Several years prior to attaining his medical degree he was kidnapped by a strange man known only as "G" and flown to a secret research facility run by the now defunct "Citizen Block" organisation. It was here he was forced to torture and maim captive sentients in the name of science. Splicing cybernetic implants with all manner or sentient beings. Bunduk never understood how his experimenets helped to advance science in any way, but after he was eventually granted his freedom Bunduk resolved that he would never harm a living thing ever again.

From there, Bunduk Gund found it hard to adapt to a nomadic lifestyle. With no home and no family of which to speak he became a lost and tortured soul, unable to shed the guilt from the memories of his previous life. He attempted suicide three times. But his talents were recognised for what they were and he was given a job as a paramedic in the Anison sector.
