Lady Dyvel Price was an Imperial admiral who served as the Minister of Protocol in the Galactic Empire during the incompetent reign of Emperor Suntzu circa Year 2.[1] According to historical records, Price was one of the key conspirators in former Emperor Hiram Drayson's Order of Darkness. Together, Drayson and Price successfully stole a large number of Imperial Star Destroyers from Suntzu's shipyards.[2] When the Order of Darkness dissolved, Dyvel joined the Black Sun organization. She later served as the Principal Administrator of Cloud City circa Year 3.[1]

Biography

Born on Coruscant, Dyvel Price enlisted in the Imperial Navy as a young woman. She performed exceptionally well at the Imperial Military Academy and was regarded by her peers as a talented starfighter pilot with a bright future ahead of her. Upon graduating from the academy, she was assigned to the Imperial Star Destroyer (ISD) Invincible. Due to her success as a TIE Interceptor pilot, she rose quickly through the ranks. She enjoyed an illustrious career that earned her the rank of Admiral and command of the Invincible. During this period, she was bestowed both "The Warlord Award" and the "Imperial Black Heart Award" for her exemplary service.

Leaving her naval role while retaining command of the Invincible, Dyvel was appointed Minister of Protocol. She assisted the Minister of Defense and oversaw such varied projects as the Imperial Jedi Training Program, as well as the ambassadorial office. At one stage, Dyvel served directly alongside future emperor Spytek.

Circa Year 2, Lady Dyvel and other Imperial officers became increasingly disillusioned with the Galactic Empire. Many officers believed the current emperor, Suntzu, was a weakling and they claimed he was the puppet of Vodo Bonias whose influence had irreparably weakened the Empire. In protest of Suntzu's incompetent reign, former Emperor Hiram Drayson formed "a purer iteration" of the Empire called the Order of Darkness. Shortly thereafter, Admiral Dyvel defected to the Order of Darkness with a large number of ships belonging to the Galactic Empire.[2]

Little is known of her movements after this period, although rumors indicated that she became associated with the Black Sun organization. The extent of her ties to both the Galactic Empire and Black Sun remained a subject of much speculation. Eventually, Dyvel re-emerged as the principal administrator of Cloud City.[1]
