Biography

Early Childhood

Born to a Caamasi, Terrin Ryder, and a Coruscanti woman named Mariah Lenor, Elegos was always different than the other kids. Whereas the other children on Caamas were always focusing on helping their own culture flourish and grow, Elegos seemed to see it as his responsibility to help people of every culture. It was this aspect of his personality that led Elegos' parents to take him to Coruscant, the center of the galaxy, where he would be able to view more species than he had ever seen before.
Unfortunately, disaster soon struck. After boarding a GR-75 Gallofree Medium Transport bound for Coruscant, a Devaronian approached Terrin and asked him for some money. Never one to ignore those in need, Terrin gave the Devaronian a few credits. The Devaronian, whose greed at this point had fully consumed him, then pulled a gun on Terrin and demanded all of his money. When Terrin resisted, the Devaronian shot him and ran. Terrin's death shattered Mariah's life and she was driven into a depression, where she wouldn't talk to anybody, including Elegos.
After ensuring that all of his family's wealth would be put into an account for the sole purpose of caring for his mother, Elegos struck out on his own, paying his way to Ottega by offering his services as a translator for the dignitaries in a negotiation taking place onboard a yacht headed to the system.
