==Childhood==

She was raised by her mother, Saumya Ahluwalia, because her father had been sold into slavery before her birth. When Elara was young, she was captured due to her rare white fur and seen as a commodity, not a being, instilling a paranoia that every person she met was either trying to acquire her, or judge her. She spent three years in captivity on Kashyyyk, during which she had access to many resources, including the Galactic News Service (GNS) and a variety of books. This wasn't just reading; it was an act of mental escape. The stories of the Mandalorians, who judged one another by deeds (aliit ori'shya tal'din) represented the opposite of her life as a slave, where she was judged solely by her skin. Before being sold to an unknown buyer from her home planet, Elara managed to escape into the deep woods, where she encountered Wookiee rebels. She eventually rose through the ranks of the Wookiee rebel group before successfully escaping on an old 578-R Space Transport at an unknown date.

==Way to Mandalore==
Elara wanted to find a place where she would feel welcome. The Imperials were not that place, so she applied to join the rebels but was denied entry, reinforcing feelings of being unfit for society. She then applied to Mandalore, which is known for being very welcoming to new space travelers. There, she would begin her adventures, including bounty hunting. They promised a place where her past as a slave wouldn't matter-only her competence. This was not a mercenary choice; it was a desprate attempt to find a family and an identity that could override her trauma. The Mandalorian way of life became her therapy, replacing the chaos of her childhood with clear discipline.

==Life as a Mandalorian==
Upon arriving in Okyaab, she began her training under Zachill DeSol, the second-in-command at the time. She completed her training with Kaden Wren, achieving the rank of O-1. Afterward, she assisted with scan missions and logistics before returning to Kashyyyk to secure freedom for both herself and her spouse. Elara then purchased Ania’s freedom as well, but while Ania was raised by Chandra, Elara returned to Mandalore, believing the only way to ensure their freedom was to become a strong, wealthy, and powerful protector. ==Evaar’la Wren==
The clan known as Evaar’la Wren was led by Kaden Wren during its existence. Elara joined the clan upon her return to Mandalore. Wren was a prominent Mandalorian clan that included members such as Kaden Wren, Gratuar Rau, and Cassidy Dragonblood. However, the clan disbanded following a conflict between Kaden Wren and Cassidy Dragonblood, who had not yet been officially inducted into the clan. As a result of this altercation, Elara left with the majority of the clan members.

==Clan Rau==
Gratuar Rau established Clan Rau, Members: Gratuar Rau, Kitsu, and Elara's daughter, Ania Laghmani (previous). Following the chaotic disbandment of Wren, Elara temporarily found solace with Clan Rau, a much smaller but more compassionate group established by Gratuar Rau. Her brief tenure there represented a moment of reflection.

==Return to Wren==
At Kaden Wren's request, Elara returned to Evaar'la Wren, where she stayed for about a month before plans were made for the clan to leave Mandalore.
