Crewman Elwood Manjarres is a Corellian Native who has immigrated to the Hapes Consortium to be with his new wife. He is currently enlisted in the Royal Hapan Armed Forces.
Family Life
Birth
Elwood Manjarres was born 11 BCGT, on day 182 to Stephanie Felterron and Edward Felternon, in the city of Coronet on Corellia. His birth parents took good care of him and taught Manjarres respect, hard work, and dedication. His father also taught him the rudimentary basics of piloting.
In 6 BCGT the Felterron's would welcome another baby boy, Quintan, into their family.
Orphaning
In 5 BCGT, Manjarres would be left orphaned when a drug addict broke into his family home in Coronet, and killed his parents after they refused to give what little money they had on their person to feed their children to the addict. The addict became incensed at their refusal and shot them, before fleeing at the cry of the children within the house.
Manjarres was the first to find his parents, and called for local authorities, who pronounced them both dead at the scene. The murderer was never found, and the two Felterron boys were placed in foster care.
Foster Care
Due to the condition that Manjarres found his parents in, he became withdrawn, and distrusting of people in general. Due to this Manjarres was considered a troubled child, and did act out. Between the time Manjarres and his brother were put into foster care, until 3 BCGT, when Manjarres was eight, and his brother three, the two boys were in 7 separate foster homes. During 3 BCGT, the two brothers were separated, when Quintan was adopted and Manjarres remained in foster care. This caused further acting out by Manjarres who felt his only anchor was now missing. This attitude led to Manjarres going through an additional 14 foster homes in the time between 3 BCGT and 1 BCGT.
Adoption
In 1 BCGT, at the age of ten, Manjarres was adopted by Jayathan Manjarres, a religious teacher in Coronet, and his wife Hellena. Manjarres' adoptive parents were extremely strict and taught him their dogmatic religious worldview, and had him enrolled in a military academy on Corellia.
Military Schooling
Manjarres excelled and began to deal with many of his issues while enrolled in the Corellian military academy. He credits his 8 years there for teaching him respect, determination, hard work, and critical thinking. These skills, in particular the last one, would lead him to trouble with his family. During his time in the military academy Manjarres also learned starfighter and freighter piloting and combat skills, alongside capital ship piloting skills, in which he excelled. At the age of 16, in the year of 5 CGT, Manjarres was given a part time job with the Corellian Military, helping lead ships through the Corellian system and onto the planet guard including escort and defense duties. During this time, he remained at the top of his class despite the additional pressures of his part time job. He particularly excelled at leadership skills, and in his final year before graduation was the Class Commander.
Disownment
At the age of 18, in the year of 7 CGT Manjarres graduated with honors from the Corellian Military Academy, and joined the military full time. Due to some of what he had been taught, he came to the conclusion that his adopted parents' faith did not hold intellectual water, and he attempted to explain to them his misgivings, however his adopted father chose to disown Manjarres due to this decision,
casting him out of the home and refusing to allow him to contact his adopted mother, who disagreed with his adopted father's decision. He would remain a part of the Corellian military for two more years, before he had saved up enough money to buy his own YT-1300, which he named The Precious Eagle For the next 2 years he ran a transport business and nothing of much note occurred other than those events mentioned in the careers section.
Dating and Marriage
At the age of 22, in the year 11 CGT, Manjarres had been on a standard transport run and dropped a passenger off at Lorell in the Hapes Cluster. Before he left he decided to get a small amount of rest and relaxation and stopped at a bar on the planet. While there he met, and was attracted to, a waitress there. The waitress' name was Camellia Klena. After her shift ended, he asked her for a date, and took her to the high-class restaurant at his hotel. Klena accepted. They began talking, and by the time the restaurant closed, Manjarres invited Klena to join him in his room to continue the conversation. Again she accepted. That day they talked for over sixteen hours straight, before Klena had to return to work.
Over the next six months, the two continued to date. At that point Manjarres proposed. Over the next six months, he continued to work to save money for an apartment. He ended up selling his portion of his business to his partners for an extremely cheap rate, simply to be able to relocate.
Six months after his proposal, in the middle of 13 CGT, Klena and Manjarres were married.
Joining Hapan Armed Forces
Soon after marrying Klena, Manjarres decided that he needed a steady paycheck and good benefits in order to support his new bride, and their future family. Because of this desire, Manjarres decided to join the Royal Hapan Armed Forces. After sharing this desire with his new bride, she decided to likewise. Career(s)
Correllian Military
As stated above, Manjarres worked for the Corellian Military as a contractor, then as an full employee from the age of 16 to 20. His primary job was to escort ships through security cordons in the Corellia system. The only notable event during this time was when an extremist attempted to crash his ship into a defense platform in orbit, and Manjarres was forced to fire and kill the terrorist.
Manjarres Transport LLC
At the age of 20, Manjarres bought a YT-1300 and began his business, Manjarres Transport LLC. About a year in, Manjarres sold two fifths of his company on the public stock market and via private deals to gain partners and credits. Over the next two years the company flourished under his leadership, hiring many pilots for both protection and transport jobs.
Manjarres would sell his shares of the company for pennies on the dollar in 13 CGT, at the age of 24, in order to provide a new home for his new bride, he kept only a single ship, the very first he bought, the Precious Eagle.
Royal Hapan Armed Forces
Academy
Hapan Royal Academy
After graduating from the RHSCSE, Manjarres was granted acceptance into the Royal Hapan Armed Forces and assigned to the Hapan Royal Academy.
During this time Manjarres showed an aptitude towards learning and quickly covered both the theoretical and practical lessons assigned to him, graduating in one week from within the Academy. During this time he met and befriended two people, that he continues to have good relationships with Revan Jones, and Jacen Smith.
Joining a Fleet

After graduation Manjarres was assigned to a Hapan Fleet, and currently still operates within that Fleet's command. His current role is as a starfighter pilot.
Leaving the Consortium
Due to issues that Manjarres has refused to disclose, he left the consortium.
Manjarres Personal Defense Forces
Manjarres began creating the Manjarres Personal Defense Forces from his earnings at the end of Year 13.
Zann Security Forces
Shortly after leaving Hapes services, Manjarres met and befriended the owner of the Zann Consortium. This led to him befriended the owner of the organization when they hired him to redesign their holosite. Due to his loose ends, Manjarres offered the use of himself and his personal defense fleet for Zann Consortium use. This ultimately led to the MPDF becoming Zann Security Forces.
Manjarres Design Studios
As a side job, Elwood Manjarres began designing holosites for various organizations about the same time he joined the Royal Hapan Armed Forces.

Quirks
Elwood Manjarres had a few personality quirks. These are listed below.
Addressing Civilians as Sir/Ma'am
Due to the way Manjarres grew up, he has a tendency to call civilians that he does not know well Sir or Ma'am.
Maturity Mindset
Manjarres is extremely mature for his age, however due to his normal outlook on life some do not see this. Manjarres' ideas on maturity can largely be summed up using his own words from the following quote.
I am mature, however I like to live life. I refuse to go through life with a stick shoved up my arse.
I can be mature when the situation calls for it, but if it doesn't, I am going to amuse myself and others,
have fun, make a fool of myself, and live life to it's fullest.
Temperament
Manjarres has a steady temperament. He enjoys having fun and teasing himself and others. He tends to be a loner and distrusting of others, but can set it aside and work with others if a situation calls for it.
Manjarres is hard to anger, and rarely lets it show if he is angry. He would rather go for long walks to blow off steam, then resort to physical violence.
