| − | Layla grew up on Tatooine in Bestine, the official capital. Her family was a wealthy one that owned a conglomerate of sorts of various repair and resell shops across Tatooine. She was provided with the best of education’s in the capital until it was discovered that she was very good at tinkering with things, like spare parts, robots, data pads, repair tools and the like. No one knows when she began tinkering with things but they did recognize her talent. At age sixteen Layla met your typical fly boy, Darian Frey. The attraction was almost instant as they spent the next six months getting close. Before they knew it, they had started to date. So while she was attending the last four years of school she developed a close bond with Frey, her skill with computers made her invaluable. She would spend part of her day at school and end her day at various locations around the city learning to repair various items for resale. Her family expected her to go off world and attend a prestigious University and eventually take over the family business.

| − | Layla though did not want to attend college and leave Frey behind, she wanted to stay with him. Despite being on and off again throughout their lives and caring deeply for one another. Her parents though wanted better for her than some poor orphan with not a single credit to his name. But Layla did not budge from her decision, and so her family gave her an ultimatum; either attend a University and get a degree to take over the buisness and remain a part of the family and thus be able access their wealth. Without ever seeing Frey again. Or head out on her own without a credit to her name and stay with the scoundrel. Layla chose to follow her heart.

| − | She began living with Frey to save on expenses the cost of living in the city was exorbitant. Layla was used to the finer things in life, she was not used to having to budget her money. But, then Frey popped the question and everything was seemingly going to get better. Despite the struggle everything was going great until the day of the wedding. While she waited for hours and even a few days. He didn't show up, she was left at the altar. That broke her naivety and she developed a smart mouth and became more flirtatious until the return of Frey a few months later.

| − | Layla was at first afraid of being caught but as more time went by and no body came to arrest her she began to experiment. Within the next couple of years she was slicing into many of the companies based on Tatooine, She had even managed to slice into the company owned by her parents and swiped a few credits without it ever being noticed, and other company’s including one company that happened to have a contract with Chimaera Consulting. Chimaera was brought in and after a prolonged search they were finally able to track Layla down. They were rather impressed by her skills, but were in talks of turning her in, when non other then Frey stepped up asking Wulf, the Chief of Chimaera to instead of turning her into the local authorities right, they bring her in. He even went so far as to volunteer to watch over her and help her learn. She debated her choice, but finally gave in. She chose to work for Chimaera.
