The Image on your holovid goes fuzzy, and then black for a few seconds. Suddenly the screen bursts into life to show the KDY logo, which is then replaced by the anchorman of the Galactic News.

Today, President Myn Donos of Kuat Drive Yards announced that the ship producing company would be joining the ever-growing Confederacy of Independent Systems. President Donos made it clear that Kuat Drive Yards was fully joining with the Confederacy in both economical and political drives.

The President has been quoted as saying, "I have seen the Confederacy grow and have considered the benefits of being a member. As I try to never do anything half-heartedly, Kuat Drive Yards will become focused on working together economically with the Confederacy and will join in the political policy of peace, neutrality, integrity and good old-fashioned moneymaking. I am really looking forward to the coming days."

Shortly after the statement made by President Donos, we caught up with Duceroy Dev Nul of the Trade Federation who made this statement on behalf of the Confederacy.

"It is with great pleasure that the Confederacy welcomes President Donos and Kuat Drive Yards as it's newest members. Their presence and business is a great addition to the Confederacy, and Kuat Drive Yards is going to be one of the factions that rises with us into an era of unprecedented economic growth and prosperity."

The joining of Kuat Drive Yards adds yet another company to the ever growing Confederacy of Independent Systems. The growth of this group seems unstoppable, with in less than a month having added both the Intergalactic Banking Clan and the Corporate Alliance together with respected and well-known public figures such as Horley Cyan and Midge Cellewan. Are we seeing the rise of the largest economic empire the galaxy has ever seen? Only time will tell, but we are sure that they are well on their way.

The image fades black once again and returns to the scheduled programming.
