Deliverance is a CR-90 Assassin-class Corvette with a deep and rich history. Pirates, mysteries, and even a reported ghost give this ship its beautiful stories.

Past of Deliverance

The ship, which is over one hundred years old, has a nearly unknown past. Corellian Engineering Corporation records show that it could possibly be Shining Hands, a ship that, almost 144 years ago on its maiden voyage, was reported missing with the crew onboard and was never to be found. The ship Shining Hands is basically folklore to most. Some even will go as far to say that the ship never even existed. The CEC records say otherwise but those that think it never was real say that the documents were fabricated. Those who think this don't know what motives would drive someone to make up a ship and write a report that is now located in CEC's database. After the ship was lost without a trace, numerous people went in search of the ship. A reward was reported to be offered to those who could offer information om Shining Hands or the crew's whereabouts. But, even with so many searching, it was never found and people gave up on it.

Discovery

Over one hundred years later, Lucas Isen was aboard another ship transporting valuable cargo when the ship's hyperdrive suffered a near fatal malfunction. The ship was pulled out of hyperspace with substantial damage somewhere in the Outer Rim. As the ship's life support systems started failing, Lucas noticed something on the scanner, a faint signal. It registered as a ship without a name. He managed to get his freighter into the ships docking bay before the life support systems failed. The ship he boarded was noticeably old and derelict. Lucas spent nearly half a year aboard the ship repairing key systems by stripping parts from his freighter. His R3 Series Astromech was able to temporarily repair the navcomp and interface into the ship's systems so it could be returned to working condition temporarily until he could fully repair it.

Haunting

The ship, which had been in the hands of vicious pirates for near 80 years, was said to be haunted by a ghost, or so Lucas says. The ghost, which is said to be a Zeltron female, was killed by pirates years ago. Her spirit was somehow tied to the ship after death, most likely to haunt her killers. The ghost is still here on the ship and can be seen sometimes floating around the main passage and various other rooms. The room directly off the docking bay is keep sealed by Lucas. No one is allowed into this room. Sometimes, faint screams and sounds of weeping can be heard coming from behind the door and from the bulkheads to this room. Lucas has even tried to have the ship exorcised. Several religious orders have been aboard the ship for that reason but none have ever prevailed in the attempts to remove the ghost from the ship. One attempt even lead to several members of a religious order there to rid the ship of the ghost fleeing the ship covered in bleeding wounds that appeared to be scratches.

Stories

The current owner, Lucas, is very tight lipped about this ship. The only times he ever tells tales about the ship is when he is caught drinking. How he knows these things, especially since the ships computers had been erased of all documents far before his acquisition of the ship, is a mystery. Although, he might say he knows all of these stories because of the ghost on the ship, still haunting it.
