Karalina Hess was a Togruta female and a blaster-for-hire for the Hutt Cartel before her death.
Biography
Karalina Hess was born on Sluis to a merchant family. They were poor and always working so Kara had to raise herself. She learned many things about ships, tools and all sorts of items early on. By age 6 she was able to fix many different robotics and ship parts. And started helping her parents with the trading. Kara started keeping some of the ship parts along the way but also sold some to be able to make money. As age 13 she had built almost half of a ship so far out of used parts and robotics equipment. At age 16 her ship had been complete and she decided to look for some kind of work and left Tatooine for a known smuggling port Nar Shaddaa.
Changing Careers
On her trip she met with a Kel Door guardian by the name of Kash Morlev. The two became very fond of each other and ended up becoming business partners. In year 10 she was tired of running her own missions, she and Kash brought their smuggling empire to the Hutt Cartel as a smuggler for Voragga the Hutt.
Voragga had the two building their organization in no time they were one of the most feared groups on Tatooine. The two had many run ins with smugglers and thieves but Kara was trained as an assassin and managed to collect many bounties over the years for both Voragga and Morlev.
Collecting millions for the criminal empire she eventually bought her own Capitol ship the Quasar Fire-class Bulk Cruiser Hissing Spirit.
Last Mission
Kara was charged by Morlev to find her former assassin in training Kali Cly and kill her after she failed to pay her debt to Morlev.
Kara had tracked Kali and her husband Valen Zoller to a small village outside of Mos Eisley. She watched as Kali fled on ship with her brother. But waited for Zoller to leave. She sent a hired Jawa brawler on to Zollers ship unaware from the pilot. While in the air the Jawa ended up aborting hyper killing both himself and Zoller by flying into a sun.
Kara knew that it was only a matter of time before Kali would return to find her dead husband and when she did Kara trapped Kalin Vos and Kali into a tavern owned by the Hutt Cartel. Kara entered and disarmed Kalin before shooting and killing Kali. Before she had a chance to kill Kalin, he fled with Kali's body.
Death
It took months but Vos and Cavrth trapped Kara on-board Kalin Vos's JM-5000 Vos's Pride and stabbed her numerous times with a knife and vibroblade. For satisfaction of the kill Vos used a knife and took a souvenir off of Hess's body to keep after losing his love Kali to her.
Kara has been missed by the Hutt Cartel, especially Morlev and her assistance and skills have yet to be replaced.
