Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson (born Year -7, Day 252) was a female Iridonian.

Life

Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson was a clone who finished incubation on Day 252 of Galactic Year -7. She was created from the genetic information of Varlathotep Ragnvaldansson, an Iridonian warrior, and Ulrike von Ismay, a Hapan aristocrat of the Ismay family. From the time she could walk she was thrust into vigorous training and was rarely able to spend time with the other children of her clan.

Creation

Originally created for Ulrike von Ismay, Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson finished incubation on Day 252 of Year -7 and was designated clone number Seventeen with her sister being Clone Eighteen. At birth however, Clone Seventeen's father wished to kill both of the unauthorized clones but did not due to intervention from Ulrike. This gave Clone Seventeen and Eighteen a chance at life.

Due to genetic manipulation by the cloners of Iridonia, Clone Seventeen excelled in martial prowess exams while Clone Eighteen excelled in all mental and cognitive exams.

Youth

At the age of five, Clone Seventeen along with the rest of her clan left Iridonia on an unnamed Arquitens Light Cruiser for reasons unknown to all of the youth. She did not show emotion about leaving; she rarely showed any emotion at all. Being one of thirty-two clones, Clone Seventeen was emotionally distant. Building walls around herself was one of the only things she controlled about herself and it was something she did frequently. However, it wasn't long before she also figured out that she had the power over life and death. For Clone Seventeen, it was always a power struggle. A power struggle over herself internally and the other clones externally.

At the age of nine she killed her first sentient being. Clone Thirty-two attacked her in a rage induced fury while alone with her in a maintenance hall on their clan's ship. Armed with a nothing more than a lead pipe, Clone Seventeen fought back and defended herself. The unnamed clone died shortly after suffering several blows to the head. This was the first time Clone Seventeen seen the blood of another but it would not be the last. Clone Seventeen wouldn't run from a bloodbath but would rather charge right into the middle of it.

The Clone Purge

Between the ages of nine and twelve Clone Seventeen's life went into a lull of sorts. She was going through the motions of clan life, unaware of what her and her fellow clones would be tasked to do shortly thereafter. One day, aboard the Clan's Arquitens Light Cruiser, all of the clones were gathered into a meeting hall where they were told that they would be pitted against one another. Clone Seventeen, more experienced with death due to an experience years earlier, was confident in herself and her sister that they would survive the trials. A twist happened - the trial would take place on Iridonia, their homeworld.

Taken to the surface of the planet the hunt began. The clones scattered into pairs of two; Clone Seventeen and Eighteen stuck together. They knew if they wanted to survive then they would need to rely on one another's skills. There were twenty-nine other clones left (due to the death of one by Clone Seventeen at the age of nine). The trials took nearly one year to complete and in the end Clone Seventeen and Eighteen stood tall above the corpses of the others. During that year that Clone Seventeen and her sister were gone, Ulrike von Ismay left Clone Seventeen's father because of reasons unknown. Genetic manipulation and years of emotional blockage stopped all feelings, if any, from washing over her.

At the age of sixteen, Clone Seventeen was granted her father's name of Varlathotep Ragnvaldansson and the title of Al`Jormungandr, meaning "The Snake", in a naming ceremony aboard the clan's Arquitens Light Cruiser. She now had an identity as she thrust herself into adulthood.

Death

On Year 15, Day 107, Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson had been attempting to repair a damaged escape pod when the escape pod's boosters fired with her inside. Unable to control the craft, Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson was sent into the Mondress Sun and perished. All of her assets were noterised to go to an acquaintance.

Careers

Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson had held a number of careers since her first public appearance in Year 14.

Big Wrench Services

As Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson started her trading career she began looking for ways to make herself stand out. This is what began her personal quote of "Who needs big boobs when you can have a Giant Wrench?" in reference to her small breasts and love of tools. As her trading career continued, she felt the need to use this as her marketing motto. Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson began trading and offering services under the name of Big Wrench Services. Big Wrench Services offered free delivery for goods purchased from Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson within reasonable distance of her current location at that time. She also intended to offer services to businesses for their members including holonet signature generation systems and other network systems. These systems were held back from being released after issues in their software.

Eclipse Droidworks

On Day 0 of Galactic Year 15, Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson received minor funding to start Eclipse Droidworks, a droid production company, from Alexander von Ismay. Due to disputes and disagreements between the shareholders and herself, Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson pulled her personal funds and assets from Eclipse Droidworks and stepped down from her position. Shortly after, Eclipse Droidworks closed its doors due to bankruptcy.

Neutral Publications Conglomerate

On Day 259 of Galactic Year 14, Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson founded the Neutral Publications Conglomerate. This short-lived News organization lasted no more than 2 weeks before closure. While reason for closure was never publicly stated, close friends to Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson reported that it was due to staffing conflicts; In particularly, two staff members with no experience in investigatory journalism took it upon themselves to harass various members of the Imperial Union and other groups.

Padme Smith Situation

Observing Padme after Syn knocked her unconscious.

On Day 229 of Galactic Year 14 Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson trapped Padme Smith on her ship. That night Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson began taking bids on the young wench's life. After a multitude of swindling attempts and miscommunications, Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson revoked Nagatee Kingdom's right to bid on Padme's release. Syn purchased Padme from Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson for a total of 120 million in credits and assets within hours of putting up Padme for sale.

On Day 245 of Galactic Year 14 Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson delivered Padme to Syn who executed her shortly afterward. Syn left Padme's body on Ylesia for her surviving family members, lovers, friends, and employees to retrieve at their own risk. To this day, no one has retrieved the now rotten corpse.

Personality and Appearance

Personality

Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson was known mostly for her eccentric personality. She frequently demanded her full name be used when speaking to her, something that many speculated lead to Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson's kidnapping of Padme Smith. Situations where people refused to use her full name or decided to shorten her name to something like "Var" or "Varla" usually ended with her going into a rage.

Many of Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson's quirks could be traced back to her frequent usage of spice and alterations done to her brain at the cloning camps on Iridonia. While the amount of spice she does on average is unknown, it is speculated to cost her tens of millions of credits per month to maintain.

Appearance

Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson was a rather short individual and stood at only one meters and fifty-nine centimeters tall. Even though she is "vertically challenged", Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson was well built and muscular compared to many other females and was more than willing to prove herself in combat.

Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson frequently changed her hair colour. Although the base colour always stayed her natural black, it wasn't uncommon for the rest of her hair to be colours like purple, pink and red. Commonly Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr changed her hair colour multiple times through a week.

Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson's eyes were modified on a genetic level for aesthetic reasons. Her irises were black and her scleroses were red. Although this pattern isn't uncommon amongst the Iridonian people, her eyes were special. The scleroses glowed a bright and fiery red colour.

Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson's skin was a pale white and covered in a multitude of tattoos. On her face she bared a total of eight clan tattoos: two on each side of her jaw, one on her chin, three on her brow, one on her nose and one beside her right eye. These tattoos were awarded to her for her acts of courage and her willingness to serve her clan to the fullest. Alongside her clan face tattoos she had multiple tattoos covering her body, ranging from simple words written in Iridonian to intricate Iridonian tribal tattoos.

Varlathotep Al`Jormungandr Ragnvaldansson tended to wear flight suits or pirate-like garbs most of the time. Her flight suits were frequently tightly fitted and hug her curves while the pirate-like clothing appeared more loosely fitted. She was wearing a suit of Imperial Royal Guard Armour when she died.
