The Arkanian Brotherhood was an independent government formed in Year 13 operating primarily from the Bon`nyuw-Luq sector. The Brotherhood formed out of the dissolution of the Jedi Coalition by the Jedi Order and the Arkanian Royal Engineers.
The bulk of the new Brotherhood was made up of the holdings and staff of the former Royal Arkanian Engineers, which itself was the offspring of the Arkanian Conglomerate which has included factions such as Arkanian Enterprises, Offworld Mining Corporation, SarShen Spaceworks, Arkanian Trade Syndicate, Phoenix Recycling Corporation and the Arkanian Royal Engineers. Some newer members, such as George O Rourke, who had only been part of the Jedi Coalition and didn't have a history with either the Jedi Order or the Royal Arkanian Engineers, choose to join the newly formed government.
On day 354 of Year 14, The Arkanian Brotherhood transformed themselves into a mercenary group. A branch of them would also form Arkanian Brotherhood Engineering, which would dissolve just over a month later on day 37 of Year 15.
