Tamra is a planet in the Tolonda sector of the Outer Rim, controlled by the Infinite Empire and governed by Emperor Uther Von Kaldreon.
Description
Tamra is much smaller and for most of its orbit is some distance from its sister planet Tamra II. The planet terrain is mostly arid desert, its fresh water stores are locked into the expansive glacier fields. The largest body of water on the planet, named the Sea of Durcell by early cartographers, is saline and completely land-locked. A network of over a hundred desalination plants produce the majority of drinkable water for the population.
A mysterious, unnamed religious cult inhabits the swampland toward the southern pole of Tamra. Foreign intrusions into their dank wilderness tend to result in the gruesome deaths and cannibalization of any visitors.
