The Council of Native Races was a fraternity of galactic nonhuman species. Its purpose was to advocate the economic and cultural interests of indigenous communities.
History
The CNR was plagued with the stigma of being anti-human militarists due to its refusal to admit humans. They were even declared a terrorist organisation by the Galactic Empire and mentioned in an the Imperial News Publication Iron Will as possible culprits for an act of bio-terrorism.
In Year 12 , Io Toda committed suicide and the Gran Protectorate did not appoint a successor, leaving the Gran delegation dormant. On Day 109, Carn`ilo Sabosen was executed, and his successor to the Aristocracy, Drak`ora Sabosen, withdrew the Chiss Ascendancy-in-Exile from the CNR and declared that it was dissolved.
Council Chamber
The leadership of the CNR is known as the "Council Chamber". It consists of at least one representative from each member community. Their purpose is the coordination of CNR policy.
