Who would have thought that a pirate could become so powerful? Grace, charm, strength and wit are just the baseline of this woman's skill. It is a credit to her achievements, and a testament to her performance as leader of Eidola.

==At the End of Her Days==

Despite Djo's fame as "one of the most powerful women of the galaxy" and her countless legendary tales accompanied by the claim that she "controls more than the Rebel Alliance, frequently shames the Imperial Remnant, trades more than the Trade Federation, captures more undesirables than any bounty hunting group, and kills more enemies than all other groups combined," she did not spend her final days happy.

Many didn't know that at the height of her power, Djo entered into a serious state of depression; so many unfulfilled wishes and dreams she felt she couldn't accomplish. She gave in to drink and begun thinking of suicide to put an end to her depression, but if she went, Eidola had to go as well, or so Djo thought. In what others might call crazy, she tried convincing as many of Eidola's high ranking pirates as she could to commit mass suicide with her. Many, seduced by her incredible power over people and encouraged by the emptiness they felt in their lives, followed her, but most decided to stay and keep the Legend that Eidola was going. Djo, however, was not happy that the legend might be kept going without her, so she decided to leave Eidola without any territory at all after she left. Against what her men wanted, she visited the puppet leaders in Eidola's controlled planets and offered to free them of any duties to her pirate organization, leaving them to rule on their own and as they wished. Eidola was, however, not the only ones benefiting from controlling these planets, the "puppet leaders" were profiting greatly from being "protectorates" of the behemoth pirate group, and, to her dismay and the other Eidola members fortune, had no wish to end this deal. It is unclear was else happened, but Djo was not happy.

Finally, at around day 200 of year 12 in the galactic standard calendar, Djo left everything in Eidola to [[Squall Chitose|Warlord Squall Chitose]] and she and the men she had convinced to mass suicide took Eidola's most powerful and rare warships, and headed to destroy them in The Maw, the black hole filled space in the unknown regions, along with them inside and full crews operating the ships. If she couldn't make Eidola fade away into history after she was gone, she would at least destroy this legendary ships that had done so much to help the rise of Eidola. In day 207 the suicide fleet reached he maw and plotted a course straight for the nearest black hole, to the shock of its crews who had no idea what was going on, but they trusted their leaders. Hours before her death, Djo hacked the galactic news system for one last time to inform the galaxy of the symbolic figure's "heroic" descension into the maw for mass suicide along with many other "Eidola veterans," and announced the renaming of Eidola to "Those Left Behind," suggesting, to some, that the real Eidola was no more. This sent the holonet and other mediums of communication into wild speculations, but Squall Chitose and the rest of the new Eidola high command were quick to say that all these "Eidola veterans" were nothing but "inactive," washed up old members who hadn't done much for a while, and that he, although not as skilled in the arts of piracy as their respected Pirate Queen, would keep leading Eidola and keep making it the most powerful criminal group in the galaxy.

The reception of the news in the suicide fleet, however, was different. The crews went into wild disarray and fear once they learned they were heading to their deaths. It is reported by the survivors that mutinies begun throughout the ships, the crews had not signed up for this kind of vain death and were set on turning the ships around. The officers in all ships struggled to keep the rioters at bay and out of the bridge, but most were finally overcome and all capital ships in the fleet were taken over by their crews, who battled against the immense gravitational pull of the black hole to turn the ships around before reaching the death bringing event horizon. The crews, although suffering many casualties, were able to save themselves and the ships, however, all ships but one suffered serious damage to their communication and navigational instruments, and were lost in space for nearly 4 months, after which they were rescued by the Eidolan brethren. It is unclear how most of those veterans who purposely went to commit suicide in the Maw actually died, whether they were swallowed by the black of space or killed by their crews while they tried to take the ships over. Some actually got cold feet just before the moment of their death, such as Utono Brutza, who was seen later after the incident. It is unknown whether he helped in the riots that turned the ships around, escaped in an escape pod or another ship before reaching the black hole, or whether he was just lucky. It is reported, however, Djo died while piloting her highly modified and powerful YV-666 herself when the whole front viewport was ripped off and she was pulled into the the maw of the black monster, as she wished to die.

Rise to Power and Reign as the Pirate Queen

Teniel Djo was the name first heard in Year 5, Day 216, when she began her war with the Galactic Empire. In the Day 356 she looted the Xucphra Corporation. By Year 8, she was already called the Pirate Queen.

Teniel Djo was considered to be one of the most influential people in the entire galaxy. She was strict yet graceful, aggressive yet tactical. Some say if you saw her coming towards you that you are either very fortunate, or already dead. Her grasp seemed to be limitless, her fear was non-existent. Her past... Somewhat of a mystery. Rumors are rumors and should stay hidden in the dirt. Only she could truly tell us of her endeavors. Of her life.

Anzatian by birth, it is assumed that Teniel Djo lived for a very long time before her death. Being an Anzati, her looks were preserved in her prime and never hint at the years she walked with us. Though her birthplace and information of her childhood are shrouded in mystery. What is known is that her father was Keir Santage, one of the greatest thieves in the galaxy and once the leader of the Eidola Pirates. Her mother however still remains a mystery. It is well known that Anzati parents never name their children. So where she got her name is a mystery as well. Some believe that she was honored by some famous person, or perhaps she proclaimed herself a title one day. Others say that she was named for her mother. Such claims are unconfirmed though, and as such, should not be taken to heart.

An obvious enemy of the Galactic Empire, Djo striked blows at them on a consistent basis. They denied her power, but it is impossible to ignore the threat Eidola brought the Empire under her rule. She ran Eidola with an iron fist that found itself in the side of the Empire on more than just a few occasions. She was what many were too timid to do. She was the true fight against the Empire's oppression. Though she is rumored to have had ties to slavers, many speculate who is the better of two evils. Truth be told, politics will only ruin her image in the Galaxy. Despite the media bias, her legacy will live on forever as one of the most powerful women in the galaxy.

Who would have thought that a pirate could become so powerful? Grace, charm, strength and wit are just the baseline of this woman's skill. It is a credit to her achievements, and a testament to her performance as leader of Eidola.
