border Spree Razzix is a Vratix, an insectoid, hermaphroditic species native to Thyferra. Although technically both genders, Spree identifies as a male purely out of convenience for others. He hatched and grew up in the Vratix hive Razzix, on the planet Thyferra; a world famous for its production and mass exportation of Bacta, a potent healing solution. Having grown up in a community devoted to farming the raw materials for Bacta, as well as its utilization in medicine, Spree quickly took to practicing medicine on his own. After years of practice, he was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine from his Hive. Shortly thereafter, he departed Thyferra for worlds unknown, eager to heal the galaxy. Currently he is the Director of Surgery and Leader of the medical company Xucphra.

His body is insectoid in appearance is composed of a greenish-grey thorax with three pairs of appendages branching out from it. The first pair are his "arms" which, due to an arguably fortuitous birth defect, sport hands with four digits (instead of the species' standard three digits per hand). The arms themselves have two joints which, when extended, permit the arm to stretch to about 1 meter long. The second pair are much larger and more muscled and reside lower on the thorax, they are his legs. When in their resting, bent position, they bring the good doctor to a towering height of approximately 2 meters. The strong legs assist him in jumping great distances when on the run. On the ends of each leg is a foot with three thick digits. The final two limbs are stick-like and do little more than hold his abdomen off the ground. They also have three digits. His head sits atop a long, slender neck and sports two shining grey compound eyes. Using his vocal folds, he is able to speak in both his native tongue (A click-tongue language called Vratix) and Galactic Basic. He sports two antennae which assist in hearing. They also seem to function like eyebrows, their movement often coinciding with how interested or perplexed he is by some occurrence. His entire body is covered in small, thin hairs which change color to express mood and contribute linguistically to his native tongue. At a resting 'neutral' state, his body is green-grey in color.

left Dark Skies Gearworks was a recycling company operating from Vorsia Companion in the Neshig Sector. The independent operation was brought to the galaxy on Year 13 Day 185 of the Combine Galactic Time with the simple intention of providing reliable services and keeping a small family orientated workplace. The relaxed environment and upmost integrity helped keep employees and family members at ease, while giving prospective and existing clients the comfort in knowing they were getting an honest quote and assessment for their needs, without the bureaucratic bias other company's might try to push.

With control of their destiny, and a 'who cares' stance towards the Galactic Civil War, Dark Skies Gearworks was a recycling company that got things done. Without the need to lie or cheat, all they wanted to do was take a job and blow things up, embracing the inner pyromaniac inside them all. The company officially closed on Year 14 Day 282, Forgemaster Delcroix was no longer able to lead it and had nobody available to take over. Its spiritual successor is Vorsia Gearworks company, nationalized by the Trade Federation.

left The New Imperial Order (NIO) was a key belligerent in the Third Imperial Civil War which lasted from Year 6 Day 318 to Year 10 Day 160. The movement coalesced when Imperial officers and enlisted personnel frustrated with the incompetent reign of Grand Moff Daelin Zerk broke away from the Galactic Empire and formed a rival government.

Led by Garen Karrade and Thomas Cherokee, the New Imperial Order was, in their opinion at least, the embodiment of the true Galactic Empire and the true Imperial Spirit it encompasses. Headquartered in the Kothlis system, they had the long term goal of returning the Imperial throne to competent leadership and establishing a new dynasty of the Imperial Order. After almost four years of conflict, a reconciliation was negotiated between Emperor Vodo Bonias' Galactic Empire and Thomas Cherokee's New Imperial Order. The two governments were merged on Year 10 Day 160. Two years thereafter, during the Fourth Imperial Civil War, Thomas Cherokee usurped Bonias' throne as emperor of the galaxy.

His career in public service began in the Imperial Navy, where he was conscripted into the Starfighter Corps of the Third Sector Fleet underneath Commander James Stratus. His career in the Empire, while meteoric, was cut short during the Second Imperial Civil War when Emperor Charon was dethroned. His subsequent travels throughout the galaxy have led to many questioning his true allegiances, as he has been seen on battlefields supporting nearly every side of the Galactic Civil War. In Y10, Eric would return to the Galactic Empire after the merger with the New Imperial Order, where he serves to this day, both as a high ranking government official, and as a member of the Sith Council.

In Y11, Eric Jackson became a victim of the Metamorphosis Plague. His subsequent transformation into a Class-C species halted his career advancement within the Empire, though he remains an advisor to Emperor Guinar Ndengin on Sith matters.

left Black Sun, originally known as the Black Sun Trading Company, is an infamous galactic industrial syndicate. Founded several centuries ago, the group achieved prominence with the rise of Princess Gabriella Storm. Over the years, Black Sun has approached itself in varied ways, including: a legitimate trading corporation, an independent paramilitary force, intelligence brokers, and a massive government authority. Historically, Black Sun has contended with the Galactic Empire, New Republic and other galactic powers as one of the most powerful forces in the galaxy.

Operating as a monolithic organization, Black Sun is centered around and supported by its legitimate companies: Gesenix Mining, Shobquix Yards, and DroMor Motors. Sharing a common organizational structure and code of conduct, the Black Sun syndicate is run by the Underlord who is advised by a Family Council, consisting of up to nine Vigos (Old Tionese for "nephew"). Beneath the Family Council sits the Consiglio, a lesser council of Consigliere who hold various positions within Black Sun. Central to Black Sun's endeavors is a strict protocol of conduct and behavior which defines the relationships and actions of its members. Though much of Black Sun's inter-workings and ideals are corporate secrets, the company statement provides some insight into their operations:

"It is a public secret that at the heart of the multi-billion credit trade organization, Black Sun, there is an empire of villainy, vice, and violence based around a Family which holds itself above any law but its own: Family, Honor, Profit. It is a vast financial enterprise whose presence can be felt on every planet, from the Core Worlds to the Outer Rim. Black Sun has existed for hundreds of years, seeping its illimitable tendrils deep into each of the galactic governments.

Infamous for having a hand in every known type of illicit activity, Black Sun’s intelligence networks flourish with information from all throughout the galaxy. The criminal syndicate boasts the most advanced technology from both sides of the Galactic War, supported by unique and powerful designs of its own. With thousands of fiercely loyal soldiers, Black Sun has solidified its position as a galactic superpower.

left Cheda Quche (born Year -10, Day 037) was a human male who served as the seventh Chief of State of the New Republic and the sixth Secretary-General of the Galactic Alliance. Quche began what would be a long career of service to the Republic as a pilot of the Starfighter Command before later branching out to assist in other disciplines. His glittering military career saw him rise to the flag rank of Flight Marshal and become one of the most decorated officers in Republic history. Among his many citations were the Chief of State’s medal, the Hydian Star of Excellence, the Perlemian Star of Freedom, the Rimma Star of Service and the Outstanding Excellence Award (three times).

Although he spent considerable time working as Registrar and Dean of Military Studies for the New Republic Academy, Quche was more often associated with his high-profile role on the Advisory Council, where he was the longest serving High Ambassador in the history of both the Republic and the Alliance. Quche served as both Deputy Chief of State of the New Republic and Secretary-General of the Galactic Alliance, before his election to the Office of Chief of State at the beginning of Year 14.

Cheda was an enthusiastic, loyal and optimistic being who earned the respect and friendship of those he worked with and held up to be a prime example of active leadership within the Republic. Despite this, his substantial service and achievements were ultimately tarnished by the confusion surrounding the tragedy of his early death and the forced shortness of his premiership. Conflicting reports place his death in Year 14 on days 56 and 60, when he is believed to have either committed suicide or been executed at the hands of the Galactic Empire respectively after participating in a disastrous operation for the New Republic Intelligence Service. These events are hotly debated by conspiracy theorists to this day, and for some his death marked the end of the Republic’s potential to live up to its name and ideals. (Full article...)

left It is unknown when, or if, Orphaea Imperium was 'born'. It is known that he was a subject of a project commenced during the early years of Emperor Drayson's reign to develop superior leaders for the Empire by the manipulation and splicing of genetic material taken from promising young leaders of the time, from which all members of the Imperium family hail. Unsubstantiated reports exist that Orphaea's formal designation during this time was Subject O-Beta. When the project was shut down during Emperor Spytek's reign, Orphaea, like the rest of the subjects of the project, had their memories of their time erased and false memories of families and normal childhood experienced implanted in their place. left The Battle of Beta was a major flashpoint in the ongoing Galactic Civil War in which Emperor Uebles' Galactic Empire grappled with King Kuraine's Falleen Federation for control of the Beta system. Prior to the battle, Kuraine had enticed Imperial Moff Vir Calder to defect to his Falleen kingdom and to abscond with the Imperial Star Destroyer Shadowstone. This theft provoked the Imperial High Command to mobilize their forces and to invade the Beta system with a colossal force commanded by Grand Admiral Black Lodge. Shortly before their invasion, the Empire was contacted by Prince Tholin Dur'aak, a Falleen noble, who offered to betray Kuraine. Thus, with Dur'aak's assistance, Kuraine and his consort were slain by Sith Lords — notably Adric Simms and Thraken Solo — while aboard the Shadowstone's bridge. With Kuraine assassinated, the Empire moved to secure the Beta system. Ultimately, Lord Admiral Bisz Aldaris of the Falleen Navy could not stem the tide of invading Imperial vessels and undertook a strategic withdrawal from the system. After the battle, the Empire systematically exterminated all life-forms on the planets Ul Yanin and Ulrike which resulted in casualties ranging from 103 million to 1.5 billion sentients. Overall, the demise of the Falleen monarch, the destruction of the Libra battle station, and the genocide of Falleen colonists made this event a defining moment in the early years of the galactic civil war. left The Imperial Union is an official alignment of great powers in the ongoing Second Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Alliance. The alignment began circa Year 7 Day 334 - 336 with a defensive military pact between the Galactic Empire and the Hapes Consortium, although its origins could be informally traced to a non-aggression pact signed on Year 4 Day 334 between Emperor Uebles and King James I. For much of its life, the Union consisted of the Galactic Empire, Hapes Consortium, Mandalore, Trade Federation, Tion Hegemony, and Aurodium Legion. However, circa Year 13, internal disagreements arose between various states regarding the further evolution of the alliance. While there was an aversion to disbanding the Imperial Union completely, some governments would not agree to sign a new charter without having unlimited access to the Empire's technology. Unable to come to a resolution amenable to all parties, the majority of the Union resigned from the charter on Year 13 Day 300. Weeks later, on Year 13 Day 326, the Imperial Union was reformed with an improved charter that addressed deficiencies in its previous iteration. The initial signatories were a tripartite bloc that consisted of the Galactic Empire, Black Sun, and the Tresario Star Kingdom. Year 14 Day 184 saw the Anzatan Commonwealth, formerly a neutral power in the galactic conflict, join the the Union, aptly demonstrating how much Anzatan-Imperial relations had improved since the reign of the von Ismays. The family purportedly originated from Coruscant in the distant past where an early patriarch obtained the peerage of Count. Despite Victor's grisly murder by Teniel Djo of the Eidola Pirates, the wealth and influence of the family nevertheless increased with the ascension of Victor's eldest son, Wilhelm von Ismay, as ruler of the New Anzat Order circa Year 9. Following Wilhelm's assassination by his consort Queen Keishi Miahr, several heirs of House Ismay denounced the latter monarch as a usurper and asserted their claim to be the rightful rulers of the Anzatan Commonwealth. left The Hapes Consortium is an absolute monarchy holding dominion over a relatively small sector of space known as the Hapes Cluster, situated in the Inner Rim. The Consortium maintained strict isolationism as a core principle for several millennia, shunning contact with outsiders since it was first founded by the female descendants of the Lorell Raiders. This allowed a distinct culture to develop, steeped in traditions that Hapans hold in high esteem even to this day. Following a bloody civil war that caused the near-collapse of their economy and revolutionized aspects of Hapan society, gradual contact with the galaxy outside their borders was re-established over the course of several decades. Having rebuilt its society, economy, military, and industrial capacity, the Consortium has become a somewhat reluctant, yet arguably significant, player in galactic politics. Led by King Alex Tylger, the government maintains a non-expansionist stance, seeking to balance tradition and cultural preservation with its new-found responsibilities as a major power in the galaxy. link=Cron Conflict The Cron Conflict, also known as the Cron Insurgency or the Cron Disorders, was an interstellar armed conflict that occurred in the Tion Cluster between the sovereign government of Typhon Corbin's Tion Hegemony and the insurgent movement, Cron Resurrection, led by a mysterious Duros revolutionary named Paul Cron. Circa Year 11, Cron sent a priority transmission to the High Council of the Tion Hegemony. He claimed descent from the iron-fisted Xim the Despot who once governed the Kingdom of Cron which encompassed a large swath of the galaxy. With this justification, Cron demanded the Tion Cluster be relinquished by its government and its territory ceded to his nascent movement known as the Cron Resurrection. His demands were ignored. Soonafter, Helena Gladio, a Falleen barterer and Tion citizen, allegedly conspired with Cron to orchestrate a surprise attack against the Tion Hegemony. (Full article...)

link=Battle of Kashyyyk The backdrop of the Battle of Kashyyyk was the Second Galactic Civil War, specifically the battle between the Rebel Alliance (which was at Year 8 Day 12 part of the New Republic), and the Galactic Empire. According to the Galactic News Service, Wookiees were repressed on Kashyyyk under the government of the Galactic Empire, which prevented the indigenous Wookiees to hunt, build and live their traditional cultural and indigenous existence. Although such abuses were reported, the Galactic Empire always maintained that they were treating the Wookiees fairly. However, it is widely accepted that there was a repression of the indigenous Wookiees on Kashyyyk before the Battle of Kashyyyk. Operation Forging Freedom was a military operation that was undertaken in Year 8 before the Day 94 by the military of the New Republic, Falleen Federation, Trade Federation and some elements of the Jedi against the defence forces of The 12 Colonies and the Galactic Empire. The battle was fought for the control and liberation of Kashyyyk from Imperial control. (Full article...)

Mid Year 9, Imperial Executor Arturus Goth was approached by Aay Zavos, a commander of Renegade Inc. Zavos claimed to represent a number of Renegade personnel who had grown weary of leader Roy Starkiller's supposed lack of communication or direction. Zavos proposed to Goth that he plant transmitters on Renegade planets and outposts then unknown to the Empire, revealing their location and thus their development to the Empire. Goth directed Moff Orphaea Imperium to coordinate this project. The preparatory stage lasted several months, during which Imperium and Zavos made detailed observations of Renegade locations and patrol routes. In order for any invasion to succeed, Navy forces would have to infiltrate the sector and the planets within without attracting attention from Renegade forces, requiring them to arrive at precise locations at specific times. left The Galactic Empire, also known as the New Order, is the successor of the Galactic Republic and arguably the legitimate government of the galaxy, currently concentrated around the Core regions and the Corporate Sector. It is recognised as one of the most militarily capable and economically dominant governments of the galaxy. It is an absolute non-hereditary monarchy, ruled by the Emperor with the support of his advisers. The Executor serves as second-in-command of the Empire and heir apparent of the Emperor, acting on behalf of the Emperor when the latter is absent or incapacitated. The Executor serves directly under the Emperor and is considered part of the Throne. The early history of the Galactic Empire, while relatively recent on a galactic scale, is largely undocumented. As the fortunes of individuals and groups have changed in the Empire, and Emperors themselves risen and fallen, historical documents have been altered, misplaced or outright destroyed. Much of what remains is lacking, and has been pieced together with what remnants, poorly sourced and often blatantly propagandic, remain from those years. (Full article...)

left The Hutt Council, also known as the Grand Hutt Council, was a trading conglomerate and an Imperial suzerainty that existed from Year 3 Day 81 to Year 5 Day 347. Its origins trace back to the decadent age of the Old Republic when the Hutts controlled a dangerous swath of the galaxy between the Mid Rim and the Outer Rim Territories. The Council controlled the region by overseeing the activities of the Hutt clanskajidics — and their business syndicates. Their capital was located in the Y'toub system and was called Nal Hutta. Following centuries of decline, the Council was reborn on Year 3 Day 81 by Angobba Desilijic Lucar. During the Second Imperial Civil War that ravaged the galaxy circa Year 3, the Hutt Council was a key ally of Emperor Charon's Galactic Empire and — under the auspices of Grand Admiral Black Lodge and Director Matrel Byden — the Council played a prominent role in Charon's campaign to exterminate Warlord Vodo Bonias' Dark Empire. In the eyes of Warlord Bonias, it was contemptible that a humanocentric regime such as Charon's Empire should publicly align itself with a criminal syndicate of Hutts.(Full article...)
