Child of the stars

Mozinwrath's earliest memories never included having parents. Presumed to have been born on the GR-75 Transport "Union King", he had been adopted by a Chiss pilot by the name of Marcel Iredale. Despite the racial differences and misleading answers, Marcel became the only parental figure Mozinwrath had ever known. Marcel had gifted him the name Mosenrath, in rememberance of a lost friend. When Mozinwrath asked why he had no last name, Marcel replied "Last names only tell enemies which people are your kin. You're better off without one."

Assisting the middle aged Chiss with routine transport of various cargo, Mozinwrath learned many skills which he would use later. From basic piloting to meanial repairs, he had a thirst for knowledge. His studies eventually became more academic in nature, studying the schematics of outdated ship designs and propulsion systems. Mozinwrath had a natural affinity for analytical solutions, a trait that would take him where he is today.

Truth and Consequences

Many years had passed, and Mozinwrath began asserting more control over the operations. Transporting cargo had taken a toll on Marcel, who had become less active in the daily routines. That would change, however, on a seemingly harmless trip to Muunilinst. Marcel and Mozinwrath, who had disembarked the Union King to speak with a contact, were attacked right outside of the Muunilinst starport. After bartering their cargo for safety, Marcel and Mozinwrath boarded the freighter and left for a less hostile situation. Gravely injured, Marcel decided to tell Mozinwrath the truth.

Marcel Iredale, who was also known as Marcel Blackfrost, was a smuggler for the Blackfrost Clan. The Blackfrost Clan, based in the Undercity of Nal Hutta, was partially responsible for the death of his parents. A disowned Hutt, by the name of Blackfrost (who ordered every member of his clan to share the name) had ordered the attack on the Union King in order to capture the ship for his own use. Mozinwrath's parents (whose names were unknown to Marcel) had died in the attack, leaving the infant to fend for his own. Marcel, feeling guilty, had disobeyed his employer and took the Union King as his own, adopting Mozinwrath in the process.

Marcel died from his wounds several days after the attack. Making the long trip to Csilla to bury his mentor, Mozinwrath decided to adopt the last name Blackfrost, to respect fallen family and remind him of the persons responsible.

Death of a king

With the deteriorating condition of the Union King, maintaining repairs and basic functions became a difficult endeavor. Although most non-essential functions were taken offline or rerouted, Mozinwrath kept the archived data intact. Eventually, his months of searching had paid off- He learned the names of his parents.

Mit'ochee and Arhalya Uttenga were exporters of Mon Calamarian goods. Cargo manifests suggest they dealt heavily in titan kantrey scales, a luctrative and sought after material. How they obtained the scales is unknown, but may have explained why the Blackfrost Clan had wanted the ship.

Satisfied with the information he recovered, Mozinwrath made an important decision. With the Union King barely functional,he piloted the ship to Dac and straight into the Rechigor reef- a coral growth known to be devoid of larger life. As his former home sank into the depths of Mon Calamari, Mozinwrath swam toward civilization- hoping to find more answers about his past.

Flotsam

Having reached the shore of Eboda Landing, Mozinwrath quickly learned the hardships of his bretheren. Poverty and unemployment were rampant on Mon Calamari, and most residents blamed the governing body. Having placed a Mon Calamari in a position of authority, the government had hoped to sway more citizens toward it's ideals. Unfortunately, it only gave a face to the dictatorship, further fueling the rebellious nature of the native inhabitants.

Despite the global economic hardships, Mozinwrath was able to secure employment. Fixing vehicles and small ships was not a lucrative venture, but it was one of the few skills Mozinwrath had. Working in Giihour's Repair, he earned enough to keep him alive and sheltered.

Public records made no mention of his parents, and Mozinwrath began to suspect that something was not as it seemed.
