— Bork, to an Unknown Hutt Lord

Bork Shalas is a Force Sensitive Kajain'sa'Nikto warrior from Kintan. He is known for being the finder of the Living Sphere, a powerful Force-artifact.

Biography

Bork guarding a palace.

Bork is the son of a prominent Morgukai warrior, and was taken from his home-world of Kintan at a young age to be forced into slavery by a nearby Hutt Crime Lord. After being taken by the Lord, word came in that his family and rest of his village had been slaughtered because of a rebellion that started in wake of his kidnapping. He became the slave guard of a Hutt Lord on Tatooine, who soon noticed his exceptional fighting skills and trained him further as an assassin. Bork soon became infamous and well known for being a death enforcer of the Hutt crime lords. However, he could never forget how his family was slaughtered by the cartel. Soon afterwards, he rejected his status as a slave and began to seek revenge on his former masters. Fueled with hatred towards his masters, Bork rebelled against them and in a rampage killed the Hutt Lord who claimed to be his master.

Corona-class Frigate, 'M'dweshuu'

After the assassination of the Crime Lord, a bounty was placed on Bork's head as consequence of his actions against the Hutt. Bork had to escape and leave the planet using the local Starport, and it was not an easy escape considering bounty hunters and assassins were guarding the entrance of the Starport. To avoid them, Bork had to disguise using a robe he took from a bounty hunter he defeated some days after rebelling against the Hutts. Bork traveled to Malastare where he met with local merchants and managed to acquire basic equipment. Armed only with his modified BD-1 Cutter, he trained to improve his fighting skills, facing enormous creatures and bandit squads all by himself. After selling some creature trophies and rare equipment looted from defeated bandits, he left Malastare and embarked on a quest of power, his only wish to become stronger.

The Force

Hunting on Kinyen.

After finding out he was attuned to the Force, Bork embarked on a quest to find out more about this mysterious energy. He struggled to grow more connected with the Force but soon after training hard he was able to use it as a means to become stronger. During this time period, Bork bought a Corona-class Frigate. He knew he needed a crew for his recently acquired Corona, ‘M’dweshuu’, and hired on a group of Gran mercenaries to aid him in his hunting operations. He set course to Kinyen for another hunting expedition with his newly hired mercenaries.

The ship wreck that Bork found the Living Sphere in.

After recruiting the Gran mercenaries, his drop-ship suffered from mechanical issues and they had to land on a clearing, deep in the jungles of Kinyen. To his surprise, it was the site of ancient ship wreckage. He and his crew set out to explore the wreckage for anything of value. Inside the ruins, it was Bork that found a mysterious green glowing sphere. He felt that the sphere had a connection to the Force and that he was not there by accident. The Force guided him to that place for a reason, he decided to take it with him. He dedicated a room within his Corona to the orb, and to other Force artifacts that he has found. Now with the Sphere in his possession, Bork found that connecting to the Force was easier than ever, and it strengthened his connection. He soon became one of the most powerful Force-users in the Outer Rim.

The Living Sphere

Bork and the Living Sphere.

The mysterious sphere he found in Kinyen had a strong connection to the Force, Bork was committed to finding more about the mysterious energy inside it. After meditating and using the Force to manipulate the sphere, he was able to extract some of its energy. This energy granted him with visions of the past and of future events. Bork had constant visions and nightmares of an ancient demon, Malmourral the Demon of War. The demon often appeared in his visions to tell him that he would play a key role in a great war that would plague the galaxy.

Bork quickly became even more attuned with the Force and used the energy of the Living Sphere to boost his skills. Bork and his crew visited Kinyen and the ship wreckage again to find out more about the sphere. After analyzing the records and data files of the main computer, Bork's crew found out that the mysterious object was called “The Living Sphere” and it was an object created by an ancient cult known as the Frangawl Clan. The sphere was an artifact that stored the living essence of many sentient that were sacrificed by the ancient cult. The souls inside are responsible for the visions that Bork was having.

The Living Sphere

When visiting the capital city on Kinyen, he came across a corpse of a Trandoshan who had been murdered at the local cantina and left in a ditch nearby. He noticed that the sphere started glowing again, and decided to get the sphere closer to the corpse. The dead Trandoshan suddenly came back to life but little was left of his former self. He was a lost soul, undead, a slave that would follow orders without hesitation. Bork was then convinced that the Living Sphere was indeed a recipient of the living essence of many unfortunate victims of the Frangawl Clan. Bork understood that the energy within the sphere was limited and that it decreased on every use. He knew that eventually he would have to feed it again, he would have to steal the living essence of other beings in order to charge it.

Crimson Horde In Malastare

In recent years, Bork has been enlisting mercenaries from his homeworld of Kinyen, and also Malastare, in order to gather numbers for his army, the Crimson Horde. The horde is primarily comprised of Dugs and Gran. The Living Sphere was responsible for the vision of said army. The Demon of War reached out to Bork in the visions and has told him of the great war that lies in the future. Malmourral told Bork of the huge role that he will play in the coming war.

The Morgukai Conclave

Shadow Scroll

Bork eventually realized that his visions had little to do with the The Living Sphere; he knew that there was something else behind. Bork knew that he would find the answers he needed in his own past, after all, he was the son of Mob'dait'vork Zinn a Morgukai Warrior and hero of Kintan, it was not long before Bork would establish contact with a prominent Morgukai warrior who guided him and provided crucial information about the Morgukai ways. Bork then went on a quest to find out more about this mysterious cult and like his father; become a great Morgukai warrior.

On Y 20 after access to his home world was denied by the Eidola pirates, who currently hold control over Kintan, Bork decided to take the risk of traveling to Kintan through the local Starport once there he returned to the town where his family lived before it was attacked by pirates, an old man who rapidly acknowledged that Bork was the lost son of Mob'dait'vork Zinn due to their physical resemblance provided him with a mysterious scroll, what he called shadow scrolls which contained information about the ways of the Morgukai, Bork studied the scrolls and adopted the Morgukai ways and now understands that it was M'dweshuu an ancient god of the Nikto who was responsible for his visions, Bork embraced M'dweshuu will and decided to bring glory to the Morgukai, with the help of Local resistance members he managed to establish contact with a group of refugees, and with the help of a really skilled smuggler; 600 Niktos were rescued from Kintan despite the Eidolan blockade

Bork started training the refuges into becoming Morgukai warriors and soon after he met his apprentice, Bork and his apprentice would soon fund the Morgukai Conclave a Kajain'sa sect that worships M'dweshuu and seeks to restore the glory of the Morgukai order.

Jason Phanto Execution

Jason Phanto's execution

After tracking Jason Phanto a Krath intelligence officer who tried to take over Death Watch at one point in The White Thranta Company, Bork planned a trap for Jason by making him think he would be moving his flag ship to a planet for hunting, However, Bork Shalas hid inside a docked ship and as soon as his target boarded he jumped on him and defeated him easily. After a brief time spent in Heavy Cruiser Dotkhauue Tiam's dungeon, Phanto was sacrificed as an offering to the god M'dweshuu. "M'dweshuu please accept this offering of blood, may the infidels blood ease your wrath" - Mussothot Kekmerr M'dweshuu cultist and main shanman.
