Biography

Description

Rachelle Grimblade is a female Cathar hybrid. She is rather short by Cathar standards, at approximately 1.6 meters tall. This combined with a rather slender build (53.52 kg) has in fact lent itself well to her stealthy nature. Her Eyes are an Emerald green color, and many have claimed to look into them is to wander in them forever. She often can be found wearing a solid black, "form fitting" outfit of a soft material.

  • Rachelle has displayed fluency in 3 different languages Catharese, Basic, and Twi'leki, though she seems able to understand more languages.
  • Rachelle has a 1 of a kind proto-type Cybernetic implant, which imparts her brain with vast medical knowledge.
  • Rachelle's Mother, Ivy Grimblade, is actually a Togorian/Zeltron Hybrid, this leaves Rachelle as 1/4 Zeltron, 1/4 Togorian, and 1/2 Cathar.

Known Biography

Born in 23 ABY, in a medium sized settlement, Rachelle was the daughter of one of the Galaxy's leading cybernetics surgeons, Dr. Otto Octus. Dr. Octus was approached one day by a slaver calling himself Vestaage, who offered Otto a weekend of pleasure with his most exotic slave in exchange for some cybernetic enhancement surgery. Otto accepted with the added stipulation that he get any cubs from the union. Vestaage agreed and the surgery was performed. The cub that resulted from the union was taken by Otto and raised to follow in his footsteps as a surgeon. This cub came to be known as Rachelle Octus. It seems her early life was spent as a test subject for an experimental Cybernetic implant, the details of which are not fully known as it's designer and creator has been deceased for some time with few to no records surviving.

Tragedy Strikes and a New Name

When Rachelle was about 10 years old, Vestaage's partner came to her home one day while she was away at school. Thinking that Otto was attempting to hide and help the now escaped slave, the slaver quickly ran Otto through with a vibroblade. With a scream of horror, Rachelle saw her father's death. Turning with a smile that will forever be burned into the cub's memory, the killer turned on the girl. Rachelle soon found herself backed into the corner of the wall behind her as the monster advanced. Rachelle reached into her pocket, drawing the only thing she could use to defend herself, a simple scalpel. Then a determination ignited in the cub's eyes, and with a ferocity neither would expect, she lunged forward. She used her knowledge of Medical treatment and anatomy to expertly sever this Mandalorian's major arteries, and her claws ripped through his throat. As he fell into a bloody carcass, she ran to her father's now lifeless body. She drew the blade and turned back to the man that had killed him. Hatred and agony rushing through her young body and behind her green eyes. Searching the man's belongings revealed he was looking for a slave that had killed her "master" and escaped. 'So, SHE is the reason this monster came here, the reason Father is dead. The reason for all of my pain, she will know my pain, and curse the day she caused this upon my father,' were the cub's only thoughts. This slave's name was Ivy Grimblade. She would use the name of her target to convince any of Ivy's allies to assist her in locating the bitch responsible for her father's death, and from that day forward, Rachelle took the Grimblade name, and set her sights on her prey.

The Hunt for Revenge

The next major event was 2 years after she started her hunt for Ivy. Ivy has always managed to elude her vengeance. Then came Krath, and the information that Ivy was only a few weeks away and headed for Gand..

--Intercepted Log recording-- ... Another failure, getting closer to target, she is only a few weeks ahead of me this time. The locals are not very forthcoming with the information I need, seems she has worked her charms here as well. No matter, I'm gaining on her, she will face my wrath soon. After interrogating one of her associates I've learned that she's headed for Gand.

Next Entry: I'll be arriving on Gand shortly, I am getting that same anxiety as always. Knowing Ivy, she will be right ahead of me and just slip away again. It's been 2 years since I started this hunt, and always she's just beyond my sights. How could a simple X-cepter stay ahead of me for so long? I arrived on Gand, the locals seem somewhat confused by my appearance and are not very forthcoming with information about my quarry either, though I suspect this is due more to culture, and communication gap than them protecting her. Scanner reads a somewhat small to medium sized settlement, that will be my next stop. She likes those types of places, big enough to blend in and find shelter, but small enough to be able to barter her skills to be of use. .. I'm close, I've found her ship sitting outside a tavern. Seems old habits die hard. This is it, I've decided to wait until she comes out and intercept her once she goes for her ship.

A Little Later, Fates Collide

Rachelle stumbled into the alley, her quarry having escaped yet again. The locals she asked for information afterwords had attacked her, seems they were protecting Ivy. This world was harsh for the girl, and her lack of local currency didn't help. Weak with exhaustion and hunger, she collapsed into the dusty dirt path that made the alley. Natascha Aranyos was calmly walking the streets of Gand when she saw a group of the native Gand run away from one of the many alleyways, she used her speed to reach the alley and said something into her comlink before looking down to see what they ran from Rachelle hearing a voice barely has the strength left to look at the Diathim who showed up after the Gand fled. She wondered if the fallen Gand would be seen and the Diathim attack her also. Rachelle fades from consciousness before her worries can be answered.. She simply hoped the Diathim would understand she only killed that Gand in self defense.. Nat spots a being who was almost certainly attacked by the Gand and slowly approaches and spots a Gand corpse, she calls for someone to remove the body, but lifts the still live body Nat places the body on the ship her brother allowed her to use and boards herself Nat flies to a little known cemetery before attempting to revive the woman Rachelle's eyes flutter open slowly as she starts to regain consciousness slowly Nat hovers above the ground after walking off the ship Rachelle sits up slowly as she becomes aware of her surroundings.. seems she has been moved far from the alley, and the Diathim she barely registered before now hovering above the ground. She is surprised to find she doesn't seem to be restrained in any way. Nat looks out at the graves not noting that the woman was awake and ventures to a grave newly formed Rachelle decides once she is steady enough on her feet again, to follow the Diathim and see where she is Rachelle is a little surprised to find herself and her rescuer in a graveyard.. but doesnt let this cause her resolve to falter. Nat looks around to find the woman off the ship,"This is the grave for the Gand corpse you made in that alley had i not seen his friends run you may have had a grave here" Rachelle lowers her head saddened by the events in the alley, and how things could have ended up.. Rachelle speaks in a soft and sad voice.. "Thank you for saving me, I didn't think I was going to make it that time." Nat responds "That was the end of his path, but yours will continue" Rachelle looks up to the Diathim, "Only because of you." Rachelle kneels down and bows her head, "My name is Rachelle, and I'm in your debt. I dont have much, but all that I have and all that I am is yours should you desire it." Nat: "I appreciate your kind words, why were they attacking you?" Rachelle: "I was searching for someone, an escaped slave by the name of Ivy who got my father killed. I've been tracking her for 2 years now, and followed her trail here to Gand. She escaped and as I asked the beings she was last seen with about her whereabouts, they attacked me. I can only assume they are trying to either kill me for reasons I dont yet know, or trying to protect her." Nat: "Ahh I see well that won't happen again" Rachelle appreciates the Diathim's words, but wonders how she could make such a promise.. Nat responds to Rachelle's thought "My brother was born Gand and still leads a tribe, it's fair to say we have influence here" Rachelle smiles at the explanation. "Ah, that sounds good to know." Nat responds "That it is, i get to help people a lot" Nat: "This path you are on helps nobody" Rachelle: "Then what path have I? I've lost everything and without my path, I have no purpose, no reason to go on living." Nat: "You have the path Ara set for you which your life has followed and will follow until you end up dead, I merely alerted you of this" Rachelle: "How can I find this path that was set for me, when the only path I see is the one I'm on?" Nat: "When you look beyond the end you hope to reach what do you see?" Rachelle thinks on this for a moment, then turns to the Angel and replies, "I see pain beyond my goal. My quest will not bring back what was stolen from me, and only misery remains." Rachelle falls to her knees as she releases her grief, and pain.. she lets go of her grudge and despair grips her tighter than a vice.. "Even now, I have no purpose, no reason to exist.. I'm unnecessary." Nat hovers back to her ship. She leaves the ramp down for Rachelle Nat asks "You staying here? Or coming on the ship?" Rachelle simply replies "I'm coming". Rachelle stands and walks aboard with hollow eyes.. the emptiness of being without purpose weighing heavily upon her soul.. Nat: "Have you skills that would benefit others?" Rachelle: I have advanced knowledge of medical treatment.. Nat: "You could use that to help others" Rachelle contemplates the Diathim's words. "Perhaps" her only response.

Official reports have no further data on what became of Natascha, or how the 2 parted ways. They also do not say much of Rachelle for a short time, presumably time spent with Natascha.

Some Time Passes, and a New Start

Rachelle, now aboard her ship The Cat's Meow, is on her way back to Felucia from her most recent assignment. Her path has brought her full circle, back to her days as a doctor. Her experimental implant, once the source of her hardships, now being used to full effect for the Medical data it stores. It's been a few years since that fateful day on Gand. Rachelle has moved beyond her hunt for revenge.. and has even come face to face with her one time prey. She actually learned quite a bit from sitting and talking with Ivy. She had always been told her Mother was dead, only to find that Ivy herself is in fact Rachelle's Mom. This revelation only served to add to the girl's questions and the dark past that she now hid beneath the smile of a healer.

After she arrived back at "base", which was merely a make shift hospital on the outskirts of one of the villages that was involved in a local conflict. She was tending to the patients when one of them, a Trandoshan who had started the raid, slipped from his bed and quickly ripped the attending doctor's throat out. With a wet splat, the doctor's lifeless body fell to the ground right as Rachelle was rounding the corridor.

Official reports are sketchy at this point, but the next thing that has been confirmed is that Rachelle was hauled bloody and unconscious from the clinic by another Trandoshan in shackles. She awoke to find herself bound to a chair in an unfamiliar, and as of yet unknown, place. After what seemed like hours, the door opened and a woman entered. It should be noted that the blood covering her was not hers.
