Ziyal's time before arriving at Allied Tion is unproven. All that is known is that he arrived in a personal shuttle from the Inner Rim. Shortly after landing on the planet Voss, he had a chance encounter with some members of the [[Tion Hegemony]] in one of the shady cantinas and after a few brief introductions, followed by a long talk with the tionese recruiters, Ziyal decided to join them. In year 13 day 308 Ziyal took up his new cause and started to learn what life was like in the Outer Rim.

Over the years he worked mostly in construction department which later known as Tion Engineering and Construction (TEC) under [[Stephanie Barefoot]]. He work hard and helped Tion to grow by developing some of the planet terrain into habitable ground for the growing number of Tionese citizens. Always keen to enhance his skills, he learned much about different civilian branches of work from building and hauling to mining to production.

Ziyal recognised how beneficial being multi-skilled and saw the potential of sharing this knowledge with his friends and started to reorganise the old Tionese Academy. After many months of work, Ziyal and his colleagues were proud to open the Andy Quick Academy, to honour the missing Tion Mil/Sci Industries (TMSI) President, as a new pool of knowledge and prosperity for all Tionese.

During his time in Tion he worked his way up to Section leader in Nikklon Mining Incorporated (NMI) until Year 16 Day 41.
