Why do we need that overabundance of red links in the article about Jessy James's retirement? I did nothing else than deleted the red links. - Kinsa Rha, 1.05.2011, 18:03 GMT EDIT: If we want to have some listing of possible ranks, it can be done, but for kriff's sake, not a separate page about every rank! - added 18:08 GMT

Because it's a general rule that a first time a technical term is introduced a link to an article about it and its use by different groups of people is created. It's a wiki editing 101. --Xanyarr Chyakk 18:18, 1 May 2011 (GMT)
So let's make the listing of possible ranks - that would be the "article about it and its use by different groups of people". I could start working on such a listing tomorrow. - Kinsa Rha, 1.05.2011, 18:44 GMT
That's a good solution until the page grows too big and too cumbersome! And all the individual rank/title pages could be redirect pages to that overview page. --Xanyarr Chyakk 19:14, 1 May 2011 (GMT)

Sorry didn't realise there was one, last time I've been here the only person capable of deleting was Jennifer, no? --Ryan Roche 14:40, 7 August 2011 (GMT)

Dreighton and Veynom are still the only two with deletion privs! And sorry I should have posted that on your talk page too, instead of edit summary. --Xanyarr Chyakk 15:40, 7 August 2011 (GMT)
  • That has to change, Dreighton and Vey must have more important things to do than handling our deleted articles. Maybe we should talk to them about this, a team to handle the Holocron is so much needed. --Ryan Roche 16:54, 7 August 2011 (GMT)
  • Na, this is EXACTLY what I am here to do. :) I will not always delete articles marked for deletion, I keep the page when I feel some other user may be tempted to create exactly the same page pretty soon, so the "marked for deletion" basically becomes something like a mark that this term is deprecated for use in the Holocron (e.g. because it is OOC). If you think a special category and template for this would be helpful, please feel free to create one. Also do not hesitate to mail or DM me, if you spot a bot.--Dreighton 21:11, 17 August 2011 (GMT)
