Zari was born on Corsucant and lived in an orphange during his early years of life - not knowing who his parents were. When he became a legal adult, he left the orphange and set out to see the stars, leaving his home world to join Ailon Nova Guard, his desire to learn the rich history of the people drew him into their military organization and tradition. Looking for a home that had eluded him since bire. Ailon during this period was a highly respectable government, at its peak. Its soldiers were strong and Zari learned how to handle a variety of weapons systems. Particularly, he became an excellent capitol pilot, constantly proving himself to be a cut above the reset drawing inspiration from the Imperial Star Destroyers he dreamed about in his youth.

He spent just under a year with Ailon before returning home and enlisting in the Empire. Zari wanted to join the Imperial fleet but was assigned to the Imperial army and trained in the military ways of an Imperial soldier.

His tenure lasted just over 6 months. One day after returning from a mission with the Imperial army, he discovered a cryptic book about his history and Zari set out to discover his past. He left the Empire to investigate, never to return home or to what he had at least known to be been his home.

During this period of restlessness he came across a mining faction called Nakesh Alliance Extractions. He soon became Vice President, growing sales. However he also used his position to embark upon excavations tracing back his lineage.

It was while mining a remote planet once called Dolstan he uncovered what the initials MB stood for, Malakai Brooks.

During his excavations on Dolstan, Malakai employed a team of archeologists hunting for a lost civilization. It was during this period they team came across a hidden modern compound situation in a group of caves.

Inside and buried under rubble, were the Scrolls of Jerriko, written by Yarbles. Yarbles was a Twi'lek who rose to prominance in the New Anzat Order, becoming Prime Minister. Prior to his political ascension, in his early years Yarbles actually ran an exploration firm called Fernandin Scouting Exploration. Yarbles during his adventure apparently had examined an ancient civilization and found their teachings.

One of the prime tenants of the book of Jerriko was sacrifice and reincarnation. While much of the text was lost, some of it had been deciphered in an accompanying book, the book of Malakai.

The book of Malakai, was written in ancient Anzati, a language few understood. While searching for a scholar, Zaris expedition was cut short while turmoil took over the Pimbrellan League, which governed Dolstan. The Mindabaal league took over and Zari was forced off Dolstan, seceretly taking with him his finds from the ruins.

Zari eventually joined the Corporate Alliance, using his history as a military officer to revamp their beleaguered armed forces.

During Zari tenure in the Corporate Alliance, he unearthed that the leader of the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) was a corrupt despot. This strained his relationship with the Aran family and a power struggle ensured. Out of loyalty to Elm Aran, Zari withdrew from his comission and left the Corporate Alliance. Zari was proud of his revamp of the armed forces which lead towards a droid oriented quick strike force.

Once Zari left, the CIS began to implode and the Corporate Alliance eventually left the CIS. Once again, Zari detractors were proven near sighted and wrong.

Zari discovered a new piece of evidence in his tracking down of his past. It turned out buried underneath factories in Kathol a hidden cache of data which once belonged to Senator Malakai Brooks. A link was beginning to form.

Zari flew to Kathol to verify the information and stayed, he soon rose to the rank of Chancellor of Kathol, cleaning the planet of its criminal element. It was here through the teachings of Krath Zari had thought he found his home.
