Tazam Azam, also known as Taz, is a male Human. Circa Year 4 Day 273, he played a supporting role in Operation Shadowstone in which he flew a Y-Wing while Falleen forces stormed the ISD Shadowstone. Later, he became a pilot in the The Wraiths Starfighter Command. For many years, he had a close friendship with Avalon Larkin. Azam is an average-looking Human with brown skin, brown eyes, and black hair. As a starfighter-pilot who is often stuck in a cockpit and who seldom exercises, he has a gangly physique.

Biography

Tazam Azam was born on Coruscant and matured under the watchful care of his two doting parents, as well as his elderly grandparents, in an upper-middle class family. His leonine father was the prestigious director of an engineering corporation; his mother a doctor. His grandparents were purportedly ex-smugglers who had once trafficked in Twi'leki slaves. This imbued in him the spirit of flight and space.

When he was sixteen, Azam accompanied his decrepit grandparents on a walking tour of an Imperial park. He briefly separated with them in order to buy a hot nerf. Suddenly, a squad of fearsome stormtroopers appeared in the park and detained his grandparents for crimes which they had assumed were long forgotten. The stormtroopers whisked them away and the young Azam never saw them again. He was later informed they had been sentenced to a remote penal colony in the Outer Rim Territories. Taz's blood boiled, but he knew he couldn't do anything about their fate.

At twenty-one, Azam clandestinely enlisted in the Rebellion in order to battle the cruel injustices of Galactic Empire. Unfortunately, Azam disliked the daily regimentation of the rebel army and he disappeared from sight for a couple years. Then a fateful encounter happened. While in a dingy cantina on Corellia, he heard of other adventurers like himself that fought solely for Imperial credits. These adventurers were known as The Wraiths, a cutthroat outfit of sentient beings from around the galaxy which gave him an outlet for his anger in a sane fashion. Luckily, Azam is not a Jedi Knight because his anger would be lured to the Dark Side. Now happily with The Wraiths, he is a fighter pilot, doing what fighter pilots do best: Drinking during their off-hours.
