Description

Spartan Destroid # 2 is a suit of Clone Blaze armour owned by Robotech industries. They purchased them from the back of a dark and dusty warehouse, where Bane Sendathu discovered them on a trip to buy some vehicles for Robotech Industries.

Known Original history

Spartan Destroid # 2 was originally named Blaze Armour Unit #742381 J and built just after the Clone Wars as one of the last units from the original batches of those ordered for the Grand Army of The Republic. It was used by a variety of different pilots during that period and was used in various actions most notably during what became known as the Savareen Incident.

A small group of mercenaries became stranded on an island in the middle of the Mandaric ocean, they had been sent to destroy a seemingly small Ryfill refinery as the Republic tried to stamp out the trade in Illicit narcotics in the system. The initial assault on the refinery had gone well until the drug manufactureers initiated the small force of battledroids they had secreted below the refinery. The republic controlled Mercs were forced to fall back and take up a holding action at their exfil point. The battledroids were on the verge of defeating the republic sponsored Mercenaries before a small force of Republic troops, clad in Blaze armour arrived to help extract the Mercenaries. Eventually sold off by the Galactic Empire, they were used by Private Military Contractors and smugglers who favoured the sort of protection this sort of larger armour/vehicle, can provide.

After the units purchase by Robotech Industries they were used to great effect by the companies employees, most notably during the Hosnian conflict, where it was used to great effect protecting it’s wearer from hostile Imperial fire.
