The Gree system is a star system located in the Gree sector of the Outer Rim Territories. Long controlled by the Black Sun crime syndicate, the 350th day of Year 14 CGT saw the start of an internal power struggle in the syndicate, with resulting hostilities transferring the system into the hands of the GenoHaradan paramilitary organization. Supported by the Mandalorian clan Dael'mor, GenoHaradan would force the Black Sun occupation forces out of the system and seize the remaining strongholds, eventually turning management of the system over to the newly formed Gree Trade Authority on the 267th day of Year 15 CGT.

Overview

The Gree system is comprised of six celestial bodies: four planets and two stars. Per galactic planetary classification standards, Gree (Prime) and Gree III are rated as "temperate/breathable" with Type I atmospheres while Gree I and Gree IV are "gas giants" with Type IV atmospheres. The planets orbit the star designated as Gree Aurek while gravitational pull from Gree Besh modifies the orbital trajectories into an ellipse.

Gree (Prime) is the main planet in the system and home to the system government. It is heavily fortified by defensive surface emplacements, a network of shield generators, and surrounded by a number of defensive space stations.

Gree I is a large gas giant that is home to an extensive and constantly-growing mining colony. This mining operation is the main source of the system's highest export, tibanna gas, and is heavily defended by a network of shield generators and an orbiting blockade of capital-class and support starships.

Gree III was gifted to the Mandalorian clan Dael'mor for their assistance in removing the Black Sun criminal syndicate.

Gree IV is a massive gas giant that is home to a mining colony, though it is not as developed as Gree I and produces only a fraction of the system's main export, tibanna gas.
