Galactic Alliance Secretary-General
Secretary-General (or Secretary General) is the title given to the leader of the Galactic Alliance, elected bi-annually from one of the Alliance member groups comprising the Leadership Council by a majority of the General Assembly. As the chief foreign representative and administrative officer, the Secretary-General is responsible for the organisation and coordination of Alliance efforts, operating as an honest broker between member governments and organisations. Since the adoption of a new treaty in Year 12, he or she also chairs meetings with the leaders of the Alliance's various Executive Committees. More recently, they also receive the assistance of the Deputy Secretary-General.
The current and thirteenth Secretary-General is Gand Xitwa of the New Republic.

- Onasha Katr of the Jedi Order was elected as the fifth Secretary-General of the Galactic Alliance on Year 12 Day 363.

- Tapar Craken of the Krath Dynasty was elected as the seventh Secretary-General of the Galactic Alliance on Year 14 Day 76.
- Phoenix Daywalker of Rogue Squadron was elected as the eighth Secretary-General of the Galactic Alliance on Year 14 Day 205.
- Jar-Tan Kem of the Triumvirate Coalition was elected as the ninth Secretary-General of the Galactic Alliance on Year 14 Day 363.
- Wuma Uxal-Lumir of the Freedom Warriors was elected as the tenth Secretary-General of the Galactic Alliance on Year 15 Day 76.
- Wedge Achilles of the New Republic was elected as the eleventh Secretary-General of the Galactic Alliance on Year 16 Day 13.
- Jake Azzameen of Rogue Squadron was elected as the eleventh Secretary-General of the Galactic Alliance on Year 16 Day 60.
- Natalis Oro of the New Republic was elected as the twelfth Secretary-General of the Galactic Alliance on Year 18 Day 60.
