Came to this life as many of his kind do. In a small hut, kicking and screaming, not really needed or desired but rather as a result of bad luck.

Got by on his own, stealing, cheating, lending, begging. Whatever it took. Life on the street got him connections with other shady characters thus, life of a petty crime and less than 100% law-abiding activities, came natural to him.
