Carl Warrington was born and raised in a middle class family on [[Corellia]] and as soon as he learned to fly he left home to see what adventures awaited him as a freelance trader.

He spent many years as a freelancer and was heavily involved in galactic trade. He started by trading low value fighter craft and vehicles and slowly worked his way up to larger and rarer craft. One year into his trading career he was betrayed by a business associate and lost all of his slowly acquired fortune.

Left only with two cloakshape/H fighters he was forced to rebuild. While he continued to trade in fighters and vehicles he expanded the offerings of his store to include hidden system coordinates and stocks. Through the new focus of his business he was able to regain his lost fortune.

He competed in the second Kessel Run with [[Jeb`el Ras]] and came in second place. The winnings from this race was a [[YT-510]] freighter, the ''Rumors of War,'' which Carl still owns and uses as one of his primary transports.

After this point Carl continued his freelance trading career and amassed a small fleet along with numerous space stations and facilities.

Carl retired from trading and spent several years relaxing at his personal residence on [[Corellia (Planet)|Corellia]] before the thrill of making deals called him back to the galactic trading market. Upon his return, he found that the economy had changed significantly. Ships and vehicles were now being mass produced and margins were slim.

Carl was long a secret member of the Eidola Pirates, but came out publicly to complete his vision of a pirate hub for trading and business on [[Sevarcos X (Planet)|Sevarcos X]]. He has since completed the project, following which, [[Sevarcos X (Planet)|Sevarcos X]] became known as one of the largest pirate business centers in the galaxy. Since then, his planetary building and construction consulting endeavors have taken off, with Carl guiding various other planetary building operations within the [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]] system.

Carl specializes in planetary construction and building planning of both the legal and illegal variety. Known as a champion of the underdog, Carl has been known to take long breaks from building Eidola's infrastructure to aid struggling peoples throughout the galaxy. The building project on Drup II to aid syphilis infected Ugnaughts was one such venture.

Not many years after Carl's return to the galactic stage, a new system called [[Drup (System)|Drup]] was discovered in the galactic south. Carl had been spending time as a freelance builder for a large mining faction and was in the area at the time the news of the system was made public. He rushed down to the surface of Drup II and founded a large number of cities.

The founding of the cities was partially funded by A`Zol Surek, a trading partner with whom Carl had done business previously. Carl and Zol started a production company named Warrington Surek Industrial, with which the two intended to use the newly founded cities as factory cities to produce products and small ships for the galactic south.

This venture was halted when Zol was captured by [[Zann Consortium|Zann]], and his 51% stake in WSI was turned over to them prior to his execution. As Zol had owned a majority share of the company, Carl was left holding a non-controlling stake with the treacherous Zann Consortium as a partner. Carl was strong-armed into a deal in which he would accept 10% of the earnings of WSI while Zann controlled the company and kept the remaining 90%.

However, time would tell that even this deal was too good to be true. Zann never honored its agreement. When Carl inquired about his payment, Zann feigned interest in paying Carl only to lure him onto one of their stations to capture him. Carl and [[Ximaro Jix]] did battle on ''The Anchorage'' in the [[Vaxal (System)|Vaxal]] system, and Carl overpowered his opponent, defeating him and escaping the trap.

The cities on Drup II were never sold throughout this fiasco, and Carl held them as a wildcard for future revenge against Zann. In [[Year 19]], Carl enlisted the help of his friend and fellow pirate, [[Argon Nightwish]], and together the pair snuck into the Drup system with Bulk Freighters laden with building materials and sick [[Ugnaught]] refugees. They spent several days building hundreds of hotels and other facilities in which the syphilitic Ugnaughts could live. This act of generosity was strongly opposed by Zann agents as the hotels would saturate the market and dramatically reduce the potential for Zann-owned hotels to earn income on the planet. Carl and Argon were able to outsmart their Zann opponents and all of the facilities were successfully produced for the migrant Ugnaughts. The story of this revenge has been reported extensively by the galactic news service in the article "[[A Syphilitic Situation on Drup II]]".

In [[Year 20]], Carl embarked on a secret mission to solidify Eidola's control of the moon of Ferxani Beta in the [[Polith]] system. The [[Galactic Empire]] controls the Polith system with the famous bacta production center - [[Thyferra]] - at the center of the system's economy. Carl snuck into the system and covertly established a pirate training academy, military base, and significant defenses at this valuable forward base for Eidola raids on Imperial bacta shipments. It is rumored that Imperial slaves were used in the construction of this base. The Eidola base was constructed so quickly that it was long a thorn in the side of the Imperial bacta shipping and production despite the Empire's desires to eradicate the forward base.

In [[Year 21]], Carl lead a team of Eidolans on a quest to relocate many of Eidola's discontent senior citizens from [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]] to the [[Bes (System)|Bes]] system. These former pirates had become dissatisfied with the restrictive laws being enacted to curb their frequent public displays of nudity on the streets of [[Sevarcos X (Planet)|Sevarcos X]]. The mission was a success, resulting in the relocation of millions of senior citizens to 100 newly founded nudist cities on [[Bes IV (Planet)|Bes IV]]. While Rogue Squadron defended their world admirably and murdered many elderly Eidolans, ultimately they were unable to stop the flow of the Eidolan nudists. Later in [[Year 21]], Carl was informed that a racial minority within the Hoth system was struggling to find housing and was living in homelessness on the planet [[Biosh (Planet)|Biosh]]. He snuck past the system patrols and the shields of the planet itself and began the construction of nearly 100 hotels, offices, and taverns. The intent was to quickly make housing, jobs, and entertainment for the suffering minority population, however the locals bitterly opposed Carl’s attempt to aid the marginalized of Hoth. A group called "NIMBs" (Not In My Biosh) complained loudly and the magistrate of Biosh: Aks Olotl, quickly came to the aid of the NIMBs. Fortunately Carl and his builders had long experience in this sort of building and were able to complete the entire city with all its facilities in under a week. Aks Olotl's attempts to arrest builders and block Carl from guiding reinforcements was entirely unsuccessful due to Aks' near complete ineptitude in hand-to-hand combat.

On [[Year 22]] day 9 Carl was promoted to second in command of [[Eidola Pirates]] however he was not told of his promotion. He returned to his HQ station Ambush Point orbiting Sevarcos X to find Pirates strewn throughout the station in a drunken stupor. While drunkenness is normal and even encouraged in Eidola, the degree of inebriation was unusual. When he arrived at his office he found Argon Nightwish who informed Carl that he had missed both his own promotion ceremony and ensuing party because Syn forgot to inform Carl of the promotion and refused to invite Carl to the party. Argon next pointed Carl to the long list of tasks which Syn left on Carl’s desk outlining his new duties as second in command. As Carl read dubiously through the long list of expectations one of the drunks who had somehow accessed Carl’s office and was passed out on the floor looked up. It was Squall Chitose. Squall laughed when he saw Carl reading the list and slurred something that sounded like “sucker!” as he went back to his drunken dreams.

In [[Year 22]] Carl liberated 12 X-wing starfighters from the clutches of the [[Sith Imperium]] valued at the time at roughly 1.1 billion credits in a daring raid of the Golan II "Wirsaka Nadasja Andi" guarding [[Tamra (Planet)|Tamra]] in the [[Tamra (System)|Tamra]] system. Carl successful absconded with all of the X-Wing fighters so quietly that the Sith Imperium didn't notice the theft for weeks. Ultimately, while Carl attempted to reason with the Sith, they refused to provide Carl with the access codes to the fighters in spite of the fact that the X-wings were now hopelessly outside of Sith reach, hidden safely in Carl's stronghold in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]]. The fighters stayed with Carl's slicers in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]] where they worked to crack the access codes to these X-wings for nearly 4 years. When no progress was made, Carl brought the ships to [[Derra]] to consult with one of the galaxy's top code slicers in [[Year 26]]. After only three days, the codes for all 12 x-wings were in Carl's possession and he fired all of his code slicers back in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]]. This impulsive move caused significant economic turmoil in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]], as it was later realized, after the firings, that he had been employing nearly 10% of the population as code slicers.

In [[Year 22]] a population of oppressed non-humans on the [[Galactic Empire]] world of [[Humbarine (Planet)|Humbarine]] contacted Carl requesting economic relief from the oppression of the [[Galactic Empire]]. Carl agreed to smuggle the necessary materials past the Empire's patrols and bring an elite team of builders to construct a business district of sorts for these sentients in order to provide them with jobs and wealth. The details of this arrangement remain unclear, but it is rumored that Carl was compensated handsomely for this latest spat of illicit building. As Carl expected there was significant resistance from the Empire and soon many of his top builders were arrested. Unexpectedly the Empire's agent, [[Patrick Mueirech]], while quite savvy in arresting a large number of Carl's builders, apparently lacked the authorization from his superiors to either bring the builders to prison or execute them. Consequently he left the builders tied to lamp posts in front of the facilities they had been building. Relieved that he didn't have to resort to a more drastic rescue, Carl snuck behind Patrick and released all the builders from their lamp post bondage mere minutes after their capture. This bazar cat and mouse game continued for the entire operation. Ultimately, the city facilities were built without a single casualty and the non-human population of Humbarine was left much wealthier.

In [[Year 23]] Carl led a band of pirates in capturing the [[Si`Klaata Cluster (System)|Si`Klaata Cluster]] from the [[Knights of the Fountain]] who, at the time, had recently joined the [[Imperial Union]]. The capture was accomplished by a daring plan to import billions of syphilitic Ugnaughts to the planet of [[Kintan]] at the urgent request of the [[Nikto]] people as reported in the GNS article [[Pirates Plunder Imperial Union System]]. This mass importation of Ugnaughts was poorly thought through and lead to a food crisis, a housing crisis, and an STD crisis for [[Kintan]]. But in spite of this seemingly inexcusable blunder, the [[Eidola Pirates]] were able to retain control of the system and significantly improve its defenses.

In [[Year 25]] Carl performed a detailed, galaxy wide survey of Ugnaughts and it determined that Cantras Gola was the worst place to live in the entire galaxy for these undersized creatures. The main driver of this shocking result was that it was too cold and had very few urinals at an appropriate hight for Ugnaughts. This was leading to an unacceptable amount of Ugnaught shrinkage. Which of course is highly undesirable due to their natural lack of size. To unshrink the Ugnaughts Carl embarked on a long journey from Sevarcos to build the Ugnaughts acceptable dwellings and places of work with exclusively Ugnaught hight urinals. Unfortunately the local government responded poorly to Carl's well meaning facility construction with one government official threatening to "...wage open war on planetary surfaces & simply destroy all you have built.". In spite of these headwinds, Carl and his builders were able to complete the construction of a full city of hotels, offices and taverns, all with Ugnaught hight urinals for the population of Cantras Gola.

In [[Year 25]] Carl lead a group of pirates to [[Derra]] to engage in a daring raid of shipping in the system in which they successfully absconded with over 1,100 items, imperial technology, lightsaber parts valued in the hundreds of millions of credits and destroyed assets valued at over one billion credits, as reported in [[Breaking News from Derra: Stolen hats, a battle in Syn’s Mom, and a murder solved]]. The pirates were able to accomplish this feat in spite of the Rebellion's claims that they had brought order to [[Derra]], which has been long plagued by violence. The battles with the Rebel forces were fierce and the Eidolans were badly out gunned. However, the pirates were able to effectively use hit and fade tactics to avoid the bulk of the Rebel fleet. The pirates also took advantage of the sensor shielding properties of [[Derra IV]] and extensively looted the famed "Outbreak Response" city.

In [[Year 26]] Carl again brought a group of pirates to the [[Derra]] system upon an important improvement in Eidola hacking technology which allowed for the easier capture of ships. Upon entering the system, the pirates were met with a depressing sight, all ships in the [[Derra]] system seemed to have been destroyed. Upon talking to a survivor they found floating in an escape pod it seemed that everyone had fled to the surface of the planet [[Derra IV]] to Outbreak Response city. The pirates followed the hapless citizens of [[Derra]] to the surface and proceeded to capture 22 ships, over 50 vehicles, and hundreds of items. At the conclusion of the raid Syn and Carl disabled and stormed a Jedi corvette and did battle with the Jedi: George O'Rouke and his 40 armed guards. O'Rouke and his guards were no match for the fearless and clothe-less [[Syn]] and Carl and fled before their onslaught. In [[Year 27]] Carl got a tip from a deep sleeper agent that Zann had found a hidden system. In fact this system was so recently found that Zann had not yet been able to claim control of the system. Unfortunately for Carl, the festivities surrounding the [[Squall Chitose]] retirement party had all of Eidola drunk in Hutt Space while the new system was across the galaxy, near Sevarcos. As widely reported in [[Giant Squabeliks and Secret Agents: How Khuiumin Turned Into a War Zone]] Carl ultimately decided it was best to tip off the [[New Republic]] as they were in position to take the system from Zann. And hence, Carl started the [[War for Khuiumin]]. Carl fought in this ensuing conflict and was found in every phase of the battle. He drew first blood by attacking Zann in the [[Hibridium Kestrel]] before any of the NR forces arrived, and then joined the NR's attempt to break the blockade around the planets. Carl recklessly charged down the gravity well in the Fury class corvette [[Terror of Tamarin]] and was among the first wave of attackers who broke through. After the fierce fighting to break through the blockade in which Carl demonstrated his expert flying abilities Carl made it to the ground and engaged in ground combat.

While on the ground Carl came face to face with Grand Admiral [[Jake Azzameen]] whom Carl had battled at Bes. While the onlookers watched in trepidation at how these two former rivals would react, Carl and Jake shook hands and exchanged admiration for each other's contribution to the battle.

In year 21 Carl placed 1st in the Swap Hunt at Nimban after executing an exacting strategy of targeting exclusively Draigons. While Carl does not have much time to spend bounty hunting due to his busy schedule, he has never missed a bounty, and is feared throughout the galaxy as an elite bounty hunter.

Carl is known for his love of animals and has several rooms dedicated to housing his pets on the [[Widowmaker]]. Among his many pets, Norbert the Draigon has gained a certain level of notoriety as Carl's closest companion. He came across Norbert accidentally after doing battle with several Draigons in the mountains of northwestern Yelsain in [[Year 18]]. At the time, the [[Great Science Feud]] was in full swing, and the Twilight Foundation faction that Carl had chosen to join needed Draigon scales for scientific purposes. After Carl and his band emerged victorious from their battle with the Draigons, Carl stumbled across a mysterious egg lying near the battlefield. He brought the egg back to his ship and cared for it until it hatched. He was delighted to discover that the egg contained a baby Draigon. Norbert and Carl have been close friends ever since, often hunting together to hone their combat skills, and consequently, Norbert has developed into an expert combatant. Norbert has even made several appearances in the Death Hunt as one of the few creatures who regularly participates. "Norbert's Den" on the [[Widowmaker]] is a massive room designed specifically to cater to the needs and wants of a Draigon with comforts such as imitation mountainous terrain and porgs for Norbert's hunting entertainment. Norbert's Den is also where Norbert keeps some of his own prized possessions.

Carl has an elite fighting crew of pirates who function as shock troops for boarding ships, body guards, and assassins. Lead by [[Nikolaj Locke]], Carl's top lieutenant, Carl's Corsairs have seen significant action. Locke is a former Galactic Empire Lieutenant Colonel who was XO of the famed 3rd Imperial Legion also known as the "Shadow Guard". While the Empire states that Locke was killed in action, it seems he was actually injured fighting pirates and left for dead. When he came to, he had no recollection of his prior life and eventually found his way down to [[Sevarcos X (Planet)|Sevarcos X]], as many do, seeking its promise of anonymity and vast opportunities. Carl met him at a seedy tavern on the planet and, upon realization of Locke's abilities, quickly offered Locke a small fortune to come work for him. Unfortunately, the combat which had lead to Locke's injuries also had catastrophically damaged Locke's arm. Carl and a team of trusted surgeons oversaw the replacement of Locke's arm with a cybernetic which has dramatically increased Locke's strength and allowed him to fully recover from the wounds he sustained. The Corsairs consist of several squads of highly trained snipers, sharp shooters, vibroblade experts, and unarmed brawlers. Norbert the Draigon has also been known to fight along side the Corsairs and even aided the Corsairs in the capture of a bandit corvette in [[Year 22]].

Carl specializes in planetary construction and building planning of both the legal and illegal variety. Known as a champion of the underdog, Carl has been known to take long breaks from building Eidola's infrastructure to aid struggling peoples throughout the galaxy. The building project on Drup II to aid syphilis infected Ugnaughts was one such venture.

'''The Drup Saga'''

Not many years after Carl's return to the galactic stage, a new system called [[Drup (System)|Drup]] was discovered in the galactic south. Carl had been spending time as a freelance builder for a large mining faction and was in the area at the time the news of the system was made public. He rushed down to the surface of Drup II and founded a large number of cities.

The founding of the cities was partially funded by A`Zol Surek, a trading partner with whom Carl had done business previously. Carl and Zol started a production company named Warrington Surek Industrial, with which the two intended to use the newly founded cities as factory cities to produce products and small ships for the galactic south.

This venture was halted when Zol was captured by [[Zann Consortium|Zann]], and his 51% stake in WSI was turned over to them prior to his execution. As Zol had owned a majority share of the company, Carl was left holding a non-controlling stake with the treacherous Zann Consortium as a partner. Carl was strong-armed into a deal in which he would accept 10% of the earnings of WSI while Zann controlled the company and kept the remaining 90%.

However, time would tell that even this deal was too good to be true. Zann never honored its agreement. When Carl inquired about his payment, Zann feigned interest in paying Carl only to lure him onto one of their stations to capture him. Carl and [[Ximaro Jix]] did battle on ''The Anchorage'' in the [[Vaxal (System)|Vaxal]] system, and Carl overpowered his opponent, defeating him and escaping the trap.

The cities on Drup II were never sold throughout this fiasco, and Carl held them as a wildcard for future revenge against Zann. In [[Year 19]], Carl enlisted the help of his friend and fellow pirate, [[Argon Nightwish]], and together the pair snuck into the Drup system with Bulk Freighters laden with building materials and sick [[Ugnaught]] refugees. They spent several days building hundreds of hotels and other facilities in which the syphilitic Ugnaughts could live. This act of generosity was strongly opposed by Zann agents as the hotels would saturate the market and dramatically reduce the potential for Zann-owned hotels to earn income on the planet. Carl and Argon were able to outsmart their Zann opponents and all of the facilities were successfully produced for the migrant Ugnaughts. In [[Year 20]], Carl embarked on a secret mission to solidify Eidola's control of the moon of Ferxani Beta in the [[Polith]] system. The [[Galactic Empire]] controls the Polith system with the famous bacta production center - [[Thyferra]] - at the center of the system's economy. Carl snuck into the system and covertly established a pirate training academy, military base, and significant defenses at this valuable forward base for Eidola raids on Imperial bacta shipments. It is rumored that Imperial slaves were used in the construction of this base. The Eidola base was constructed so quickly that it was long a thorn in the side of the Imperial bacta shipping and production despite the Empire's desires to eradicate the forward base.

While Rogue Squadron defended their world admirably and murdered many elderly Eidolans, ultimately they were unable to stop the flow of the Eidolan nudists. Later in [[Year 21]], Carl was informed that a racial minority within the Hoth system was struggling to find housing and was living in homelessness on the planet [[Biosh (Planet)|Biosh]]. He snuck past the system patrols and the shields of the planet itself and began the construction of nearly 100 hotels, offices, and taverns. The intent was to quickly make housing, jobs, and entertainment for the suffering minority population, however the locals bitterly opposed Carl’s attempt to aid the marginalized of Hoth. A group called "NIMBs" (Not In My Biosh) complained loudly and the magistrate of Biosh: Aks Olotl, quickly came to the aid of the NIMBs. Fortunately Carl and his builders had long experience in this sort of building and were able to complete the entire city with all its facilities in under a week. Aks Olotl's attempts to arrest builders and block Carl from guiding reinforcements was entirely unsuccessful due to Aks' near complete ineptitude in hand-to-hand combat.

On [[Year 22]] day 9 Carl was promoted to second in command of [[Eidola Pirates]] however he was not told of his promotion. He returned to his HQ station Ambush Point orbiting Sevarcos X to find Pirates strewn throughout the station in a drunken stupor. While drunkenness is normal and even encouraged in Eidola, the degree of inebriation was unusual. When he arrived at his office he found Argon Nightwish who informed Carl that he had missed both his own promotion ceremony and ensuing party because Syn forgot to inform Carl of the promotion and refused to invite Carl to the party. Argon next pointed Carl to the long list of tasks which Syn left on Carl’s desk outlining his new duties as second in command. As Carl read dubiously through the long list of expectations one of the drunks who had somehow accessed Carl’s office and was passed out on the floor looked up. It was Squall Chitose. Squall laughed when he saw Carl reading the list and slurred something that sounded like “sucker!” as he went back to his drunken dreams.

In [[Year 22]] Carl liberated 12 X-wing starfighters from the clutches of the [[Sith Imperium]] valued at the time at roughly 1.1 billion credits in a daring raid of the Golan II "Wirsaka Nadasja Andi" guarding [[Tamra (Planet)|Tamra]] in the [[Tamra (System)|Tamra]] system. Carl successful absconded with all of the X-Wing fighters so quietly that the Sith Imperium didn't notice the theft for weeks. Ultimately, while Carl attempted to reason with the Sith, they refused to provide Carl with the access codes to the fighters in spite of the fact that the X-wings were now hopelessly outside of Sith reach, hidden safely in Carl's stronghold in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]]. The fighters stayed with Carl's slicers in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]] where they worked to crack the access codes to these X-wings for nearly 4 years. When no progress was made, Carl brought the ships to [[Derra]] to consult with one of the galaxy's top code slicers in [[Year 26]]. After only three days, the codes for all 12 x-wings were in Carl's possession and he fired all of his code slicers back in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]]. This impulsive move caused significant economic turmoil in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]], as it was later realized, after the firings, that he had been employing nearly 10% of the population as code slicers.

In [[Year 22]] a population of oppressed non-humans on the [[Galactic Empire]] world of [[Humbarine (Planet)|Humbarine]] contacted Carl requesting economic relief from the oppression of the [[Galactic Empire]]. Carl agreed to smuggle the necessary materials past the Empire's patrols and bring an elite team of builders to construct a business district of sorts for these sentients in order to provide them with jobs and wealth. The details of this arrangement remain unclear, but it is rumored that Carl was compensated handsomely for this latest spat of illicit building. As Carl expected there was significant resistance from the Empire and soon many of his top builders were arrested. Unexpectedly the Empire's agent, [[Patrick Mueirech]], while quite savvy in arresting a large number of Carl's builders, apparently lacked the authorization from his superiors to either bring the builders to prison or execute them. Consequently he left the builders tied to lamp posts in front of the facilities they had been building. Relieved that he didn't have to resort to a more drastic rescue, Carl snuck behind Patrick and released all the builders from their lamp post bondage mere minutes after their capture. This bazar cat and mouse game continued for the entire operation. Ultimately, the city facilities were built without a single casualty and the non-human population of Humbarine was left much wealthier.

In [[Year 23]] Carl led a band of pirates in capturing the [[Si`Klaata Cluster (System)|Si`Klaata Cluster]] from the [[Knights of the Fountain]] who, at the time, had recently joined the [[Imperial Union]]. The capture was accomplished by a daring plan to import billions of syphilitic Ugnaughts to the planet of [[Kintan]] at the urgent request of the [[Nikto]] people as reported in the GNS article [[Pirates Plunder Imperial Union System]]. This mass importation of Ugnaughts was poorly thought through and lead to a food crisis, a housing crisis, and an STD crisis for [[Kintan]]. But in spite of this seemingly inexcusable blunder, the [[Eidola Pirates]] were able to retain control of the system and significantly improve its defenses.

In [[Year 25]] Carl performed a detailed, galaxy wide survey of Ugnaughts and it determined that Cantras Gola was the worst place to live in the entire galaxy for these undersized creatures. The main driver of this shocking result was that it was too cold and had very few urinals at an appropriate hight for Ugnaughts. This was leading to an unacceptable amount of Ugnaught shrinkage. Which of course is highly undesirable due to their natural lack of size. To unshrink the Ugnaughts Carl embarked on a long journey from Sevarcos to build the Ugnaughts acceptable dwellings and places of work with exclusively Ugnaught hight urinals. Unfortunately the local government responded poorly to Carl's well meaning facility construction with one government official threatening to "...wage open war on planetary surfaces & simply destroy all you have built.". In spite of these headwinds, Carl and his builders were able to complete the construction of a full city of hotels, offices and taverns, all with Ugnaught hight urinals for the population of Cantras Gola.

In [[Year 25]] Carl lead a group of pirates to [[Derra]] to engage in a daring raid of shipping in the system in which they successfully absconded with over 1,100 items, imperial technology, lightsaber parts valued in the hundreds of millions of credits and destroyed assets valued at over one billion credits, as reported in [[Breaking News from Derra: Stolen hats, a battle in Syn’s Mom, and a murder solved]]. The pirates were able to accomplish this feat in spite of the Rebellion's claims that they had brought order to [[Derra]], which has been long plagued by violence. The battles with the Rebel forces were fierce and the Eidolans were badly out gunned. However, the pirates were able to effectively use hit and fade tactics to avoid the bulk of the Rebel fleet. The pirates also took advantage of the sensor shielding properties of [[Derra IV]] and extensively looted the famed "Outbreak Response" city.

Upon talking to a survivor they found floating in an escape pod it seemed that everyone had fled to the surface of the planet [[Derra IV]] to Outbreak Response city. The pirates followed the hapless citizens of [[Derra]] to the surface and proceeded to capture 22 ships, over 50 vehicles, and hundreds of items. At the conclusion of the raid Syn and Carl disabled and stormed a Jedi corvette and did battle with the Jedi: George O'Rouke and his 40 armed guards. O'Rouke and his guards were no match for the fearless and clothe-less [[Syn]] and Carl and fled before their onslaught. In [[Year 27]] Carl got a tip from a deep sleeper agent that Zann had found a hidden system. In fact this system was so recently found that Zann had not yet been able to claim control of the system. Unfortunately for Carl, the festivities surrounding the [[Squall Chitose]] retirement party had all of Eidola drunk in Hutt Space while the new system was across the galaxy, near Sevarcos. As widely reported in [[Giant Squabeliks and Secret Agents: How Khuiumin Turned Into a War Zone]] Carl ultimately decided it was best to tip off the [[New Republic]] as they were in position to take the system from Zann. And hence, Carl started the [[War for Khuiumin]]. Carl fought in this ensuing conflict and was found in every phase of the battle. He drew first blood by attacking Zann in the [[Hibridium Kestrel]] before any of the NR forces arrived, and then joined the NR's attempt to break the blockade around the planets. Carl recklessly charged down the gravity well in the Fury class corvette [[Terror of Tamarin]] and was among the first wave of attackers who broke through. After the fierce fighting to break through the blockade in which Carl demonstrated his expert flying abilities Carl made it to the ground and engaged in ground combat.

At the time, the [[Great Science Feud]] was in full swing, and the Twilight Foundation faction that Carl had chosen to join needed Draigon scales for scientific purposes. After Carl and his band emerged victorious from their battle with the Draigons, Carl stumbled across a mysterious egg lying near the battlefield. He brought the egg back to his ship and cared for it until it hatched. He was delighted to discover that the egg contained a baby Draigon. Norbert and Carl have been close friends ever since, often hunting together to hone their combat skills, and consequently, Norbert has developed into an expert combatant. Norbert has even made several appearances in the Death Hunt as one of the few creatures who regularly participates. "Norbert's Den" on the [[Widowmaker]] is a massive room designed specifically to cater to the needs and wants of a Draigon with comforts such as imitation mountainous terrain and porgs for Norbert's hunting entertainment. Norbert's Den is also where Norbert keeps some of his own prized possessions.

Carl has an elite fighting crew of pirates who function as shock troops for boarding ships, body guards, and assassins. Lead by [[Nikolaj Locke]], Carl's top lieutenant, Carl's Corsairs have seen significant action. Locke is a former Galactic Empire Lieutenant Colonel who was XO of the famed 3rd Imperial Legion also known as the "Shadow Guard". While the Empire states that Locke was killed in action, it seems he was actually injured fighting pirates and left for dead. When he came to, he had no recollection of his prior life and eventually found his way down to [[Sevarcos X (Planet)|Sevarcos X]], as many do, seeking its promise of anonymity and vast opportunities. Carl met him at a seedy tavern on the planet and, upon realization of Locke's abilities, quickly offered Locke a small fortune to come work for him. Unfortunately, the combat which had lead to Locke's injuries also had catastrophically damaged Locke's arm. Carl and a team of trusted surgeons oversaw the replacement of Locke's arm with a cybernetic which has dramatically increased Locke's strength and allowed him to fully recover from the wounds he sustained. The Corsairs consist of several squads of highly trained snipers, sharp shooters, vibroblade experts, and unarmed brawlers. Norbert the Draigon has also been known to fight along side the Corsairs and even aided the Corsairs in the capture of a bandit corvette in [[Year 22]].

Following the discovery of the [[Khuiumin]] system by Captain [[Krodo Rask]] of the [[Eyttyrmin Batiiv Pirates]], the Rebellion received intelligence on the pirates' intent to settle the system. Due to the proximity of Khuiumin to territory under control of the Rebellion, select Rebel Commanders decided that their groups would attempt to deny these settlement attempts. These Rebels formed the [[Kumquat Coalition]] and informed the Galaxy of the existance of Khuiumin System and intent to contest. Local [[Eidola]] pirates joined forces with the Kumquat Coalition and engaged the [[Shadow Dominion]], who rallied in support of [[Son-Tuul Pride]] and the [[Eyttyrmin Batiiv Pirates]]. In a lengthy space battle lasting from Day 106 to Day 108, the space forces of the [[Shadow Dominion]] were defeated.

The appearance of [[Corliss & Co.]], a member of the [[Hydian Expanse]], was harbinger of the events to unfold: The arriving forces of the Hydian Expanse and [[Imperial Union]] led to a complex political situation. Powers opposing each other in the [[Galactic Civil War]] and neutrals agreed on the Truce of Khuiumin. Allowing for the systems' complete lockdown and blockade, the Shadow Dominion was ousted and secured the system for Corliss & Co. of the Hydian Expanse. The truce was later broken by [[Havoc Squad]], who opened fire on Rebel units shortly before leaving the system.

In an assessment, the War for Khuiumin yields interesting perspectives. The Shadow Dominion was not able to contest the power of the Kumquat Coalition in open battle. This held all the more so after the arrival of major [[Hydian Expanse]] and [[Imperial Union]] forces. The Kumquat Coalition, the Hydian Expanse and the Imperial Union, representing the three major blocks either opposing each other and neutral in the [[Galactic Civil War]], were united in their interest to fight the pirates.
Subsequent complex political maneuvering and ultimately the Truce of Khuiumin allowed a sustainable system blockade to establish [[Corliss & Co.]] as ruling power of the system. Despite this achievement, the anti-piracy coalition failed to prevent Khagan Shalas and his pirates from escaping Khuiumin and thus, punishment. The Son-Tuul Pride sold its Khuiumin holdings to the [[Blue Star Dominion]], an otherwise uninvolved Rebel government, leading the [[Hydian Expanse]] to change its diplomatic status with the Dominion. The escape and survival of Khagan Shalas allowed the [[Son-Tuul Pride]] to restyle as the [[Eternal Empire]].

The Khuiumin system is discovered by chance by a small group of Eyttyrmin Batiiv pirates led by Captain Krodo Rask. Following the discovery, Captain Rask sends a signal to Khagan Bork Shalas, requesting immediate assistance from the Son-Tuul Pride in conquering the system. The Son-Tuul Pride heeds that call and sends its hordes. The explorers initially focus on conquering the planet Courkrus as quickly as possible. Two days later, the Hordes of the Pride eagerly arrive. Carl Warrington enters the Khuiumin in the CR92 [[Hibridium Kestrel]] thinking that his ECM would mask his arrival. However, he is seen and hailed by Bork Shalas with the message "Gotta hurry". At this point Carl, realizing that his forces are badly out of position to battle Eyttyrmin Batiiv pirates alone, contacts the New Republic and informs them of the discovery.

The Leaders of the Rebellion are informed of the discovery of the Khuiumin system at 10:00 CGT. Following a brief assessment of the available intelligence and taking political and strategic considerations into account, the Rebellion decides to establish an ad hoc Organisation. The Kumquat Coalition is formed with the aim of disrupting pirate activities in the Khuiumin sector and, ideally, preventing the pirates from establishing a strategic base there. Following this decision, the [[The Resistance|Resistance]], the [[The Jedi Order|Jedi Order]], [[-ARK-]], [[TIEFE]] and [[Rogue Squadron]] and [[Total Outer Rim]] announce an immediate response and deploy their own forces.

A press release intended for broadcast on the Galactic News Service was drafted and published after the system’s presence had been confirmed by rebel forces on the ground<ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49114 DESTINATION: KHUIUMIN ]</ref>. The GNS attracted galactic attention, and groups such as the [[Bounty Hunters Guild]] led by [[Nikolaj Eyre]] and the [[The Pentastar Alliance|Pentastar Alliance]] led by [[Dane Star]] announced their intention to set off for Khuiumin.

===Day 105===
A-Wings from Rogue Squadron are conducting combat reconnaissance flights near the planet Courkrus when they come under attack from Eyttyrmin Batiiv Raider-class corvette 'Prydwen'. Under the coordination of Grand Admiral Azzameen and leadership of Master Memnoch, the Total Outer Rim begins constructing defence stations at tactically important locations. Son-Tuul Pride is countering Total Outer Rim by setting up relay stations, which, according to a rebel intelligence service, may at a later date be replaced by the pirates with as of yet unknown weapons. Under the command of Banner-Prätor Blot Hlidskjalf, TIEFE is joining forces with Total Outer Rim to expand the system’s defences. It was also reported to the Kumquat Coalition via rebel intelligence, that the Hydian Expanse was on its way to Khuiumin.

[[Kolohe Mining Group MK2]] Corona-class frigates and [[Eidola|Eidolon]] corvettes, including the rare CR92 Battle Corvette [[Hibridium Kestrel]] commanded by Warlord [[Carl Warrington]], engage the STP pirates in a skirmish. A TIEFE Kaloth-class frigate and -ARK- Fury-class corvette join KMG and Eidolon forces, while TIEFE, RS and TOR continue system defense construction operations. TIEFE manages to place a Golan II station around 14:15 CGT covering the Khuiumin northeastern hyperspace entry. Corliss & Co. forces conduct planetary reconnaissance while preparing for ground combat and combat engineering operations on the planet of Courkrus. Separatist Intelligence uncovers information of raw materials being mined and shipped to Khuiumin by the Subduco Syndicate in support of the Son-Tuul Pride: subsequently, Seperatist Intelligence operatives manage to cancel all mining operations disrupting these raw material supplies.

Son-Tuul Pride Kaloth-class frigates 'Fenrir #5' and 'Ravager #14' and Eyttyrmin Batiiv Corona-class frigates 'Crimson Cutlass' and 'Smoking Flintlock', supported by Raider-class corvettes, a variety of gunboats and a sizeable wing of Toscan 8-Q, BTL-S3 Y-wing and Star Saber XC-01 MkII Starfighters, attempt to hold space superiority. Thus, the pirates engage the forces of the Kumquat Coalition and neutrals entering the system alike, with multiple skirmishes occuring at all system hyperspace entry points. Meanwhile, the pirates successfully manage to establish initial beachheads and construct defensive perimeters on the planets of Courkrus, Khuiumin II, Khuiumin III and the moon Courkrus B. In a coordinated Eidolon and Kumquat Coalition effort, Warlord [[Carl Warrington]] and Jedi Master Thragg Craghorn attempt to break through the pirate defensive lines of Khuiumin III and establish a beachhead themselves around 16:15 CGT. Notably, this operation is prevented by the Son-Tuul Pride <ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49160 Giant Squabeliks and Secret Agents: How Khuiumin Turned Into a War Zone]</ref>. During the fighting, a TOR Mammoth-class Heavy Hauler is utilized to initiate construction of a heavy Golan II station on the systems southern hyperspace entry point. Kumquat stationary system defense operations conclude successfully with the placement of that station and the TOR combat engineers withdraw from the system. The Krath arrives and conducts system reconnaisance using ATR spacecraft. Later the day, most space combat operations shifted towards the western hyperspace entry point and Kumquat Coalition forces fight side by side with [[Corliss & Co.]], under the command of [[Sol Kerrelan]], aboard the 'Shadow Ledger' flight of ATR-6 Assault Transports and Corona-class frigate 'Mandate of the Board'.

The increasing population, but without governmental acclamation, is testament to the activities of the Shadow Dominion. Four and a half hours later, the system control is updated by the Bureau to [[Son-Tuul Pride]] with a simultaneous update to Khuiumin III, which the pirates brought under their control. Courkrus A is also reported to be secured by the pirates. [[The Exchange]] and [[Triumvirate Coalition]] forces arrive, reinforcing the Kumquat Coalition. Frigate sized vessels of the Unnamed Imperium and the Bounty Hunters Guild, shortly after to be shown linked to the pirates, appear at a rendezvouz point near Khuiumin. Around 09:00?? CGT, the space [[Battle of Khuiumin]] erupts above Courkrus, with Kumquat forces under the overall command of Master Falte. A Jedi Order CR-90 corvette and an Eidola ground detachment make successful landfall on Courkrus. Roughly at 10:00 CGT, the Khuiumin system's proper registration with the Galactic Census Bureau has been completed and the system was broadcast via the Galactic News Service. Following the withdrawal of their combat engineering troops, an assault fleet from the [[Total Outer Rim]] joins the space battle, and the fighting subsides later that day with the remaining pirate space forces either destroyed or forced out of the system. Following the destruction of pirate spacecraft, the Kumquat Coalition observes unexplainable pirate Escape Pod flight patterns. Kumquat forces from now on hold the system space, and systematically begin establishing Courkrus atmospheric control, while allied forces begin to clear Courkrus planet of hostile presence in focused search and destroy operations. These include notorious pirate Warlord [[Carl Warrington]] and [[Corliss & Co.]] led by [[Uldric Corliss]] himself, who commence construction operations to contest Courkrus planetary control from the Shadow Dominion.

The main forces of the [[Confederacy of Independent Systems]] and the bulk of the [[Hydian Expanse]] arrive to the Khuiumin area of operations. Around 16:30 CGT, forces from the Hydian Expanse take up their combat positions in the Khuiumin system. Quickly, rapport is established between the Hydian Expanse and the Kumquat Coalition to jointly deny the Shadow Dominion Khuiumin and support Corliss & Co. in their quest for the system. The Kumquat Coalition joins ground combat operations, targeting pirate beachheads and landborne pirate spacecraft. General Descartes, now personally leading a ground assault unit, comes under heavy enemy fire and looses consciousness as a result of the injuries he had sustained whilst covering the retreat of his own troops. Badly wounded, he was later medivacced by arriving reinforcements. Eidolon and Rogue Squadron combat engineers and ground troops support Corliss construction operations on the eastern sectors of Courkrus in order to contest planetary control <ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49160 Giant Squabeliks and Secret Agents: How Khuiumin Turned Into a War Zone]</ref>. Meanwhile, TIEFE and TOR frigates enforce the Courkrus planetary blockade. Anecdotally, the Pirate Warlord Warrington and the Rebel Admiral Azzameen, former adversaries at [[Elder_Dumping:_Breaking_News_from_the_Bes_System|Bes]], shake hands on a remote spot in the wilderness of Courkrus. The Hydian Expanse and the Kumquat Coalition both are reporting further pirate Escape Pod performing unexplainable maneuvres, which are ultimately converging towards the surface of Courkrus. The stranded pirates become trapped under the anti-piracy coalitions' blockade.

With ground operations proceeding, established space dominance and the arrival the [[Hydian Expanse|Hydian Forces]], the Kumquat Coalition officially switches strategic plans for the system from denying the [[Shadow Dominion]] control to holding position to allow [[Corliss & Co.]] to take the system. Thus, the Hydian Expanse and the Kumquat Coalition implement the Blockade of Khuiumin. They are backed by contingents of the Restored Empire, few independent mercenaries and the meanwhile arrived Pentastar Alignment. The arrival of [[Imperial Union]] forces in the Khuiumin system marks a significant change to the overall situation. It directly lead to the negotiation of the Truce of Khuiumin by all anti-pirate parties. Moreover, it forced the implementation of an exclusion zone by the Kumquat Coalition and the Hydian Expanse, in order to avoid complex political situations involving parties otherwise adversarial in the Galactic Civil War.
As a direct result of the allied planetary ground operations focusing on search and destroy, as well as the space blockade, the pirate forces of the Shadow Dominion become almost trapped on Courkrus. The pirates, chased by Corliss & Co. and Kumquat forces, attempt to avoid entrapment but become engaged in a firefight during which [[Galen McGruff]] is incapacitated by a Corliss unit under [[Sol Kerrelan]]. Khagan Shalas, covered by a complement of his own battle droids, manages to provide first aid under heavy fire, thus securing McGruffs escape <ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49138 The Khuiumin Survivors - From the Log of Captain Krodo Rask]</ref>. While the allied forces miss to destroy the last pirate vessel, Khagan Shalas offers surrender for free passage for his people to the Hydian Expanse. This offer, although ultimately overcome by the events to unfold, was received with notable respect amongst the leadership of the anti-piracy coalition.

In the final hours of the day, a [[Tresario Star Kingdom]] Kaloth-class leaves hyperspace and reinforces the Imperial Union's presence at Khuiumin.

Unrelated to the ongoing battle, trade negotiations between the Son-Tuul Pride and [[Blue Star Dominion]] begin for the former's holdings in the Khuiumin system.

===Day 111===
During a changing of the guard under command of the Hydian Expanse, at least 14 ranking pirates of the [[Shadow Dominion]] manage to break through the blockade and exfiltrate the planet Courkrus aboard their last remaining ship. However, they leave [[Bork Shalas]], who launched a suprise attack against the anti-piracy coalition in order to create a diversion, [[Nikolaj Eyre]] and a small band of pirates behind <ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49138 The Khuiumin Survivors - From the Log of Captain Krodo Rask]</ref>. Khagan Shalas and his pirates subsequently continue their fight using ambushes and sporadic attacks with the anti-piracy coalition until they are rescued four days later on a third attempt.

On Day 112, an elaborate false flag operation at the behest of the Shadow Dominion to rescue their leader fails. [[Jawa Offworld Enterprises]] (JOE) exposed enemy agent Saiko Nagazi within its ranks, who was tasked with the rescue of Khagan Shalas. However, Nagazi's ship, transmitting unauthorized IFF keys, was intercepted by joint Kumquat and Hydian Expanse forces after entering the exclusion zone. Compeer [[Mika Noris]] personally conducted the inspection of the ship and took the enemy into custody; for operational reasons, the enemy was then interned on Courkrus A. The Son-Tuul Pride places a bounty of 750 million credits on Nagazi's rescue.

While this deal allowed Nikolaj Eyre to escape Courkrus in exchange for several entrenchments held by Eyre, it also enabled for Khagan Shalas and his remaining loyal pirates to be smuggled off the planet and through the exclusion zone enforced by the anti-piracy coalition. Fryst Ulfur transfers the obtained planetary holdings to [[Corliss & Co.]], including some on the moon Courkrus A. As a direct result, the forces of the anti-piracy coalition implement changes to their rules of engagement and increase alert readiness. Following the successful escape, the [[Shadow Dominion]] alters the ransom demands for its Khuiumin holdings and alleges a change of strategy from open battle to taking targeted action against the interests of the Rebels and [[Corliss & Co.]] in the region.

The [[Son-Tuul Pride]] and [[Blue Star Dominion]] successfully conclude negotiations, with the Dominion purchasing the Pride's holdings in the system. Subsequently, the Blue Star Dominion offers the purchased holdings to [[Corliss & Co.]], while the Hydian Expanse shifts its diplomatic stance towards the Blue Star Dominion in line with its previous declaration <ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49125 Priority message: Khuiumin]</ref>.
The Kumquat Coalition maintains blockade, but begins to prepare withdrawal from Khuiumin system having met its strategic and tactical objectives. On Day 118, during its own withdrawal from the Khuiumin system, Havoc Squad breaks the Truce of Khuiumin and opens fire on a Kumquat Coalition starship. Tresario Star Kingdom and Pentastar Alignment pledge to the truce and maintain a no-fire stance towards Kumquat Coalition. Two days later, the Pentastar Alignment also opens fire on a Kumquat Coalition vessel. However, contrary to an intended shot, TPA is claiming a weapons malfunction.

[[Zarkorious Valhazak]] from [[Stryker Military Services]], using fake credentials, is refused an unauthorised planetary approach of Courkrus A through the exclusion zone of Courkrus. The intelligence services of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Kumquat Coalition warn the leaders of the anti-piracy coalition of an imminent hostile attack threat on Khuiumin on Day 122. The following day, two invading Kaloth-class frigates belonging to the Bounty Hunters Guild are destroyed.

On Day 127 the [[Jawa Offworld Enterprises]] arrives to Khuiumin system reinforcing Kumquat Coalition forces, having concluded hosting the 21st Tatooine Swap Meet. The following days, some arriving smugglers are deterred from entering the system by Hydian Expanse forces.
On Day 131, Son-Tuul Pride restyles itself Eternal Empire <ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49149 Our Chains are Broken...]</ref><ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49165 The War Rages ]</ref>. Shortly thereafter, Saiko Nagazi is released from Courkrus A exchange by [[Corliss & Co.]] as part of a prisoner exchange. On Day 132 and 133 Courkrus planetary and moon control solidified for [[Corliss & Co.]], thus ending the blockade. The Kumquat Coalition departs from Khuiumin.

Much later, Saiko Nagazi is revealed a JOE double agent and labelled a traitor by the Eternal Empire.

The Terror of Tamarin is famous for ruthlessly putting down the rogue pirates in the Tamarin sector, fighting in combat in Derra, but most of all its role as [[Carl Warrington]]'s ship he took down the gravity well in the [[War for Khuiumin]] when he broke through the Zann blockade after a truly brutal battle. The Terror of Tamarin and Warrington were forced to retreat twice, taking heavy losses in this battle, but finally Carl employed the services of his elite A-wing pilots known as Carl's Corsairs to screen the Terror as it charged through the Zann blockade. Ultimately two Corsairs were lost in this engagement, but the payoff was huge as Carl's presence on the ground swayed the tide of the war.

Carl Warrington was born and raised in a middle class family on [[Corellia]] and as soon as he learned to fly he left home to see what adventures awaited him as a freelance trader.

He spent many years as a freelancer and was heavily involved in galactic trade. He started by trading low value fighter craft and vehicles and slowly worked his way up to larger and rarer craft. One year into his trading career he was betrayed by a business associate and lost all of his slowly acquired fortune.

Left only with two cloakshape/H fighters he was forced to rebuild. While he continued to trade in fighters and vehicles he expanded the offerings of his store to include hidden system coordinates and stocks. Through the new focus of his business he was able to regain his lost fortune.

He competed in the second Kessel Run with [[Jeb`el Ras]] and came in second place. The winnings from this race was a [[YT-510]] freighter, the ''Rumors of War,'' which Carl still owns and uses as one of his primary transports.

After this point Carl continued his freelance trading career and amassed a small fleet along with numerous space stations and facilities.

Carl retired from trading and spent several years relaxing at his personal residence on [[Corellia (Planet)|Corellia]] before the thrill of making deals called him back to the galactic trading market. Upon his return, he found that the economy had changed significantly. Ships and vehicles were now being mass produced and margins were slim.

Not many years after Carl's return to the galactic stage, a new system called [[Drup (System)|Drup]] was discovered in the galactic south. Carl had been spending time as a freelance builder for a large mining faction and was in the area at the time the news of the system was made public. He rushed down to the surface of Drup II and founded a large number of cities.

The founding of the cities was partially funded by A`Zol Surek, a trading partner with whom Carl had done business previously. Carl and Zol started a production company named Warrington Surek Industrial, with which the two intended to use the newly founded cities as factory cities to produce products and small ships for the galactic south.

This venture was halted when Zol was captured by [[Zann Consortium|Zann]], and his 51% stake in WSI was turned over to them prior to his execution. As Zol had owned a majority share of the company, Carl was left holding a non-controlling stake with the treacherous Zann Consortium as a partner. Carl was strong-armed into a deal in which he would accept 10% of the earnings of WSI while Zann controlled the company and kept the remaining 90%.

However, time would tell that even this deal was too good to be true. Zann never honored its agreement. When Carl inquired about his payment, Zann feigned interest in paying Carl only to lure him onto one of their stations to capture him. Carl and [[Ximaro Jix]] did battle on ''The Anchorage'' in the [[Vaxal (System)|Vaxal]] system, and Carl overpowered his opponent, defeating him and escaping the trap.

The cities on Drup II were never sold throughout this fiasco, and Carl held them as a wildcard for future revenge against Zann. In [[Year 19]], Carl enlisted the help of his friend and fellow pirate, [[Argon Nightwish]], and together the pair snuck into the Drup system with Bulk Freighters laden with building materials and sick [[Ugnaught]] refugees. They spent several days building hundreds of hotels and other facilities in which the syphilitic Ugnaughts could live. This act of generosity was strongly opposed by Zann agents as the hotels would saturate the market and dramatically reduce the potential for Zann-owned hotels to earn income on the planet. Carl and Argon were able to outsmart their Zann opponents and all of the facilities were successfully produced for the migrant Ugnaughts. The story of this revenge has been reported extensively by the galactic news service in the article "[[A Syphilitic Situation on Drup II]]".

Carl was long a secret member of the Eidola Pirates, but came out publicly to complete his vision of a pirate hub for trading and business on [[Sevarcos X (Planet)|Sevarcos X]]. He has since completed the project, following which, [[Sevarcos X (Planet)|Sevarcos X]] became known as one of the largest pirate business centers in the galaxy. Later in [[Year 21]], Carl was informed that a racial minority within the Hoth system was struggling to find housing and was living in homelessness on the planet [[Biosh (Planet)|Biosh]]. The intent was to quickly make housing, jobs, and entertainment for the suffering minority population, however the locals bitterly opposed Carl’s attempt to aid the marginalized of Hoth. A group called "NIMBs" (Not In My Biosh) complained loudly and the magistrate of Biosh: Aks Olotl, quickly came to the aid of the NIMBs. Fortunately Carl and his builders had long experience in this sort of building and were able to complete the entire city with all its facilities in under a week. Aks Olotl's attempts to arrest builders and block Carl from guiding reinforcements was entirely unsuccessful due to Aks' near complete ineptitude in hand-to-hand combat.

On [[Year 22]] day 9 Carl was promoted to second in command of [[Eidola Pirates]] however he was not told of his promotion. He returned to his HQ station Ambush Point orbiting Sevarcos X to find Pirates strewn throughout the station in a drunken stupor. While drunkenness is normal and even encouraged in Eidola, the degree of inebriation was unusual. When he arrived at his office he found Argon Nightwish who informed Carl that he had missed both his own promotion ceremony and ensuing party because Syn forgot to inform Carl of the promotion and refused to invite Carl to the party. Argon next pointed Carl to the long list of tasks which Syn left on Carl’s desk outlining his new duties as second in command. As Carl read dubiously through the long list of expectations one of the drunks who had somehow accessed Carl’s office and was passed out on the floor looked up. It was Squall Chitose. Squall laughed when he saw Carl reading the list and slurred something that sounded like “sucker!” as he went back to his drunken dreams.

In [[Year 22]] Carl liberated 12 X-wing starfighters from the clutches of the [[Sith Imperium]] valued at the time at roughly 1.1 billion credits in a daring raid of the Golan II "Wirsaka Nadasja Andi" guarding [[Tamra (Planet)|Tamra]] in the [[Tamra (System)|Tamra]] system. Carl successful absconded with all of the X-Wing fighters so quietly that the Sith Imperium didn't notice the theft for weeks. Ultimately, while Carl attempted to reason with the Sith, they refused to provide Carl with the access codes to the fighters in spite of the fact that the X-wings were now hopelessly outside of Sith reach, hidden safely in Carl's stronghold in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]]. The fighters stayed with Carl's slicers in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]] where they worked to crack the access codes to these X-wings for nearly 4 years. When no progress was made, Carl brought the ships to [[Derra]] to consult with one of the galaxy's top code slicers in [[Year 26]]. After only three days, the codes for all 12 x-wings were in Carl's possession and he fired all of his code slicers back in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]]. This impulsive move caused significant economic turmoil in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]], as it was later realized, after the firings, that he had been employing nearly 10% of the population as code slicers.

In [[Year 22]] a population of oppressed non-humans on the [[Galactic Empire]] world of [[Humbarine (Planet)|Humbarine]] contacted Carl requesting economic relief from the oppression of the [[Galactic Empire]]. Carl agreed to smuggle the necessary materials past the Empire's patrols and bring an elite team of builders to construct a business district of sorts for these sentients in order to provide them with jobs and wealth. The details of this arrangement remain unclear, but it is rumored that Carl was compensated handsomely for this latest spat of illicit building. As Carl expected there was significant resistance from the Empire and soon many of his top builders were arrested. Unexpectedly the Empire's agent, [[Patrick Mueirech]], while quite savvy in arresting a large number of Carl's builders, apparently lacked the authorization from his superiors to either bring the builders to prison or execute them. Consequently he left the builders tied to lamp posts in front of the facilities they had been building. Relieved that he didn't have to resort to a more drastic rescue, Carl snuck behind Patrick and released all the builders from their lamp post bondage mere minutes after their capture. This bazar cat and mouse game continued for the entire operation. Ultimately, the city facilities were built without a single casualty and the non-human population of Humbarine was left much wealthier.

In [[Year 23]] Carl led a band of pirates in capturing the [[Si`Klaata Cluster (System)|Si`Klaata Cluster]] from the [[Knights of the Fountain]] who, at the time, had recently joined the [[Imperial Union]]. The capture was accomplished by a daring plan to import billions of syphilitic Ugnaughts to the planet of [[Kintan]] at the urgent request of the [[Nikto]] people as reported in the GNS article [[Pirates Plunder Imperial Union System]]. This mass importation of Ugnaughts was poorly thought through and lead to a food crisis, a housing crisis, and an STD crisis for [[Kintan]]. But in spite of this seemingly inexcusable blunder, the [[Eidola Pirates]] were able to retain control of the system and significantly improve its defenses.

In [[Year 25]] Carl performed a detailed, galaxy wide survey of Ugnaughts and it determined that Cantras Gola was the worst place to live in the entire galaxy for these undersized creatures. The main driver of this shocking result was that it was too cold and had very few urinals at an appropriate hight for Ugnaughts. This was leading to an unacceptable amount of Ugnaught shrinkage. Which of course is highly undesirable due to their natural lack of size. To unshrink the Ugnaughts Carl embarked on a long journey from Sevarcos to build the Ugnaughts acceptable dwellings and places of work with exclusively Ugnaught hight urinals. Unfortunately the local government responded poorly to Carl's well meaning facility construction with one government official threatening to "...wage open war on planetary surfaces & simply destroy all you have built.". In spite of these headwinds, Carl and his builders were able to complete the construction of a full city of hotels, offices and taverns, all with Ugnaught hight urinals for the population of Cantras Gola.

In [[Year 25]] Carl lead a group of pirates to [[Derra]] to engage in a daring raid of shipping in the system in which they successfully absconded with over 1,100 items, imperial technology, lightsaber parts valued in the hundreds of millions of credits and destroyed assets valued at over one billion credits, as reported in [[Breaking News from Derra: Stolen hats, a battle in Syn’s Mom, and a murder solved]]. The pirates were able to accomplish this feat in spite of the Rebellion's claims that they had brought order to [[Derra]], which has been long plagued by violence. The battles with the Rebel forces were fierce and the Eidolans were badly out gunned. However, the pirates were able to effectively use hit and fade tactics to avoid the bulk of the Rebel fleet. The pirates also took advantage of the sensor shielding properties of [[Derra IV]] and extensively looted the famed "Outbreak Response" city.

Upon talking to a survivor they found floating in an escape pod it seemed that everyone had fled to the surface of the planet [[Derra IV]] to Outbreak Response city. The pirates followed the hapless citizens of [[Derra]] to the surface and proceeded to capture 22 ships, over 50 vehicles, and hundreds of items. At the conclusion of the raid Syn and Carl disabled and stormed a Jedi corvette and did battle with the Jedi: George O'Rouke and his 40 armed guards. O'Rouke and his guards were no match for the fearless and clothe-less [[Syn]] and Carl and fled before their onslaught. In [[Year 27]] Carl got a tip from a deep sleeper agent that Zann had found a hidden system. In fact this system was so recently found that Zann had not yet been able to claim control of the system. Unfortunately for Carl, the festivities surrounding the [[Squall Chitose]] retirement party had all of Eidola drunk in Hutt Space while the new system was across the galaxy, near Sevarcos. As widely reported in [[Giant Squabeliks and Secret Agents: How Khuiumin Turned Into a War Zone]] Carl ultimately decided it was best to tip off the [[New Republic]] as they were in position to take the system from Zann. And hence, Carl started the [[War for Khuiumin]]. Carl fought in this ensuing conflict and was found in every phase of the battle. He drew first blood by attacking Zann in the [[Hibridium Kestrel]] before any of the NR forces arrived, and then joined the NR's attempt to break the blockade around the planets. Carl recklessly charged down the gravity well in the Fury class corvette [[Terror of Tamarin]] and was among the first wave of attackers who broke through. After the fierce fighting to break through the blockade in which Carl demonstrated his expert flying abilities Carl made it to the ground and engaged in ground combat.

At the time, the [[Great Science Feud]] was in full swing, and the Twilight Foundation faction that Carl had chosen to join needed Draigon scales for scientific purposes. After Carl and his band emerged victorious from their battle with the Draigons, Carl stumbled across a mysterious egg lying near the battlefield. He brought the egg back to his ship and cared for it until it hatched. He was delighted to discover that the egg contained a baby Draigon. Norbert and Carl have been close friends ever since, often hunting together to hone their combat skills, and consequently, Norbert has developed into an expert combatant. Norbert has even made several appearances in the Death Hunt as one of the few creatures who regularly participates. "Norbert's Den" on the [[Widowmaker]] is a massive room designed specifically to cater to the needs and wants of a Draigon with comforts such as imitation mountainous terrain and porgs for Norbert's hunting entertainment. Norbert's Den is also where Norbert keeps some of his own prized possessions.

Carl has an elite fighting crew of pirates who function as shock troops for boarding ships, body guards, and assassins. Carl met him at a seedy tavern on the planet and, upon realization of Locke's abilities, quickly offered Locke a small fortune to come work for him. Unfortunately, the combat which had lead to Locke's injuries also had catastrophically damaged Locke's arm. Carl and a team of trusted surgeons oversaw the replacement of Locke's arm with a cybernetic which has dramatically increased Locke's strength and allowed him to fully recover from the wounds he sustained. The Corsairs consist of several squads of highly trained snipers, sharp shooters, vibroblade experts, and unarmed brawlers. Norbert the Draigon has also been known to fight along side the Corsairs and even aided the Corsairs in the capture of a bandit corvette in [[Year 22]].

Following the discovery of the [[Khuiumin]] system by Captain [[Krodo Rask]] of the [[Eyttyrmin Batiiv Pirates]], the Rebellion received intelligence on the pirates' intent to settle the system. Due to the proximity of Khuiumin to territory under control of the Rebellion, select Rebel Commanders decided that their groups would attempt to deny these settlement attempts. These Rebels formed the [[Kumquat Coalition]] and informed the Galaxy of the existance of Khuiumin System and intent to contest. Local [[Eidola]] pirates joined forces with the Kumquat Coalition and engaged the [[Shadow Dominion]], who rallied in support of [[Son-Tuul Pride]] and the [[Eyttyrmin Batiiv Pirates]]. In a lengthy space battle lasting from Day 106 to Day 108, the space forces of the [[Shadow Dominion]] were defeated.

The appearance of [[Corliss & Co.]], a member of the [[Hydian Expanse]], was harbinger of the events to unfold: The arriving forces of the Hydian Expanse and [[Imperial Union]] led to a complex political situation. Powers opposing each other in the [[Galactic Civil War]] and neutrals agreed on the Truce of Khuiumin. Allowing for the systems' complete lockdown and blockade, the Shadow Dominion was ousted and secured the system for Corliss & Co. of the Hydian Expanse. The truce was later broken by [[Havoc Squad]], who opened fire on Rebel units shortly before leaving the system.

In an assessment, the War for Khuiumin yields interesting perspectives. The Shadow Dominion was not able to contest the power of the Kumquat Coalition in open battle. This held all the more so after the arrival of major [[Hydian Expanse]] and [[Imperial Union]] forces. The Kumquat Coalition, the Hydian Expanse and the Imperial Union, representing the three major blocks either opposing each other and neutral in the [[Galactic Civil War]], were united in their interest to fight the pirates.
Subsequent complex political maneuvering and ultimately the Truce of Khuiumin allowed a sustainable system blockade to establish [[Corliss & Co.]] as ruling power of the system. Despite this achievement, the anti-piracy coalition failed to prevent Khagan Shalas and his pirates from escaping Khuiumin and thus, punishment. The Son-Tuul Pride sold its Khuiumin holdings to the [[Blue Star Dominion]], an otherwise uninvolved Rebel government, leading the [[Hydian Expanse]] to change its diplomatic status with the Dominion. The escape and survival of Khagan Shalas allowed the [[Son-Tuul Pride]] to restyle as the [[Eternal Empire]].

The Khuiumin system is discovered by chance by a small group of Eyttyrmin Batiiv pirates led by Captain Krodo Rask. Following the discovery, Captain Rask sends a signal to Khagan Bork Shalas, requesting immediate assistance from the Son-Tuul Pride in conquering the system. The Son-Tuul Pride heeds that call and sends its hordes. The explorers initially focus on conquering the planet Courkrus as quickly as possible. Two days later, the Hordes of the Pride eagerly arrive. The Leaders of the Rebellion are informed of the discovery of the Khuiumin system at 10:00 CGT. Following a brief assessment of the available intelligence and taking political and strategic considerations into account, the Rebellion decides to establish an ad hoc Organisation. The Kumquat Coalition is formed with the aim of disrupting pirate activities in the Khuiumin sector and, ideally, preventing the pirates from establishing a strategic base there. Following this decision, the [[The Resistance|Resistance]], the [[The Jedi Order|Jedi Order]], [[-ARK-]], [[TIEFE]] and [[Rogue Squadron]] and [[Total Outer Rim]] announce an immediate response and deploy their own forces.

A-Wings from Rogue Squadron are conducting combat reconnaissance flights near the planet Courkrus when they come under attack from Eyttyrmin Batiiv Raider-class corvette 'Prydwen'. Under the coordination of Grand Admiral Azzameen and leadership of Master Memnoch, the Total Outer Rim begins constructing defence stations at tactically important locations. Son-Tuul Pride is countering Total Outer Rim by setting up relay stations, which, according to a rebel intelligence service, may at a later date be replaced by the pirates with as of yet unknown weapons. Under the command of Banner-Prätor Blot Hlidskjalf, TIEFE is joining forces with Total Outer Rim to expand the system’s defences. It was also reported to the Kumquat Coalition via rebel intelligence, that the Hydian Expanse was on its way to Khuiumin.

A TIEFE Kaloth-class frigate and -ARK- Fury-class corvette join KMG and Eidolon forces, while TIEFE, RS and TOR continue system defense construction operations. TIEFE manages to place a Golan II station around 14:15 CGT covering the Khuiumin northeastern hyperspace entry. Corliss & Co. forces conduct planetary reconnaissance while preparing for ground combat and combat engineering operations on the planet of Courkrus. Separatist Intelligence uncovers information of raw materials being mined and shipped to Khuiumin by the Subduco Syndicate in support of the Son-Tuul Pride: subsequently, Seperatist Intelligence operatives manage to cancel all mining operations disrupting these raw material supplies.

Thus, the pirates engage the forces of the Kumquat Coalition and neutrals entering the system alike, with multiple skirmishes occuring at all system hyperspace entry points. Meanwhile, the pirates successfully manage to establish initial beachheads and construct defensive perimeters on the planets of Courkrus, Khuiumin II, Khuiumin III and the moon Courkrus B. In a coordinated Eidolon and Kumquat Coalition effort, Warlord [[Carl Warrington]] and Jedi Master Thragg Craghorn attempt to break through the pirate defensive lines of Khuiumin III and establish a beachhead themselves around 16:15 CGT. Four and a half hours later, the system control is updated by the Bureau to [[Son-Tuul Pride]] with a simultaneous update to Khuiumin III, which the pirates brought under their control. Courkrus A is also reported to be secured by the pirates. [[The Exchange]] and [[Triumvirate Coalition]] forces arrive, reinforcing the Kumquat Coalition. Frigate sized vessels of the Unnamed Imperium and the Bounty Hunters Guild, shortly after to be shown linked to the pirates, appear at a rendezvouz point near Khuiumin. Around 09:00?? CGT, the space [[Battle of Khuiumin]] erupts above Courkrus, with Kumquat forces under the overall command of Master Falte. A Jedi Order CR-90 corvette and an Eidola ground detachment make successful landfall on Courkrus. Roughly at 10:00 CGT, the Khuiumin system's proper registration with the Galactic Census Bureau has been completed and the system was broadcast via the Galactic News Service. Following the withdrawal of their combat engineering troops, an assault fleet from the [[Total Outer Rim]] joins the space battle, and the fighting subsides later that day with the remaining pirate space forces either destroyed or forced out of the system. Around 16:30 CGT, forces from the Hydian Expanse take up their combat positions in the Khuiumin system. Quickly, rapport is established between the Hydian Expanse and the Kumquat Coalition to jointly deny the Shadow Dominion Khuiumin and support Corliss & Co. in their quest for the system. The Kumquat Coalition joins ground combat operations, targeting pirate beachheads and landborne pirate spacecraft. General Descartes, now personally leading a ground assault unit, comes under heavy enemy fire and looses consciousness as a result of the injuries he had sustained whilst covering the retreat of his own troops. Badly wounded, he was later medivacced by arriving reinforcements. With ground operations proceeding, established space dominance and the arrival the [[Hydian Expanse|Hydian Forces]], the Kumquat Coalition officially switches strategic plans for the system from denying the [[Shadow Dominion]] control to holding position to allow [[Corliss & Co.]] to take the system. Thus, the Hydian Expanse and the Kumquat Coalition implement the Blockade of Khuiumin. They are backed by contingents of the Restored Empire, few independent mercenaries and the meanwhile arrived Pentastar Alignment. The arrival of [[Imperial Union]] forces in the Khuiumin system marks a significant change to the overall situation. It directly lead to the negotiation of the Truce of Khuiumin by all anti-pirate parties. Moreover, it forced the implementation of an exclusion zone by the Kumquat Coalition and the Hydian Expanse, in order to avoid complex political situations involving parties otherwise adversarial in the Galactic Civil War.
As a direct result of the allied planetary ground operations focusing on search and destroy, as well as the space blockade, the pirate forces of the Shadow Dominion become almost trapped on Courkrus. The pirates, chased by Corliss & Co. and Kumquat forces, attempt to avoid entrapment but become engaged in a firefight during which [[Galen McGruff]] is incapacitated by a Corliss unit under [[Sol Kerrelan]]. During a changing of the guard under command of the Hydian Expanse, at least 14 ranking pirates of the [[Shadow Dominion]] manage to break through the blockade and exfiltrate the planet Courkrus aboard their last remaining ship. However, they leave [[Bork Shalas]], who launched a suprise attack against the anti-piracy coalition in order to create a diversion, [[Nikolaj Eyre]] and a small band of pirates behind <ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49138 The Khuiumin Survivors - From the Log of Captain Krodo Rask]</ref>. Khagan Shalas and his pirates subsequently continue their fight using ambushes and sporadic attacks with the anti-piracy coalition until they are rescued four days later on a third attempt.

On Day 112, an elaborate false flag operation at the behest of the Shadow Dominion to rescue their leader fails. [[Jawa Offworld Enterprises]] (JOE) exposed enemy agent Saiko Nagazi within its ranks, who was tasked with the rescue of Khagan Shalas. However, Nagazi's ship, transmitting unauthorized IFF keys, was intercepted by joint Kumquat and Hydian Expanse forces after entering the exclusion zone. Compeer [[Mika Noris]] personally conducted the inspection of the ship and took the enemy into custody; for operational reasons, the enemy was then interned on Courkrus A. The Son-Tuul Pride places a bounty of 750 million credits on Nagazi's rescue.

While this deal allowed Nikolaj Eyre to escape Courkrus in exchange for several entrenchments held by Eyre, it also enabled for Khagan Shalas and his remaining loyal pirates to be smuggled off the planet and through the exclusion zone enforced by the anti-piracy coalition. Fryst Ulfur transfers the obtained planetary holdings to [[Corliss & Co.]], including some on the moon Courkrus A. As a direct result, the forces of the anti-piracy coalition implement changes to their rules of engagement and increase alert readiness. Following the successful escape, the [[Shadow Dominion]] alters the ransom demands for its Khuiumin holdings and alleges a change of strategy from open battle to taking targeted action against the interests of the Rebels and [[Corliss & Co.]] in the region.

The [[Son-Tuul Pride]] and [[Blue Star Dominion]] successfully conclude negotiations, with the Dominion purchasing the Pride's holdings in the system. Subsequently, the Blue Star Dominion offers the purchased holdings to [[Corliss & Co.]], while the Hydian Expanse shifts its diplomatic stance towards the Blue Star Dominion in line with its previous declaration <ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49125 Priority message: Khuiumin]</ref>.
The Kumquat Coalition maintains blockade, but begins to prepare withdrawal from Khuiumin system having met its strategic and tactical objectives. On Day 118, during its own withdrawal from the Khuiumin system, Havoc Squad breaks the Truce of Khuiumin and opens fire on a Kumquat Coalition starship. Tresario Star Kingdom and Pentastar Alignment pledge to the truce and maintain a no-fire stance towards Kumquat Coalition. Two days later, the Pentastar Alignment also opens fire on a Kumquat Coalition vessel. However, contrary to an intended shot, TPA is claiming a weapons malfunction.

[[Zarkorious Valhazak]] from [[Stryker Military Services]], using fake credentials, is refused an unauthorised planetary approach of Courkrus A through the exclusion zone of Courkrus. The intelligence services of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Kumquat Coalition warn the leaders of the anti-piracy coalition of an imminent hostile attack threat on Khuiumin on Day 122. The following day, two invading Kaloth-class frigates belonging to the Bounty Hunters Guild are destroyed.

On Day 132 and 133 Courkrus planetary and moon control solidified for [[Corliss & Co.]], thus ending the blockade. The Kumquat Coalition departs from Khuiumin.

Carl Warrington was born and raised in a middle class family on [[Corellia]] and as soon as he learned to fly he left home to see what adventures awaited him as a freelance trader.

He spent many years as a freelancer and was heavily involved in galactic trade. He started by trading low value fighter craft and vehicles and slowly worked his way up to larger and rarer craft. One year into his trading career he was betrayed by a business associate and lost all of his slowly acquired fortune.

Left only with two cloakshape/H fighters he was forced to rebuild. While he continued to trade in fighters and vehicles he expanded the offerings of his store to include hidden system coordinates and stocks. Through the new focus of his business he was able to regain his lost fortune.

He competed in the second Kessel Run with [[Jeb`el Ras]] and came in second place. The winnings from this race was a [[YT-510]] freighter, the ''Rumors of War,'' which Carl still owns and uses as one of his primary transports.

After this point Carl continued his freelance trading career and amassed a small fleet along with numerous space stations and facilities.

Carl retired from trading and spent several years relaxing at his personal residence on [[Corellia (Planet)|Corellia]] before the thrill of making deals called him back to the galactic trading market. Upon his return, he found that the economy had changed significantly. Ships and vehicles were now being mass produced and margins were slim.

Not many years after Carl's return to the galactic stage, a new system called [[Drup (System)|Drup]] was discovered in the galactic south. Carl had been spending time as a freelance builder for a large mining faction and was in the area at the time the news of the system was made public. He rushed down to the surface of Drup II and founded a large number of cities.

The founding of the cities was partially funded by A`Zol Surek, a trading partner with whom Carl had done business previously. Carl and Zol started a production company named Warrington Surek Industrial, with which the two intended to use the newly founded cities as factory cities to produce products and small ships for the galactic south.

This venture was halted when Zol was captured by [[Zann Consortium|Zann]], and his 51% stake in WSI was turned over to them prior to his execution. As Zol had owned a majority share of the company, Carl was left holding a non-controlling stake with the treacherous Zann Consortium as a partner. Carl was strong-armed into a deal in which he would accept 10% of the earnings of WSI while Zann controlled the company and kept the remaining 90%.

However, time would tell that even this deal was too good to be true. Zann never honored its agreement. When Carl inquired about his payment, Zann feigned interest in paying Carl only to lure him onto one of their stations to capture him. Carl and [[Ximaro Jix]] did battle on ''The Anchorage'' in the [[Vaxal (System)|Vaxal]] system, and Carl overpowered his opponent, defeating him and escaping the trap.

The cities on Drup II were never sold throughout this fiasco, and Carl held them as a wildcard for future revenge against Zann. In [[Year 19]], Carl enlisted the help of his friend and fellow pirate, [[Argon Nightwish]], and together the pair snuck into the Drup system with Bulk Freighters laden with building materials and sick [[Ugnaught]] refugees. They spent several days building hundreds of hotels and other facilities in which the syphilitic Ugnaughts could live. This act of generosity was strongly opposed by Zann agents as the hotels would saturate the market and dramatically reduce the potential for Zann-owned hotels to earn income on the planet. Carl and Argon were able to outsmart their Zann opponents and all of the facilities were successfully produced for the migrant Ugnaughts. The story of this revenge has been reported extensively by the galactic news service in the article "[[A Syphilitic Situation on Drup II]]".

Carl was long a secret member of the Eidola Pirates, but came out publicly to complete his vision of a pirate hub for trading and business on [[Sevarcos X (Planet)|Sevarcos X]]. He has since completed the project, following which, [[Sevarcos X (Planet)|Sevarcos X]] became known as one of the largest pirate business centers in the galaxy. Since then, his planetary building and construction consulting endeavors have taken off, with Carl guiding various other planetary building operations within the [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]] system.

Carl specializes in planetary construction and building planning of both the legal and illegal variety. Known as a champion of the underdog, Carl has been known to take long breaks from building Eidola's infrastructure to aid struggling peoples throughout the galaxy. The building project on Drup II to aid syphilis infected Ugnaughts was one such venture.

Carl snuck into the system and covertly established a pirate training academy, military base, and significant defenses at this valuable forward base for Eidola raids on Imperial bacta shipments. It is rumored that Imperial slaves were used in the construction of this base. The Eidola base was constructed so quickly that it was long a thorn in the side of the Imperial bacta shipping and production despite the Empire's desires to eradicate the forward base.

While Rogue Squadron defended their world admirably and murdered many elderly Eidolans, ultimately they were unable to stop the flow of the Eidolan nudists. Later in [[Year 21]], Carl was informed that a racial minority within the Hoth system was struggling to find housing and was living in homelessness on the planet [[Biosh (Planet)|Biosh]]. He snuck past the system patrols and the shields of the planet itself and began the construction of nearly 100 hotels, offices, and taverns. The intent was to quickly make housing, jobs, and entertainment for the suffering minority population, however the locals bitterly opposed Carl’s attempt to aid the marginalized of Hoth. A group called "NIMBs" (Not In My Biosh) complained loudly and the magistrate of Biosh: Aks Olotl, quickly came to the aid of the NIMBs. Fortunately Carl and his builders had long experience in this sort of building and were able to complete the entire city with all its facilities in under a week. Aks Olotl's attempts to arrest builders and block Carl from guiding reinforcements was entirely unsuccessful due to Aks' near complete ineptitude in hand-to-hand combat.

On [[Year 22]] day 9 Carl was promoted to second in command of [[Eidola Pirates]] however he was not told of his promotion. He returned to his HQ station Ambush Point orbiting Sevarcos X to find Pirates strewn throughout the station in a drunken stupor. While drunkenness is normal and even encouraged in Eidola, the degree of inebriation was unusual. When he arrived at his office he found Argon Nightwish who informed Carl that he had missed both his own promotion ceremony and ensuing party because Syn forgot to inform Carl of the promotion and refused to invite Carl to the party. Argon next pointed Carl to the long list of tasks which Syn left on Carl’s desk outlining his new duties as second in command. As Carl read dubiously through the long list of expectations one of the drunks who had somehow accessed Carl’s office and was passed out on the floor looked up. It was Squall Chitose. Squall laughed when he saw Carl reading the list and slurred something that sounded like “sucker!” as he went back to his drunken dreams.

In [[Year 22]] Carl liberated 12 X-wing starfighters from the clutches of the [[Sith Imperium]] valued at the time at roughly 1.1 billion credits in a daring raid of the Golan II "Wirsaka Nadasja Andi" guarding [[Tamra (Planet)|Tamra]] in the [[Tamra (System)|Tamra]] system. Carl successful absconded with all of the X-Wing fighters so quietly that the Sith Imperium didn't notice the theft for weeks. Ultimately, while Carl attempted to reason with the Sith, they refused to provide Carl with the access codes to the fighters in spite of the fact that the X-wings were now hopelessly outside of Sith reach, hidden safely in Carl's stronghold in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]]. The fighters stayed with Carl's slicers in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]] where they worked to crack the access codes to these X-wings for nearly 4 years. When no progress was made, Carl brought the ships to [[Derra]] to consult with one of the galaxy's top code slicers in [[Year 26]]. After only three days, the codes for all 12 x-wings were in Carl's possession and he fired all of his code slicers back in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]]. This impulsive move caused significant economic turmoil in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]], as it was later realized, after the firings, that he had been employing nearly 10% of the population as code slicers.

In [[Year 22]] a population of oppressed non-humans on the [[Galactic Empire]] world of [[Humbarine (Planet)|Humbarine]] contacted Carl requesting economic relief from the oppression of the [[Galactic Empire]]. Carl agreed to smuggle the necessary materials past the Empire's patrols and bring an elite team of builders to construct a business district of sorts for these sentients in order to provide them with jobs and wealth. The details of this arrangement remain unclear, but it is rumored that Carl was compensated handsomely for this latest spat of illicit building. As Carl expected there was significant resistance from the Empire and soon many of his top builders were arrested. Unexpectedly the Empire's agent, [[Patrick Mueirech]], while quite savvy in arresting a large number of Carl's builders, apparently lacked the authorization from his superiors to either bring the builders to prison or execute them. Consequently he left the builders tied to lamp posts in front of the facilities they had been building. Relieved that he didn't have to resort to a more drastic rescue, Carl snuck behind Patrick and released all the builders from their lamp post bondage mere minutes after their capture. This bazar cat and mouse game continued for the entire operation. Ultimately, the city facilities were built without a single casualty and the non-human population of Humbarine was left much wealthier.

In [[Year 23]] Carl led a band of pirates in capturing the [[Si`Klaata Cluster (System)|Si`Klaata Cluster]] from the [[Knights of the Fountain]] who, at the time, had recently joined the [[Imperial Union]]. The capture was accomplished by a daring plan to import billions of syphilitic Ugnaughts to the planet of [[Kintan]] at the urgent request of the [[Nikto]] people as reported in the GNS article [[Pirates Plunder Imperial Union System]]. This mass importation of Ugnaughts was poorly thought through and lead to a food crisis, a housing crisis, and an STD crisis for [[Kintan]]. But in spite of this seemingly inexcusable blunder, the [[Eidola Pirates]] were able to retain control of the system and significantly improve its defenses.

In [[Year 25]] Carl performed a detailed, galaxy wide survey of Ugnaughts and it determined that Cantras Gola was the worst place to live in the entire galaxy for these undersized creatures. The main driver of this shocking result was that it was too cold and had very few urinals at an appropriate hight for Ugnaughts. This was leading to an unacceptable amount of Ugnaught shrinkage. Which of course is highly undesirable due to their natural lack of size. To unshrink the Ugnaughts Carl embarked on a long journey from Sevarcos to build the Ugnaughts acceptable dwellings and places of work with exclusively Ugnaught hight urinals. Unfortunately the local government responded poorly to Carl's well meaning facility construction with one government official threatening to "...wage open war on planetary surfaces & simply destroy all you have built.". In spite of these headwinds, Carl and his builders were able to complete the construction of a full city of hotels, offices and taverns, all with Ugnaught hight urinals for the population of Cantras Gola.

In [[Year 25]] Carl lead a group of pirates to [[Derra]] to engage in a daring raid of shipping in the system in which they successfully absconded with over 1,100 items, imperial technology, lightsaber parts valued in the hundreds of millions of credits and destroyed assets valued at over one billion credits, as reported in [[Breaking News from Derra: Stolen hats, a battle in Syn’s Mom, and a murder solved]]. The pirates were able to accomplish this feat in spite of the Rebellion's claims that they had brought order to [[Derra]], which has been long plagued by violence. The battles with the Rebel forces were fierce and the Eidolans were badly out gunned. However, the pirates were able to effectively use hit and fade tactics to avoid the bulk of the Rebel fleet. The pirates also took advantage of the sensor shielding properties of [[Derra IV]] and extensively looted the famed "Outbreak Response" city.

Upon talking to a survivor they found floating in an escape pod it seemed that everyone had fled to the surface of the planet [[Derra IV]] to Outbreak Response city. The pirates followed the hapless citizens of [[Derra]] to the surface and proceeded to capture 22 ships, over 50 vehicles, and hundreds of items. At the conclusion of the raid Syn and Carl disabled and stormed a Jedi corvette and did battle with the Jedi: George O'Rouke and his 40 armed guards. O'Rouke and his guards were no match for the fearless and clothe-less [[Syn]] and Carl and fled before their onslaught. In [[Year 27]] Carl got a tip from a deep sleeper agent that Zann had found a hidden system. In fact this system was so recently found that Zann had not yet been able to claim control of the system. Unfortunately for Carl, the festivities surrounding the [[Squall Chitose]] retirement party had all of Eidola drunk in Hutt Space while the new system was across the galaxy, near Sevarcos. As widely reported in [[Giant Squabeliks and Secret Agents: How Khuiumin Turned Into a War Zone]] Carl ultimately decided it was best to tip off the [[New Republic]] as they were in position to take the system from Zann. And hence, Carl started the [[War for Khuiumin]]. Carl fought in this ensuing conflict and was found in every phase of the battle. He drew first blood by attacking Zann in the [[Hibridium Kestrel]] before any of the NR forces arrived, and then joined the NR's attempt to break the blockade around the planets. Carl recklessly charged down the gravity well in the Fury class corvette [[Terror of Tamerin]] and was among the first wave of attackers who broke through. After the fierce fighting to break through the blockade in which Carl demonstrated his expert flying abilities Carl made it to the ground and engaged in ground combat.

Norbert has even made several appearances in the Death Hunt as one of the few creatures who regularly participates. The Corsairs consist of several squads of highly trained snipers, sharp shooters, vibroblade experts, and unarmed brawlers. Norbert the Draigon has also been known to fight along side the Corsairs and even aided the Corsairs in the capture of a bandit corvette in [[Year 22]].

[[Carl Warrington]]'s ship of choice when he is trying to keep a low profile as he travels between his various bases of operations is the Hibridium Kestrel. The Kestrel is a CR92 Corvette which looks identical to a more standard CR90 corvette. With this ship's ability to blend into the normal flow of intergalactic traffic, Carl has flown many a load of contraband weapons and wanted persons through the planetary security and even used the ship to great effect in his illicit building adventures. However, it would be a mistake to underestimate the Kestrel's firepower, the CR92 is heavily armed and defended while being incredibly fast for a ship of its size. Starting in Year 24 the ship was used to great effect to drive out several bandit infestations from the Tamarin Sector and has been heavily battle tested since that point.

The Hibridium Kestrel was also used to great effect in the [[War for Khuiumin]]. Carl entered the system initially with this ship when he arrived in system, using its stealth technology to scout unseen. He later engaged Zann forces with the ship and destroyed several. At one point, while trying to distract Zann forces from the main body of Rebel forces, Carl found himself hemmed in by Zann Kaloths including the Ravager and took two direct hits. However, the Hibridium Kestrel survived the battle and escaped with only minor scratches.

Following the discovery of the [[Khuiumin]] system by Captain [[Krodo Rask]] of the [[Eyttyrmin Batiiv Pirates]], the Rebellion received intelligence on the pirates' intent to settle the system. Due to the proximity of Khuiumin to territory under control of the Rebellion, select Rebel Commanders decided that their groups would attempt to deny these settlement attempts. These Rebels formed the [[Kumquat Coalition]] and informed the Galaxy of the existance of Khuiumin System and intent to contest. Local [[Eidola]] pirates joined forces with the Kumquat Coalition and engaged the [[Shadow Dominion]], who rallied in support of [[Son-Tuul Pride]] and the [[Eyttyrmin Batiiv Pirates]]. In a lengthy space battle lasting from Day 106 to Day 108, the space forces of the [[Shadow Dominion]] were defeated.

The appearance of [[Corliss & Co.]], a member of the [[Hydian Expanse]], was harbinger of the events to unfold: The arriving forces of the Hydian Expanse and [[Imperial Union]] led to a complex political situation. Powers opposing each other in the [[Galactic Civil War]] and neutrals agreed on the Truce of Khuiumin. Allowing for the systems' complete lockdown and blockade, the Shadow Dominion was ousted and secured the system for Corliss & Co. of the Hydian Expanse. The truce was later broken by [[Havoc Squad]], who opened fire on Rebel units shortly before leaving the system.

In an assessment, the War for Khuiumin yields interesting perspectives. The Shadow Dominion was not able to contest the power of the Kumquat Coalition in open battle. This held all the more so after the arrival of major [[Hydian Expanse]] and [[Imperial Union]] forces. The Kumquat Coalition, the Hydian Expanse and the Imperial Union, representing the three major blocks either opposing each other and neutral in the [[Galactic Civil War]], were united in their interest to fight the pirates.
Subsequent complex political maneuvering and ultimately the Truce of Khuiumin allowed a sustainable system blockade to establish [[Corliss & Co.]] as ruling power of the system. Despite this achievement, the anti-piracy coalition failed to prevent Khagan Shalas and his pirates from escaping Khuiumin and thus, punishment. The Son-Tuul Pride sold its Khuiumin holdings to the [[Blue Star Dominion]], an otherwise uninvolved Rebel government, leading the [[Hydian Expanse]] to change its diplomatic status with the Dominion. The escape and survival of Khagan Shalas allowed the [[Son-Tuul Pride]] to restyle as the [[Eternal Empire]].

The Khuiumin system is discovered by chance by a small group of Eyttyrmin Batiiv pirates led by Captain Krodo Rask. Following the discovery, Captain Rask sends a signal to Khagan Bork Shalas, requesting immediate assistance from the Son-Tuul Pride in conquering the system. The Son-Tuul Pride heeds that call and sends its hordes. The explorers initially focus on conquering the planet Courkrus as quickly as possible. Two days later, the Hordes of the Pride eagerly arrive. The Leaders of the Rebellion are informed of the discovery of the Khuiumin system at 10:00 CGT. Following a brief assessment of the available intelligence and taking political and strategic considerations into account, the Rebellion decides to establish an ad hoc Organisation. The Kumquat Coalition is formed with the aim of disrupting pirate activities in the Khuiumin sector and, ideally, preventing the pirates from establishing a strategic base there. Following this decision, the [[The Resistance|Resistance]], the [[The Jedi Order|Jedi Order]], [[-ARK-]], [[TIEFE]] and [[Rogue Squadron]] and [[Total Outer Rim]] announce an immediate response and deploy their own forces.

A-Wings from Rogue Squadron are conducting combat reconnaissance flights near the planet Courkrus when they come under attack from Eyttyrmin Batiiv Raider-class corvette 'Prydwen'. Under the coordination of Grand Admiral Azzameen and leadership of Master Memnoch, the Total Outer Rim begins constructing defence stations at tactically important locations. Son-Tuul Pride is countering Total Outer Rim by setting up relay stations, which, according to a rebel intelligence service, may at a later date be replaced by the pirates with as of yet unknown weapons. Under the command of Banner-Prätor Blot Hlidskjalf, TIEFE is joining forces with Total Outer Rim to expand the system’s defences. It was also reported to the Kumquat Coalition via rebel intelligence, that the Hydian Expanse was on its way to Khuiumin.

[[Kolohe Mining Group MK2]] Corona-class frigates and [[Eidola|Eidolon]] corvettes, including the rare CR92 Battle Corvette [[Hibridium Kestrel]] commanded by Warlord Warrington, engage the STP pirates in a skirmish. A TIEFE Kaloth-class frigate and -ARK- Fury-class corvette join KMG and Eidolon forces, while TIEFE, RS and TOR continue system defense construction operations. TIEFE manages to place a Golan II station around 14:15 CGT covering the Khuiumin northeastern hyperspace entry. Corliss & Co. forces conduct planetary reconnaissance while preparing for ground combat and combat engineering operations on the planet of Courkrus. Separatist Intelligence uncovers information of raw materials being mined and shipped to Khuiumin by the Subduco Syndicate in support of the Son-Tuul Pride: subsequently, Seperatist Intelligence operatives manage to cancel all mining operations disrupting these raw material supplies.

Son-Tuul Pride Kaloth-class frigates 'Fenrir #5' and 'Ravager #14' and Eyttyrmin Batiiv Corona-class frigates 'Crimson Cutlass' and 'Smoking Flintlock', supported by Raider-class corvettes, a variety of gunboats and a sizeable wing of Toscan 8-Q, BTL-S3 Y-wing and Star Saber XC-01 MkII Starfighters, attempt to hold space superiority. Thus, the pirates engage the forces of the Kumquat Coalition and neutrals entering the system alike, with multiple skirmishes occuring at all system hyperspace entry points. Meanwhile, the pirates successfully manage to establish initial beachheads and construct defensive perimeters on the planets of Courkrus, Khuiumin II, Khuiumin III and the moon Courkrus B. In a coordinated Eidolon and Kumquat Coalition effort, Warlord Carl Warrington and Jedi Master Thragg Craghorn attempt to break through the pirate defensive lines of Khuiumin III and establish a beachhead themselves around 16:15 CGT. Notably, this operation is prevented by the Son-Tuul Pride <ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49160 Giant Squabeliks and Secret Agents: How Khuiumin Turned Into a War Zone]</ref>. During the fighting, a TOR Mammoth-class Heavy Hauler is utilized to initiate construction of a heavy Golan II station on the systems southern hyperspace entry point. Kumquat stationary system defense operations conclude successfully with the placement of that station and the TOR combat engineers withdraw from the system. The Krath arrives and conducts system reconnaisance using ATR spacecraft. Later the day, most space combat operations shifted towards the western hyperspace entry point and Kumquat Coalition forces fight side by side with [[Corliss & Co.]], under the command of [[Sol Kerrelan]], aboard the 'Shadow Ledger' flight of ATR-6 Assault Transports and Corona-class frigate 'Mandate of the Board'.

Kumquat Coalition Intelligence notes that the Galactic Census Bureau updates records for Khuiumin system around 01:30 CGT. The increasing population, but without governmental acclamation, is testament to the activities of the Shadow Dominion. Four and a half hours later, the system control is updated by the Bureau to [[Son-Tuul Pride]] with a simultaneous update to Khuiumin III, which the pirates brought under their control. Courkrus A is also reported to be secured by the pirates. [[The Exchange]] and [[Triumvirate Coalition]] forces arrive, reinforcing the Kumquat Coalition. Frigate sized vessels of the Unnamed Imperium and the Bounty Hunters Guild, shortly after to be shown linked to the pirates, appear at a rendezvouz point near Khuiumin. Around 09:00?? CGT, the space [[Battle of Khuiumin]] erupts above Courkrus, with Kumquat forces under the overall command of Master Falte. A Jedi Order CR-90 corvette and an Eidola ground detachment make successful landfall on Courkrus. Roughly at 10:00 CGT, the Khuiumin system's proper registration with the Galactic Census Bureau has been completed and the system was broadcast via the Galactic News Service. Following the withdrawal of their combat engineering troops, an assault fleet from the [[Total Outer Rim]] joins the space battle, and the fighting subsides later that day with the remaining pirate space forces either destroyed or forced out of the system. Following the destruction of pirate spacecraft, the Kumquat Coalition observes unexplainable pirate Escape Pod flight patterns. Kumquat forces from now on hold the system space, and systematically begin establishing Courkrus atmospheric control, while allied forces begin to clear Courkrus planet of hostile presence in focused search and destroy operations. These include notorious pirate Warlord Carl Warrington and [[Corliss & Co.]] led by [[Uldric Corliss]] himself, who commence construction operations to contest Courkrus planetary control from the Shadow Dominion.

The main forces of the [[Confederacy of Independent Systems]] and the bulk of the [[Hydian Expanse]] arrive to the Khuiumin area of operations. Around 16:30 CGT, forces from the Hydian Expanse take up their combat positions in the Khuiumin system. Quickly, rapport is established between the Hydian Expanse and the Kumquat Coalition to jointly deny the Shadow Dominion Khuiumin and support Corliss & Co. in their quest for the system. The Kumquat Coalition joins ground combat operations, targeting pirate beachheads and landborne pirate spacecraft. General Descartes, now personally leading a ground assault unit, comes under heavy enemy fire and looses consciousness as a result of the injuries he had sustained whilst covering the retreat of his own troops. Badly wounded, he was later medivacced by arriving reinforcements. Eidolon and Rogue Squadron combat engineers and ground troops support Corliss construction operations on the eastern sectors of Courkrus in order to contest planetary control <ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49160 Giant Squabeliks and Secret Agents: How Khuiumin Turned Into a War Zone]</ref>. Meanwhile, TIEFE and TOR frigates enforce the Courkrus planetary blockade. Anecdotally, the Pirate Warlord Warrington and the Rebel Admiral Azzameen, former adversaries at [[Elder_Dumping:_Breaking_News_from_the_Bes_System|Bes]], shake hands on a remote spot in the wilderness of Courkrus. The Hydian Expanse and the Kumquat Coalition both are reporting further pirate Escape Pod performing unexplainable maneuvres, which are ultimately converging towards the surface of Courkrus. The stranded pirates become trapped under the anti-piracy coalitions' blockade.

With ground operations proceeding, established space dominance and the arrival the [[Hydian Expanse|Hydian Forces]], the Kumquat Coalition officially switches strategic plans for the system from denying the [[Shadow Dominion]] control to holding position to allow [[Corliss & Co.]] to take the system. Thus, the Hydian Expanse and the Kumquat Coalition implement the Blockade of Khuiumin. They are backed by contingents of the Restored Empire, few independent mercenaries and the meanwhile arrived Pentastar Alignment. The arrival of [[Imperial Union]] forces in the Khuiumin system marks a significant change to the overall situation. It directly lead to the negotiation of the Truce of Khuiumin by all anti-pirate parties. Moreover, it forced the implementation of an exclusion zone by the Kumquat Coalition and the Hydian Expanse, in order to avoid complex political situations involving parties otherwise adversarial in the Galactic Civil War.
As a direct result of the allied planetary ground operations focusing on search and destroy, as well as the space blockade, the pirate forces of the Shadow Dominion become almost trapped on Courkrus. The pirates, chased by Corliss & Co. and Kumquat forces, attempt to avoid entrapment but become engaged in a firefight during which [[Galen McGruff]] is incapacitated by a Corliss unit under [[Sol Kerrelan]]. Khagan Shalas, covered by a complement of his own battle droids, manages to provide first aid under heavy fire, thus securing McGruffs escape <ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49138 The Khuiumin Survivors - From the Log of Captain Krodo Rask]</ref>. While the allied forces miss to destroy the last pirate vessel, Khagan Shalas offers surrender for free passage for his people to the Hydian Expanse. This offer, although ultimately overcome by the events to unfold, was received with notable respect amongst the leadership of the anti-piracy coalition.

In the final hours of the day, a [[Tresario Star Kingdom]] Kaloth-class leaves hyperspace and reinforces the Imperial Union's presence at Khuiumin.

Unrelated to the ongoing battle, trade negotiations between the Son-Tuul Pride and [[Blue Star Dominion]] begin for the former's holdings in the Khuiumin system.

During a changing of the guard under command of the Hydian Expanse, at least 14 ranking pirates of the [[Shadow Dominion]] manage to break through the blockade and exfiltrate the planet Courkrus aboard their last remaining ship. However, they leave [[Bork Shalas]], who launched a suprise attack against the anti-piracy coalition in order to create a diversion, [[Nikolaj Eyre]] and a small band of pirates behind <ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49138 The Khuiumin Survivors - From the Log of Captain Krodo Rask]</ref>. Khagan Shalas and his pirates subsequently continue their fight using ambushes and sporadic attacks with the anti-piracy coalition until they are rescued four days later on a third attempt.

On Day 112, an elaborate false flag operation at the behest of the Shadow Dominion to rescue their leader fails. [[Jawa Offworld Enterprises]] (JOE) exposed enemy agent Saiko Nagazi within its ranks, who was tasked with the rescue of Khagan Shalas. However, Nagazi's ship, transmitting unauthorized IFF keys, was intercepted by joint Kumquat and Hydian Expanse forces after entering the exclusion zone. Compeer [[Mika Noris]] personally conducted the inspection of the ship and took the enemy into custody; for operational reasons, the enemy was then interned on Courkrus A. The Son-Tuul Pride places a bounty of 750 million credits on Nagazi's rescue.

While this deal allowed Nikolaj Eyre to escape Courkrus in exchange for several entrenchments held by Eyre, it also enabled for Khagan Shalas and his remaining loyal pirates to be smuggled off the planet and through the exclusion zone enforced by the anti-piracy coalition. Fryst Ulfur transfers the obtained planetary holdings to [[Corliss & Co.]], including some on the moon Courkrus A. As a direct result, the forces of the anti-piracy coalition implement changes to their rules of engagement and increase alert readiness. Following the successful escape, the [[Shadow Dominion]] alters the ransom demands for its Khuiumin holdings and alleges a change of strategy from open battle to taking targeted action against the interests of the Rebels and [[Corliss & Co.]] in the region.

The [[Son-Tuul Pride]] and [[Blue Star Dominion]] successfully conclude negotiations, with the Dominion purchasing the Pride's holdings in the system. Subsequently, the Blue Star Dominion offers the purchased holdings to [[Corliss & Co.]], while the Hydian Expanse shifts its diplomatic stance towards the Blue Star Dominion in line with its previous declaration <ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49125 Priority message: Khuiumin]</ref>.
The Kumquat Coalition maintains blockade, but begins to prepare withdrawal from Khuiumin system having met its strategic and tactical objectives. On Day 118, during its own withdrawal from the Khuiumin system, Havoc Squad breaks the Truce of Khuiumin and opens fire on a Kumquat Coalition starship. Tresario Star Kingdom and Pentastar Alignment pledge to the truce and maintain a no-fire stance towards Kumquat Coalition. Two days later, the Pentastar Alignment also opens fire on a Kumquat Coalition vessel. However, contrary to an intended shot, TPA is claiming a weapons malfunction.

[[Zarkorious Valhazak]] from [[Stryker Military Services]], using fake credentials, is refused an unauthorised planetary approach of Courkrus A through the exclusion zone of Courkrus. The intelligence services of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Kumquat Coalition warn the leaders of the anti-piracy coalition of an imminent hostile attack threat on Khuiumin on Day 122. The following day, two invading Kaloth-class frigates belonging to the Bounty Hunters Guild are destroyed.

On Day 127 the [[Jawa Offworld Enterprises]] arrives to Khuiumin system reinforcing Kumquat Coalition forces, having concluded hosting the 21st Tatooine Swap Meet. The following days, some arriving smugglers are deterred from entering the system by Hydian Expanse forces.
On Day 131, Son-Tuul Pride restyles itself Eternal Empire <ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49149 Our Chains are Broken...]</ref><ref>[https://www.swcombine.com/community/news/display.php?postID=49165 The War Rages ]</ref>. Shortly thereafter, Saiko Nagazi is released from Courkrus A exchange by [[Corliss & Co.]] as part of a prisoner exchange. On Day 132 and 133 Courkrus planetary and moon control solidified for [[Corliss & Co.]], thus ending the blockade. The Kumquat Coalition departs from Khuiumin.

Much later, Saiko Nagazi is revealed a JOE double agent and labelled a traitor by the Eternal Empire.

[[Carl Warrington]]'s ship of choice when he is trying to keep a low profile as he travels between his various bases of operations is the Hibridium Kestrel. The Kestrel is a CR92 Corvette which looks identical to a more standard CR90 corvette. With this ship's ability to blend into the normal flow of intergalactic traffic, Carl has flown many a load of contraband weapons and wanted persons through the planetary security and even used the ship to great effect in his illicit building adventures. However, it would be a mistake to underestimate the Kestrel's firepower, the CR92 is heavily armed and defended while being incredibly fast for a ship of its size. Starting in Year 24 the ship was used to great effect to drive out several bandit infestations from the Tamarin Sector.

The Hibridium Kestrel was also used to great effect in the [[War for Khuiumin]]. Carl entered the system initially with this ship when he arrived in system, using its stealth technology to scout unseen. He later engaged Zann forces with the ship and destroyed several. At one point, while trying to distract Zann forces from the main body of Rebel forces, Carl found himself hemmed in by Zann Kaloths including the Ravager and took two direct hits. However, the Hibridium Kestrel survived the battle and escaped with only minor scratches.

Investigative journalist Euna Miriel, fresh off her award-winning investigation of Squall’s Rancor Plan-B medication story, has stumbled upon yet another shocking discovery. Here at Eidola News Network, we are exclusively breaking the scandalous and confusing story of how Khuiumin became a warzone.

A fuzzy hologram recovered from Year 27, Day 102 allegedly showed Carl Warrington receiving a tip from a deep-cover Eidola agent known only as "Blue Ass." A hologram in the hologram revealed that the Shadow Dominion, a clique of miscreants who used to be the Zann Consortium, had discovered a shiny new system called Khuiumin in its eponymous sector. What’s more, a hologram in the hologram in the hologram betrayed that Carl inexplicably leaked this information to the New Republic. How deep does the hologram squall hole go?

This startling about-face in foreign policy bewildered many at ENN. After all, Carl had previously helped lead actions against the Rebels—like the time Jake Azzameen turned an Eidolan elderly nudist colony into a slaughterhouse at Bes, or the more recent unpleasant hat drama at Derra. So why the sudden cooperation?

The answer, it turns out, probably made sense to Warrington but likely no other rational being. At the time of the discovery, Carl was relaxing in Sevarcos with Argon Nightwish while the rest of Eidola was still binge-drinking in Hutt Space, celebrating Squall Chitose’s retirement. Upon realizing where exactly Khuiumin was located, Warrington ascertained that a Zann-controlled planet that close to his home would mean poorly maintained shrubbery and stray pet fecal matter drifting into Sevarcos. Unable to countenance the prospect of such filth and disarray, Carl declared, "Absolutely not."

Always the opportunist as a good Eidolan should be, Carl realized this “problem” could also be a chance to achieve something great to honor his dear friend Squall. Specifically, enormous obelisks Warrington would call Squabeliks—towering, fully anatomically correct tributes to the "mighty implement" that once allegedly infected a million Ugnaughts with syphilis. The only problem? Eidola territory was already so overbuilt (mostly due to Carl’s questionable building practices) and there wasn't room left for even one properly proportioned Squabelik.

Khuiumin was the perfect canvas for just such a grand project. Carl reportedly exclaimed, "New system equals new real estate equals room for my giant Squabeliks!" However, his dream project would remain in serious jeopardy on account of Zann's violent reaction to his last construction project on Drup II, the result of which was an unfortunate accidental avalanche of Ugnaught feces. Warrington knew he needed allies, so he called the Rebels and tattled on Zann in hopes that he could claim some land to build his Squabeliks.

Upon Carl’s arrival in Khuiumin, the Shadow Dominion was already busy invading the system, building stations and landing reprobates on its planets and moons. A council of war quickly formed consisting of Rebel forces, a Jawa coordinating committee, the Eidola Pirates, Corliss & Co., and the Hydian Expanse. It was decided that since Corliss & Co. brought actual competent firepower and needed territory, everyone would team up to pry the system away from Zann.

After some preliminary naval skirmishes (in which Carl and Argon Nightwish somehow fought alongside the Rebels without immediately shooting each other), the group realized they needed boots on the ground. Warrington and Thragg Craghorn made the first daring run at Khuiumin III but were “absolutely shredded.” They limped away with their fighter screens in tatters and the planet was officially lost to Zann the next day. However, Courkrus, the largest planet in the system and key to the system, remained to be claimed.

The following morning, Carl, Thragg, and Qijin Aurelius made another mad dash down the gravity well of Courkrus. The Zann gunners focused heavily on Carl in his Fury, The Terror of Tamerin, turning his U-wing screen into expensive scrap. Realizing he was one lucky shot away from becoming space dust, Warrington played heroic decoy—holding position until his shields were gone and his last U-wing exploded, just long enough for Thragg and Qijin to slip through to the surface.

Carl then looped back, swapped his shredded escorts for A-wings from his personal Corsair Squadron, re-filled his bourbon stocks, and charged again like a drunken pirate who had nothing left to lose (and a lot of giant statues to build). While Carl was totally inebriated, his A-wing pilots were not and the nimble A-wings danced through the fire while Carl finally made planetfall with only minor losses. He immediately bolted for the ocean to start building floating cities from which Eidolans could "pillage and plunder Zann", a move heartily endorsed by ENN because nothing says “pirate strategy” like hoping your real estate project develops a navy.

While many have reported that this impromptu Eidola-Rebel alliance went shockingly smoothly, Euna uncovered the truth: Argon Nightwish, aboard the mighty MTC Gestational Carrier :-, managed to annoy the Rebels so thoroughly that they opened fire on him. The exact reason remains unclear, but thankfully Eidola's most “respectable” pirate, Artemis de Chatillon, arrived just in time to smooth things over with his usual charm and suave demeanor.

Art and Argon, along with the ENN news van and the newly arrived Pirate Queen Syn, then proceeded to patrol and fight in their signature style—undisciplined, haphazard, and somehow still effective—while Carl was planetside. There, he suffered a major tactical disappointment when he learned his trusty Purrgils couldn't swim. Shocked and appalled by the existence of non-aquatic space whales, Carl was forced to pivot to a land invasion.

At this point the Bounty Hunter’s Guild appeared to have tracked down Thragg in what looked suspiciously like an attempt to broadcast Warrington’s and Craghorn's location to Zann. So Carl did what any self-respecting pirate would do: he secretly fled east and successfully founded pirate havens in the planet's northeast. With Argon Nightwish's help, these settlements housed the local drunken resistance. In the end, it was the inebriated population of Carl's hastily built cities that overthrew Zann, plunging the planet back into glorious chaos—which Corliss & Co. happily capitalized on.

Khuiumin was saved. Giant Squabeliks are in our future, and once again the Eidola Pirates have proven that being a chaotic mess is no barrier to victory.

Long a staple of Carl's fleet and formerly Carl's flagship is the Veltraa-class Cruiser: Widowmaker. This ship's history is not fully known; however, it is suspected that Squall Chitose of the Eidola Pirates originally purchased the ship from Tycho Celchu. The Widowmaker long remained in Eidola's inventory unused. It was held on Asher I until Taranjeek O`Cuinn purchased it from Eidola and was able to bring the vessel to space. Carl then purchased it from Taranjeek.

At the Seventh Uli-ah Gafsa Memorial Swap Meet, Carl joined the large number of Eidolan attendees in the festivities of the meet. It was here that he first unveiled that for years he had been distilling his own bourbon on his flagship. He offered this beverage to numerous sentients at the meet, including one Gyra Fallon who had wandered aboard the Widowmaker in search of the bourbon. Unfortunately for Gyra, the drink was quite strong and she found herself unable to find her way out. Fortunately for her, Carl's pet Draigon, "Norbert," took a personal interest in nursing her back to health. She now resides in Norbert's den on board the Widowmaker. The reporting of this event can be found GNS articles "Celebrating the Seventh Swap Meet" and "Seventh Swap Swan Song."

The Widowmaker is known for having a full bourbon distilling, aging, and bottling operation on the first deck. Carl's bourbons are sold exclusively at the "War's End Tavern" in the lower nose of the Widowmaker. The bourbon that is distilled here is galaxy-renowned and Carl has been known to gift it to friends as well as planetary authorities who need some "convincing."

Carl Warrington was born and raised in a middle class family on [[Corellia]] and as soon as he learned to fly he left home to see what adventures awaited him as a freelance trader.

He spent many years as a freelancer and was heavily involved in galactic trade. He started by trading low value fighter craft and vehicles and slowly worked his way up to larger and rarer craft. One year into his trading career he was betrayed by a business associate and lost all of his slowly acquired fortune.

Left only with two cloakshape/H fighters he was forced to rebuild. While he continued to trade in fighters and vehicles he expanded the offerings of his store to include hidden system coordinates and stocks. Through the new focus of his business he was able to regain his lost fortune.

He competed in the second Kessel Run with [[Jeb`el Ras]] and came in second place. The winnings from this race was a [[YT-510]] freighter, the ''Rumors of War,'' which Carl still owns and uses as one of his primary transports.

After this point Carl continued his freelance trading career and amassed a small fleet along with numerous space stations and facilities.

Carl retired from trading and spent several years relaxing at his personal residence on [[Corellia (Planet)|Corellia]] before the thrill of making deals called him back to the galactic trading market. Upon his return, he found that the economy had changed significantly. Ships and vehicles were now being mass produced and margins were slim.

Not many years after Carl's return to the galactic stage, a new system called [[Drup (System)|Drup]] was discovered in the galactic south. Carl had been spending time as a freelance builder for a large mining faction and was in the area at the time the news of the system was made public. He rushed down to the surface of Drup II and founded a large number of cities.

The founding of the cities was partially funded by A`Zol Surek, a trading partner with whom Carl had done business previously. Carl and Zol started a production company named Warrington Surek Industrial, with which the two intended to use the newly founded cities as factory cities to produce products and small ships for the galactic south.

This venture was halted when Zol was captured by [[Zann Consortium|Zann]], and his 51% stake in WSI was turned over to them prior to his execution. As Zol had owned a majority share of the company, Carl was left holding a non-controlling stake with the treacherous Zann Consortium as a partner. Carl was strong-armed into a deal in which he would accept 10% of the earnings of WSI while Zann controlled the company and kept the remaining 90%.

However, time would tell that even this deal was too good to be true. Zann never honored its agreement. When Carl inquired about his payment, Zann feigned interest in paying Carl only to lure him onto one of their stations to capture him. Carl and [[Ximaro Jix]] did battle on ''The Anchorage'' in the [[Vaxal (System)|Vaxal]] system, and Carl overpowered his opponent, defeating him and escaping the trap.

The cities on Drup II were never sold throughout this fiasco, and Carl held them as a wildcard for future revenge against Zann. In [[Year 19]], Carl enlisted the help of his friend and fellow pirate, [[Argon Nightwish]], and together the pair snuck into the Drup system with Bulk Freighters laden with building materials and sick [[Ugnaught]] refugees. They spent several days building hundreds of hotels and other facilities in which the syphilitic Ugnaughts could live. This act of generosity was strongly opposed by Zann agents as the hotels would saturate the market and dramatically reduce the potential for Zann-owned hotels to earn income on the planet. Carl and Argon were able to outsmart their Zann opponents and all of the facilities were successfully produced for the migrant Ugnaughts. The story of this revenge has been reported extensively by the galactic news service in the article "[[A Syphilitic Situation on Drup II]]".

Carl was long a secret member of the Eidola Pirates, but came out publicly to complete his vision of a pirate hub for trading and business on [[Sevarcos X (Planet)|Sevarcos X]]. He has since completed the project, following which, [[Sevarcos X (Planet)|Sevarcos X]] became known as one of the largest pirate business centers in the galaxy. Since then, his planetary building and construction consulting endeavors have taken off, with Carl guiding various other planetary building operations within the [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]] system.

Carl specializes in planetary construction and building planning of both the legal and illegal variety. Known as a champion of the underdog Carl has been known to take long breaks from building Eidola's infrastructure to aid struggling peoples throughout the galaxy. The building project on Drup II to aid syphilis infected Ugnaughts was one such venture.

In [[Year 20]], Carl embarked on a secret mission to solidify Eidola's control of the moon of Ferxani Beta in the [[Polith]] system. The [[Galactic Empire]] controls the Polith system with the famous bacta production center - [[Thyferra]] - at the center of the system's economy. Carl snuck into the system and covertly established a pirate training academy, military base, and significant defenses at this valuable forward base for Eidola raids on Imperial bacta shipments. It is rumored that Imperial slaves were used in the construction of this base. The Eidola base was constructed so quickly that it was long a thorn in the side of the Imperial bacta shipping and production despite the Empire's desires to eradicate the forward base.

In [[Year 21]], Carl lead a team of Eidolans on a quest to relocate many of Eidola's discontent senior citizens from [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]] to the [[Bes (System)|Bes]] system. These former pirates had become dissatisfied with the restrictive laws being enacted to curb their frequent public displays of nudity on the streets of [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]]. The mission was a success, resulting in the relocation of millions of senior citizens to 100 newly founded nudist cities on [[Bes IV (Planet)|Bes IV]]. While Rogue Squadron defended their world admirably and murdered many elderly Eidolans, ultimately they were unable to stop the flow of the Eidolan nudists. A more detailed report of this incident can be found in the GNS reporting of the incident [[Elder Dumping: Breaking News from the Bes System]].

Later in [[Year 21]], Carl was informed that a racial minority within the Hoth system was struggling to find housing and was living in homelessness on the planet [[Biosh (Planet)|Biosh]]. He snuck past the system patrols and the shields of the planet itself and began the construction of nearly 100 hotels, offices, and taverns. The intent was to quickly make housing, jobs, and entertainment for the suffering minority population, however the locals bitterly opposed Carl’s attempt to aid the marginalized of Hoth. A group called "NIMBs" (Not In My Biosh) complained loudly and the magistrate of Biosh: Aks Olotl, quickly came to the aid of the NIMBs. Fortunately Carl and his builders had long experience in this sort of building and were able to complete the entire city with all its facilities in under a week. Aks Olotl's attempts to arrest builders and block Carl from guiding reinforcements was entirely unsuccessful due to Aks' near complete ineptitude in hand-to-hand combat.

On [[Year 22]] day 9 Carl was promoted to second in command of [[Eidola Pirates]] however he was not told of his promotion. He returned to his HQ station Ambush Point orbiting Sevarcos X to find Pirates strewn throughout the station in a drunken stupor. While drunkenness is normal and even encouraged in Eidola, the degree of inebriation was unusual. When he arrived at his office he found Argon Nightwish who informed Carl that he had missed both his own promotion ceremony and ensuing party because Syn forgot to inform Carl of the promotion and refused to invite Carl to the party. Argon next pointed Carl to the long list of tasks which Syn left on Carl’s desk outlining his new duties as second in command. As Carl read dubiously through the long list of expectations one of the drunks who had somehow accessed Carl’s office and was passed out on the floor looked up. It was Squall Chitose. Squall laughed when he saw Carl reading the list and slurred something that sounded like “sucker!” as he went back to his drunken dreams.

In [[Year 22]] Carl liberated 12 X-wing starfighters from the clutches of the [[Sith Imperium]] valued at the time at roughly 1.1 billion credits in a daring raid of the Golan II "Wirsaka Nadasja Andi" guarding [[Tamra (Planet)|Tamra]] in the [[Tamra (System)|Tamra]] system. Carl successful absconded with all of the X-Wing fighters so quietly that the Sith Imperium didn't notice the theft for weeks. Ultimately, while Carl attempted to reason with the Sith, they refused to provide Carl with the access codes to the fighters in spite of the fact that the X-wings were now hopelessly outside of Sith reach, hidden safely in Carl's stronghold in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]]. The fighters stayed with Carl's slicers in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]] where they worked to crack the access codes to these X-wings for nearly 4 years. When no progress was made, Carl brought the ships to [[Derra]] to consult with one of the galaxy's top code slicers in [[Year 26]]. After only three days, the codes for all 12 x-wings were in Carl's possession and he fired all of his code slicers back in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]]. This impulsive move caused significant economic turmoil in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]], as it was later realized, after the firings, that he had been employing nearly 10% of the population as code slicers.

In [[Year 22]] a population of oppressed non-humans on the [[Galactic Empire]] world of [[Humbarine (Planet)|Humbarine]] contacted Carl requesting economic relief from the oppression of the [[Galactic Empire]]. Carl agreed to smuggle the necessary materials past the Empire's patrols and bring an elite team of builders to construct a business district of sorts for these sentients in order to provide them with jobs and wealth. The details of this arrangement remain unclear, but it is rumored that Carl was compensated handsomely for this latest spat of illicit building. As Carl expected there was significant resistance from the Empire and soon many of his top builders were arrested. Unexpectedly the Empire's agent, [[Patrick Mueirech]], while quite savvy in arresting a large number of Carl's builders, apparently lacked the authorization from his superiors to either bring the builders to prison or execute them. Consequently he left the builders tied to lamp posts in front of the facilities they had been building. Relieved that he didn't have to resort to a more drastic rescue, Carl snuck behind Patrick and released all the builders from their lamp post bondage mere minutes after their capture. This bazar cat and mouse game continued for the entire operation. Ultimately, the city facilities were built without a single casualty and the non-human population of Humbarine was left much wealthier.

In [[Year 23]] Carl led a band of pirates in capturing the [[Si`Klaata Cluster (System)|Si`Klaata Cluster]] from the [[Knights of the Fountain]] who, at the time, had recently joined the [[Imperial Union]]. The capture was accomplished by a daring plan to import billions of syphilitic Ugnaughts to the planet of [[Kintan]] at the urgent request of the [[Nikto]] people as reported in the GNS article [[Pirates Plunder Imperial Union System]]. This mass importation of Ugnaughts was poorly thought through and lead to a food crisis, a housing crisis, and an STD crisis for [[Kintan]]. But in spite of this seemingly inexcusable blunder, the [[Eidola Pirates]] were able to retain control of the system and significantly improve its defenses.

In [[Year 25]] Carl performed a detailed, galaxy wide survey of Ugnaughts and it determined that Cantras Gola was the worst place to live in the entire galaxy for these undersized creatures. The main driver of this shocking result was that it was too cold and had very few urinals at an appropriate hight for Ugnaughts. This was leading to an unacceptable amount of Ugnaught shrinkage. Which of course is highly undesirable due to their natural lack of size. To unshrink the Ugnaughts Carl embarked on a long journey from Sevarcos to build the Ugnaughts acceptable dwellings and places of work with exclusively Ugnaught hight urinals. Unfortunately the local government responded poorly to Carl's well meaning facility construction with one government official threatening to "...wage open war on planetary surfaces & simply destroy all you have built.". In spite of these headwinds, Carl and his builders were able to complete the construction of a full city of hotels, offices and taverns, all with Ugnaught hight urinals for the population of Cantras Gola.

In [[Year 25]] Carl lead a group of pirates to [[Derra]] to engage in a daring raid of shipping in the system in which they successfully absconded with over 1,100 items, imperial technology, lightsaber parts valued in the hundreds of millions of credits and destroyed assets valued at over one billion credits, as reported in [[Breaking News from Derra: Stolen hats, a battle in Syn’s Mom, and a murder solved]]. The pirates were able to accomplish this feat in spite of the Rebellion's claims that they had brought order to [[Derra]], which has been long plagued by violence. The battles with the Rebel forces were fierce and the Eidolans were badly out gunned. However, the pirates were able to effectively use hit and fade tactics to avoid the bulk of the Rebel fleet. The pirates also took advantage of the sensor shielding properties of [[Derra IV]] and extensively looted the famed "Outbreak Response" city.

In [[Year 26]] Carl again brought a group of pirates to the [[Derra]] system upon an important improvement in Eidola hacking technology which allowed for the easier capture of ships. Upon entering the system, the pirates were met with a depressing sight, all ships in the [[Derra]] system seemed to have been destroyed. Upon talking to a survivor they found floating in an escape pod it seemed that everyone had fled to the surface of the planet [[Derra IV]] to Outbreak Response city. The pirates followed the hapless citizens of [[Derra]] to the surface and proceeded to capture 22 ships, over 50 vehicles, and hundreds of items. At the conclusion of the raid Syn and Carl disabled and stormed a Jedi corvette and did battle with the Jedi: George O'Rouke and his 40 armed guards. O'Rouke and his guards were no match for the fearless and clothe-less [[Syn]] and Carl and fled before their onslaught. Carl is an avid hunter and has participated in many hunting competitions including the great hunt at the bi-annual swap meets. Carl has had a long and storied career in these hunts and came up just short of the podium in the year 21 droid hunt by a single point. Carl, undeterred by his narrow defeat, vowed to compete again in the main Nimban hunt. In year 21 Carl placed 1st in the Swap Hunt at Nimban after executing an exacting strategy of targeting exclusively Draigons. While Carl had long dabble in bounty hunting as an extension of his hunting adventures, In [[Year 22]] Carl Warrington was finally recognized as a master bounty hunter by Cantrell Consulting. He now functions as a bounty hunting kingpin of sorts, accepting many top bounties and passing them along to other members of Eidola. While Carl does not have much time to spend bounty hunting due to his busy schedule, he has never missed a bounty, and is feared throughout the galaxy as an elite bounty hunter.

Carl is known for his love of animals and has several rooms dedicated to housing his pets on the [[Widowmaker]]. Among his many pets, Norbert the Draigon has gained a certain level of notoriety as Carl's closest companion. He came across Norbert accidentally after doing battle with several Draigons in the mountains of northwestern Yelsain in [[Year 18]]. At the time, the [[Great Science Feud]] was in full swing, and the Twilight Foundation faction that Carl had chosen to join needed Draigon scales for scientific purposes. After Carl and his band emerged victorious from their battle with the Draigons, Carl stumbled across a mysterious egg lying near the battlefield. He brought the egg back to his ship and cared for it until it hatched. He was delighted to discover that the egg contained a baby Draigon. Norbert and Carl have been close friends ever since, often hunting together to hone their combat skills, and consequently, Norbert has developed into an expert combatant. Norbert has even made several appearances in the Death Hunt as one of the few creatures who regularly participates. "Norbert's Den" on the [[Widowmaker]] is a massive room designed specifically to cater to the needs and wants of a Draigon with comforts such as imitation mountainous terrain and porgs for Norbert's hunting entertainment. Norbert's Den is also where Norbert keeps some of his own prized possessions.

Carl has an elite fighting crew of pirates who function as shock troops for boarding ships, body guards, and assassins. Lead by [[Nikolaj Locke]], Carl's top lieutenant, Carl's Corsairs have seen significant action. Locke is a former Galactic Empire Lieutenant Colonel who was XO of the famed 3rd Imperial Legion also known as the "Shadow Guard". While the Empire states that Locke was killed in action, it seems he was actually injured fighting pirates and left for dead. When he came to, he had no recollection of his prior life and eventually found his way down to [[Sevarcos X (Planet)|Sevarcos X]] as many do seeking its promise of anonymity and vast opportunities. == '''The Early Days''' ==

Carl Warrington was born and raised in a middle class family on [[Corellia]] and as soon as he learned to fly he left home to see what adventures awaited him as a freelance trader.

He spent many years as a freelancer and was heavily involved in galactic trade. He started by trading low value fighter craft and vehicles and slowly worked his way up to larger and rarer craft. One year into his trading career he was betrayed by a business associate and lost all of his slowly acquired fortune.

Left only with two cloakshape/H fighters he was forced to rebuild. While he continued to trade in fighters and vehicles he expanded the offerings of his store to include hidden system coordinates and stocks. Through the new focus of his business he was able to regain his lost fortune.

He competed in the second Kessel Run with [[Jeb`el Ras]] and came in second place. The winnings from this race was a [[YT-510]] freighter, the ''Rumors of War,'' which Carl still owns and uses as one of his primary transports.

After this point Carl continued his freelance trading career and amassed a small fleet along with numerous space stations and facilities.

Carl retired from trading and spent several years relaxing at his personal residence on [[Corellia (Planet)|Corellia]] before the thrill of making deals called him back to the galactic trading market. Upon his return, he found that the economy had changed significantly. Ships and vehicles were now being mass produced and margins were slim.

Not many years after Carl's return to the galactic stage, a new system called [[Drup (System)|Drup]] was discovered in the galactic south. Carl had been spending time as a freelance builder for a large mining faction and was in the area at the time the news of the system was made public. He rushed down to the surface of Drup II and founded a large number of cities.

The founding of the cities was partially funded by A`Zol Surek, a trading partner with whom Carl had done business previously. Carl and Zol started a production company named Warrington Surek Industrial, with which the two intended to use the newly founded cities as factory cities to produce products and small ships for the galactic south.

This venture was halted when Zol was captured by [[Zann Consortium|Zann]], and his 51% stake in WSI was turned over to them prior to his execution. As Zol had owned a majority share of the company, Carl was left holding a non-controlling stake with the treacherous Zann Consortium as a partner. Carl was strong-armed into a deal in which he would accept 10% of the earnings of WSI while Zann controlled the company and kept the remaining 90%.

However, time would tell that even this deal was too good to be true. Zann never honored its agreement. When Carl inquired about his payment, Zann feigned interest in paying Carl only to lure him onto one of their stations to capture him. Carl and [[Ximaro Jix]] did battle on ''The Anchorage'' in the [[Vaxal (System)|Vaxal]] system, and Carl overpowered his opponent, defeating him and escaping the trap.

The cities on Drup II were never sold throughout this fiasco, and Carl held them as a wildcard for future revenge against Zann. In [[Year 19]], Carl enlisted the help of his friend and fellow pirate, [[Argon Nightwish]], and together the pair snuck into the Drup system with Bulk Freighters laden with building materials and sick [[Ugnaught]] refugees. They spent several days building hundreds of hotels and other facilities in which the syphilitic Ugnaughts could live. This act of generosity was strongly opposed by Zann agents as the hotels would saturate the market and dramatically reduce the potential for Zann-owned hotels to earn income on the planet. Carl and Argon were able to outsmart their Zann opponents and all of the facilities were successfully produced for the migrant Ugnaughts. The story of this revenge has been reported extensively by the galactic news service in the article "[[A Syphilitic Situation on Drup II]]".

Carl was long a secret member of the Eidola Pirates, but came out publicly to complete his vision of a pirate hub for trading and business on [[Sevarcos X (Planet)|Sevarcos X]]. He has since completed the project, following which, [[Sevarcos X (Planet)|Sevarcos X]] became known as one of the largest pirate business centers in the galaxy. Since then, his planetary building and construction consulting endeavors have taken off, with Carl guiding various other planetary building operations within the [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]] system.

Carl specializes in planetary construction and building planning of both the legal and illegal variety. Known as a champion of the underdog Carl has been known to take long breaks from building Eidola's infrastructure to aid struggling peoples throughout the galaxy. The building project on Drup II to aid syphilis infected Ugnaughts was one such venture.

In [[Year 20]], Carl embarked on a secret mission to solidify Eidola's control of the moon of Ferxani Beta in the [[Polith]] system. The [[Galactic Empire]] controls the Polith system with the famous bacta production center - [[Thyferra]] - at the center of the system's economy. Carl snuck into the system and covertly established a pirate training academy, military base, and significant defenses at this valuable forward base for Eidola raids on Imperial bacta shipments. It is rumored that Imperial slaves were used in the construction of this base. The Eidola base was constructed so quickly that it was long a thorn in the side of the Imperial bacta shipping and production despite the Empire's desires to eradicate the forward base.

In [[Year 21]], Carl lead a team of Eidolans on a quest to relocate many of Eidola's discontent senior citizens from [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]] to the [[Bes (System)|Bes]] system. These former pirates had become dissatisfied with the restrictive laws being enacted to curb their frequent public displays of nudity on the streets of [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]]. The mission was a success, resulting in the relocation of millions of senior citizens to 100 newly founded nudist cities on [[Bes IV (Planet)|Bes IV]]. While Rogue Squadron defended their world admirably and murdered many elderly Eidolans, ultimately they were unable to stop the flow of the Eidolan nudists. A more detailed report of this incident can be found in the GNS reporting of the incident [[Elder Dumping: Breaking News from the Bes System]].

Later in [[Year 21]], Carl was informed that a racial minority within the Hoth system was struggling to find housing and was living in homelessness on the planet [[Biosh (Planet)|Biosh]]. He snuck past the system patrols and the shields of the planet itself and began the construction of nearly 100 hotels, offices, and taverns. The intent was to quickly make housing, jobs, and entertainment for the suffering minority population, however the locals bitterly opposed Carl’s attempt to aid the marginalized of Hoth. A group called "NIMBs" (Not In My Biosh) complained loudly and the magistrate of Biosh: Aks Olotl, quickly came to the aid of the NIMBs. Fortunately Carl and his builders had long experience in this sort of building and were able to complete the entire city with all its facilities in under a week. Aks Olotl's attempts to arrest builders and block Carl from guiding reinforcements was entirely unsuccessful due to Aks' near complete ineptitude in hand-to-hand combat.

On [[Year 22]] day 9 Carl was promoted to second in command of [[Eidola Pirates]] however he was not told of his promotion. He returned to his HQ station Ambush Point orbiting Sevarcos X to find Pirates strewn throughout the station in a drunken stupor. While drunkenness is normal and even encouraged in Eidola, the degree of inebriation was unusual. When he arrived at his office he found Argon Nightwish who informed Carl that he had missed both his own promotion ceremony and ensuing party because Syn forgot to inform Carl of the promotion and refused to invite Carl to the party. Argon next pointed Carl to the long list of tasks which Syn left on Carl’s desk outlining his new duties as second in command. As Carl read dubiously through the long list of expectations one of the drunks who had somehow accessed Carl’s office and was passed out on the floor looked up. It was Squall Chitose. Squall laughed when he saw Carl reading the list and slurred something that sounded like “sucker!” as he went back to his drunken dreams.

In [[Year 22]] Carl liberated 12 X-wing starfighters from the clutches of the [[Sith Imperium]] valued at the time at roughly 1.1 billion credits in a daring raid of the Golan II "Wirsaka Nadasja Andi" guarding [[Tamra (Planet)|Tamra]] in the [[Tamra (System)|Tamra]] system. Carl successful absconded with all of the X-Wing fighters so quietly that the Sith Imperium didn't notice the theft for weeks. Ultimately, while Carl attempted to reason with the Sith, they refused to provide Carl with the access codes to the fighters in spite of the fact that the X-wings were now hopelessly outside of Sith reach, hidden safely in Carl's stronghold in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]]. The fighters stayed with Carl's slicers in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]] where they worked to crack the access codes to these X-wings for nearly 4 years. When no progress was made, Carl brought the ships to [[Derra]] to consult with one of the galaxy's top code slicers in [[Year 26]]. After only three days, the codes for all 12 x-wings were in Carl's possession and he fired all of his code slicers back in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]]. This impulsive move caused significant economic turmoil in [[Sevarcos (System)|Sevarcos]], as it was later realized, after the firings, that he had been employing nearly 10% of the population as code slicers.

In [[Year 22]] a population of oppressed non-humans on the [[Galactic Empire]] world of [[Humbarine (Planet)|Humbarine]] contacted Carl requesting economic relief from the oppression of the [[Galactic Empire]]. Carl agreed to smuggle the necessary materials past the Empire's patrols and bring an elite team of builders to construct a business district of sorts for these sentients in order to provide them with jobs and wealth. The details of this arrangement remain unclear, but it is rumored that Carl was compensated handsomely for this latest spat of illicit building. As Carl expected there was significant resistance from the Empire and soon many of his top builders were arrested. Unexpectedly the Empire's agent, [[Patrick Mueirech]], while quite savvy in arresting a large number of Carl's builders, apparently lacked the authorization from his superiors to either bring the builders to prison or execute them. Consequently he left the builders tied to lamp posts in front of the facilities they had been building. Relieved that he didn't have to resort to a more drastic rescue, Carl snuck behind Patrick and released all the builders from their lamp post bondage mere minutes after their capture. This bazar cat and mouse game continued for the entire operation. Ultimately, the city facilities were built without a single casualty and the non-human population of Humbarine was left much wealthier.

In [[Year 23]] Carl led a band of pirates in capturing the [[Si`Klaata Cluster (System)|Si`Klaata Cluster]] from the [[Knights of the Fountain]] who, at the time, had recently joined the [[Imperial Union]]. The capture was accomplished by a daring plan to import billions of syphilitic Ugnaughts to the planet of [[Kintan]] at the urgent request of the [[Nikto]] people as reported in the GNS article [[Pirates Plunder Imperial Union System]]. This mass importation of Ugnaughts was poorly thought through and lead to a food crisis, a housing crisis, and an STD crisis for [[Kintan]]. But in spite of this seemingly inexcusable blunder, the [[Eidola Pirates]] were able to retain control of the system and significantly improve its defenses.

In [[Year 25]] Carl performed a detailed, galaxy wide survey of Ugnaughts and it determined that Cantras Gola was the worst place to live in the entire galaxy for these undersized creatures. The main driver of this shocking result was that it was too cold and had very few urinals at an appropriate hight for Ugnaughts. This was leading to an unacceptable amount of Ugnaught shrinkage. Which of course is highly undesirable due to their natural lack of size. To unshrink the Ugnaughts Carl embarked on a long journey from Sevarcos to build the Ugnaughts acceptable dwellings and places of work with exclusively Ugnaught hight urinals. Unfortunately the local government responded poorly to Carl's well meaning facility construction with one government official threatening to "...wage open war on planetary surfaces & simply destroy all you have built.". In spite of these headwinds, Carl and his builders were able to complete the construction of a full city of hotels, offices and taverns, all with Ugnaught hight urinals for the population of Cantras Gola.

In [[Year 25]] Carl lead a group of pirates to [[Derra]] to engage in a daring raid of shipping in the system in which they successfully absconded with over 1,100 items, imperial technology, lightsaber parts valued in the hundreds of millions of credits and destroyed assets valued at over one billion credits, as reported in [[Breaking News from Derra: Stolen hats, a battle in Syn’s Mom, and a murder solved]]. The pirates were able to accomplish this feat in spite of the Rebellion's claims that they had brought order to [[Derra]], which has been long plagued by violence. The battles with the Rebel forces were fierce and the Eidolans were badly out gunned. However, the pirates were able to effectively use hit and fade tactics to avoid the bulk of the Rebel fleet. The pirates also took advantage of the sensor shielding properties of [[Derra IV]] and extensively looted the famed "Outbreak Response" city.

In [[Year 26]] Carl again brought a group of pirates to the [[Derra]] system upon an important improvement in Eidola hacking technology which allowed for the easier capture of ships. Upon entering the system, the pirates were met with a depressing sight, all ships in the [[Derra]] system seemed to have been destroyed. Upon talking to a survivor they found floating in an escape pod it seemed that everyone had fled to the surface of the planet [[Derra IV]] to Outbreak Response city. The pirates followed the hapless citizens of [[Derra]] to the surface and proceeded to capture 22 ships, over 50 vehicles, and hundreds of items. At the conclusion of the raid Syn and Carl disabled and stormed a Jedi corvette and did battle with the Jedi: George O'Rouke and his 40 armed guards. O'Rouke and his guards were no match for the fearless and clothe-less [[Syn]] and Carl and fled before their onslaught. Carl is an avid hunter and has participated in many hunting competitions including the great hunt at the bi-annual swap meets. Carl has had a long and storied career in these hunts and came up just short of the podium in the year 21 droid hunt by a single point. Carl, undeterred by his narrow defeat, vowed to compete again in the main Nimban hunt. In year 21 Carl placed 1st in the Swap Hunt at Nimban after executing an exacting strategy of targeting exclusively Draigons. While Carl does not have much time to spend bounty hunting due to his busy schedule, he has never missed a bounty, and is feared throughout the galaxy as an elite bounty hunter.

Carl is known for his love of animals and has several rooms dedicated to housing his pets on the [[Widowmaker]]. Among his many pets, Norbert the Draigon has gained a certain level of notoriety as Carl's closest companion. He came across Norbert accidentally after doing battle with several Draigons in the mountains of northwestern Yelsain in [[Year 18]]. At the time, the [[Great Science Feud]] was in full swing, and the Twilight Foundation faction that Carl had chosen to join needed Draigon scales for scientific purposes. After Carl and his band emerged victorious from their battle with the Draigons, Carl stumbled across a mysterious egg lying near the battlefield. He brought the egg back to his ship and cared for it until it hatched. He was delighted to discover that the egg contained a baby Draigon. Norbert and Carl have been close friends ever since, often hunting together to hone their combat skills, and consequently, Norbert has developed into an expert combatant. Norbert has even made several appearances in the Death Hunt as one of the few creatures who regularly participates. "Norbert's Den" on the [[Widowmaker]] is a massive room designed specifically to cater to the needs and wants of a Draigon with comforts such as imitation mountainous terrain and porgs for Norbert's hunting entertainment. Norbert's Den is also where Norbert keeps some of his own prized possessions.
