Description

Mysterious Asteroid 12248 is an asteroid currently located in the Anzat System’s asteroid belt, orbiting the system’s sun. It’s assumed that, much like many other asteroids in the system, this particular asteroid was formed from the left over dusts and materials in the system at the time of the Galaxy’s formation. The asteroid helps enclose the system, helping to protect the inner system. This makes crossing the system extremely difficult.

While a large amount of asteroids exist in the asteroid belt, it has only been recorded once that an asteroid has collided with another stellar body; this being the only moon in the system. It caused a catastrophic event, creating many environmental problems on Anzat for a short period of time, followed by an extended blackout on the planet.
