was glorious and both Defilers and Rebels watched how these two great warriors battled… Shame fell upon the Rogue Squadron when their commander Perris Hughes violated the duel launched a traitorous attack on Reaper and severely injured him, Defiler units quickly reacted and eliminated the troops led by Perris Huges, Karl suddenly fell unconscious as result from the poisoned blades of Reaper.
Day 286
We have controlled the planet for several days and have encountered little resistance from the rebel forces. We have eliminated more than one thousand and two hundred hostiles so far and lost less than two hundred… M'dweshuu favors the strong but rebels are not defeated yet. I was ambushed today by a group of elite and heavily armored troopers. I lost two of my best warriors today, but I was able to hold the ground. The Shadow Horde phalanx resisted gloriously until Defiler and Void Wolves forces arrived and repelled the attack. Rebels retreated when Defiler “Jackal” positioned his Mandalorian warriors around our snipers led by “Scorn” who shot the rebels from distance… A total of twelve elite rebel troopers and one rebel officer perished today. Void Wolf “Viking” was key in today´s battle, his poisonous axes disabled several troopers while my Morgukai warriors finished them off.
Day 287
This has been a quiet day, our Intel division led by “Zartan has detected a few rebel movements in space and atmosphere.I was challenged to a duel by Kaze Zhill today, by the will of M'dweshuu I accepted the duel… Kaze was afraid of fighting me by himself so he brought two of his champions to fight me as well, I agreed to the terms. The battle was brief, I killed his two bodyguards first and then Kaze fell to my cortosis staff. During the battle Noah Hatfield descended with several troops but was quickly shot at by Defilers who provided security during the duel.
Day 288
I found a Jedi Councilor Larry Turner engaging bandits in the mountain areas of Gazaan. I took the opportunity to launch an assault and managed to eliminate his entire squad of troopers. However, he managed to escape. Andrew Archer was flying nearby and he just watched his comrade almost getting killed and did nothing. This is the second time that I have seen rebels leaving their own behind, I wonder if they live by the ideals they profess… I have placed a war totem in honor to M'dweshuu and Larry Turner has spotted it, the Rebels want to remove my totem and I have used this to my advantage. I have placed five teams of snipers hiding in the mountains ready to shoot whenever rebels jump out of their ships. Soon after both Larry and his padawan Rexan went for the war totem, my snipers engaged and eliminated their guarding troopers and severely injured the Jedis. This is no longer a war, It's a hunt!
Day 289
It has been a quiet day. Rebels attempted to ambush Defiler “Sleaze” but were unsuccessful at it; he lost 3 mercenaries but managed to hold his position while support arrived; they ran away as soon as we arrived to support him. “Rob” has been chasing rebels all over the place but they seem to be avoiding Defilers in the group… We think they are up to something, probably assigning their forces for a massive offensive soon. We will see… Jedi Knight Jonas Kanuteau boarded “The Wolf Palace” with a crew of armed troopers in an attempt to gain control of it, I responded with my Shadow Guard and defeated his troopers, then I engaged him with my Cortosis Staff and easily defeated him, his still with the Light Saber were no match for me.
Day 290
Defiler “Jackal” was ambushed while camping, he lost several of his guards and was severely injured. Void Wolves and Dark Star Hellion forces managed to secure him and safely transported him to a mobile hospital where he was stabilized.
Day 291
A rebel assault group ambushed Defiler “Professor” being heavily outnumbered they managed to corner him and injure.However Defilers response was quick and our armies managed to defeat the rebels, a total of 58 troopers and three Rebel officials perished. We managed to secure “Professor” and he was stabilized by our medics...Later Rebel forces ambushed another Defiler “Boma” who quickly got swarmed by hundreds of troopers and snipers. “Boma” fought gloriously and not only held his ground but killed several rebel troopers. I was close to his location so I managed to provide support and soon after Defilers “Sleaze” and “Scorn” joined the fight, “Bantha” joined a bit later and provided sniper support. The battle became a carnage, hundreds of rebel troopers died that day but the fight was just beginning… “Scorn” was swarmed by many waves of troopers and eventually fell injured but managed to survive. We were able to decimate the forces that were surrounding his position and our medics quickly stabilized him. This was the bloodiest day yet, 248 Rebels and six Rebel officers lost their lives. We had minimum casualties.
Day 293
Rebels are not organized and have been launching small attacks. Today Karl Hawkmoon attacked a Void Wolf while he was hunting and managed to injure him. However, It turned out costly for Karl; he was soon after attacked by Defilers who injured him and eliminated several of his trooper squads. That same day Jonas Kanuteau attempted to take over “The Wolf Palace” again with a few troopers, he must have thought the Force was on his side but he was soon defeated and all his troops killed. He managed to escape injured again.
Day 296
Rebel forces have launched a massive offensive, they have attacked our forces on different fronts on this planner, this is a planned and coordinated attack. The battles have lasted several hours, the Sanctuary Prime has returned and launched their droid armies at us. My Shadow Horde warriors and Defilers have taken some losses but we have prevailed. 810 rebel troopers and 77 Sanctuary droids have been destroyed. Josh Jericho from the Rebel Alliance is among the injured and they eventually retreat.”Rob”, “Kentu”, “Bantha” and “Sleaze” were among the Defilers that fought furiously today. This is again a great victory for us, but I have the feeling that this is just starting…
Day 297
We have been attacked on coordinated attacks planetwide, the cities and the surroundings have witnessed battles, many refugees have fled to the highlands while battles develop. We were heavily outnumbered, all rebels targetted my party and killed 12 of my best warriors, I was injured but managed to hold my ground, I resisted several of their attacks until “Ninny” jumped out and provided medical treatment to my wounds so I could continue fighting. Traitorous rebels have assaulted “Ninny” and injured her, I managed to jump back on my ship and regrouped. I retaliated, injuring several Rebel and Sanctuary prime officials such as Esu Kyoto, Kaze Zhill and Allaina Mussava. Reinforcements arrived led by “Gonzo”, “Psycho” and “Jackal” and were able to defeat rebel forces. “Ninny” and “Ares” fought gloriously today. Meanwhile defilers led by “Sleaze”, “Professor”, “Kaos” and Crimson Dawn's “Paradox” struggled against a Rebel Alliance offensive on the other side of the planet. However, they managed to prevail. Cities were also assaulted; “Reaper” and Void wolves defended the northern city successfully and on the southern city, “The Wolf” and “Scorn” held the “Wolf Palace” and repelled rebels. Today marked the end of the war. Rebels fought furiously but eventually retreated. we have seen them leaving the planet… We have defeated them!
