A Fleet Admiral is a high ranking naval officer in a military force.
Notable Uses
In the Imperial Navy, a Fleet Admiral is the highest ranking officer in the Command Ranks portion in the Imperial chain of command. They are only superseded by Grand and Lord Admirals.
The Anzatan navy also contains the rank of Fleet Admiral. In the Anzatan naval chain of command, a Fleet Admiral is only subject to a Lord Admiral.
The Commonality command structure also employs the rank of Fleet Admiral. Unlike other navies, a Fleet Admiral in Commonality is the highest ranking naval officer.
