These slow ponderous walkers were originally designed by Veril Line Systems. When VLS went bankrupt they made an open patent to any Recycling Corporation that the design might live on in the galaxy providing the service needed.

Designed to operate on city planets like Coruscant the EVS can quickly demolish an existing structure to make room for newer facilities. Though designed for work on City Planets they are useful on any planet where there is a need to remove old facilities to replace with new facilities.

The walker uses two shovel like arms to feed into its mouth. The mouth has a conveyor belt that takes the materials to an internal molecular furnace where the material is broken down into its component parts whereupon it can be used for newer production.

Due to the slow ponderous nature of the vehicles it is well advised to make sure to have a ship capable of moving the walker from grid to grid to help facilitate major rehabilitation projects so as not to waste unnecessary time.

In Year 13 Aratech signed a contract to produce a number of EVS Construction Droids on license from Ankh Recycling Enterprises. These should start appearing on the market in early Year 14.
