Biography
Early Years
Grisu was born during the waning years of the Galactic Republic. Not much is known of his early life. During his childhood he was found to be working for Khea Nkul, manager of the Jawa Traders, a droid/ship store in Mos Eisley. It has been told, she was his mother, but other rumors sound that she adopted him. Grisu, as his mother, is member of the Weekkata tribe, although they both lived outside of the clan territory in Mos Eisley.
By the age of nine, Grisu was strong, quick, an expert driver, and an expert at building things. He did not mind working for his mother as a mechanic, as he enjoyed building and repairing machinery and droids, and his room was filled with a workbench, tools, and various projects in different stages of completion. Grisu always had something to do at the store; with his mechanical aptitude, he was often called upon to fix the unfixable. Over the years, Grisu became familiar with the Mos Eisley locals, picked up alien languages, and would often familiarize himself with the controls of starships, by "practicing" with derelict cockpits found in the junk yard.
Joining the Triumvirate Coalition
Grisu joined the Triumvirate Coalition in order to honor his childhood friend, Akial. Having both grown up in Mos Eisley on Tatooine, they became the closest of friends until they went their separate ways at the age of 14. Akail was found to be force sensitive (Midi-Chlorian count of 8,000) and was sent to the Jedi Academy in Almas, becoming a Jedi Consular, whereas Grisu focused his attentions on trading and running the logistics of the Jawa Traders store in Mos Eisley.
At Akial’s funeral, upon seeing the masses of sentients turned out to bid farewell to Akial he realized that maybe Akial’s path had brought him a closer group of friends and family than Grisu could ever have wished for. With this in mind, Grisu applied to the Triumvirate Coalition right then and there to Akial’s mentor Master Rick Fias. Grisu had always shown an unhealthy obsession with logistical matters. It was only natural for him to apply to the Logistics Department upon joining the Triumvirate Coalition. After a relatively short time Grisu’s skills and natural aptitude to organizing and planning logistical matters was recognised and he was promoted to join the command chain of the department.
Logistics Department
When his Master Rick Fias was promoted to Consul of the Triumvirate Coalition during the ninth Triumvirate, he left the Logistics Department in Grisu's hands. Grisu was promoted to Tribune and was installed as Commanding Officer. Grisu quickly turned his attention to some of the problems that had been bothering the department for some time, including reorganizing the vast numbers of ships within the department. Furthermore he lead together with Sidroc Krogal, the leader of Triumvirate Mining Corporation, an incentive to combine the efforts of both departments and now the Logistics Department is also transporting minerals from the mines of the Triumvirate.
Coalition Affairs Department
Grisu also helps out in the Coalition Affairs Department, keeping morale up, but also covering the Coalitions Diplomatic relations. He can be found very easily in the community channel of the Coalition (#triumviratecoalition), gabbling about all sort of business.
Grisu's Flagship
Grisu currently is owner of the TLS Rainmaker, one of the famous Horizon Star Yacht's, build and owned by no more then Girongo the Hutt himself. He won the ship during one of his bets on pod race's in Tatooine. The interior of the ship is lavishly decorated with hardwood floors and stonework features. The Horizon featured in a popular self-titled holovid series in which Girongo the Hutt portrayed his exploits in a highly romanticized fashion. In one of the upper rooms, it is said that the Yacht bears a bar, stocked with the finest beverages known in the galaxy, including some of the rarest drinks.
Interests
Trading
As a Jawa, Grisu has a natural aptitude for trading and commercial ventures. Being an active trader and dealer in commodities like droids, pod racers and smaller ships. Being a Jawa, he has a spotless trading record and no record of any criminal activities.
Pod Racing
Grisu, grown up in the Outer Rim, has always had an interest in pod races. Tatooine, his home planet, been host of many of the most fearsome races in the galaxy. He began to build his own podracer from the pieces salvage from the junkyards, restoring a junked podracer cockpit and a pair of Radon-Ulzer 620C racing engines. He is known to be the only Jawa in the galaxy pod racing and participated several times in the Boonta Eve Classic as well as other races in the Outer Rim. His dream is to one day win the Boonta Eve Classic in his hometown Mos Eisley.
