House Phostar is a prominent dynasty in Alderaan (Planet) and Nam Chorios, where the house has directed many businesses and operations. Originally from Alderaan (Planet) later generations of the house migrated north and settled in Nam Chorios. Political allegiances have been split amongst house members many of whom were either devout to the Republic or the Rebellion, a divide which is still ongoing.
Of note recent activity from the house includes the contribution of educational excellence by Diarmuid and Mairead in Alderaan (Planet) and the operating of a foster home (Undertaken by Joseph and Dealla), which throughout its history has homed various species an issue which has caused further rifts between family members.
Phostar Manor
Phostar Manor is a large foster home in Nam Chorios run by Joseph Phostar and Dealla Phostar. The couple began fostering in year 4BCGT after rescuing a number of children, including Ledah Van Aalst, who was set to be sold into slavery until the ship transporting them was hijacked by Joseph and Dealla back to Nam Chorios from Point Nadir, this was part of a covert operation by the pair who infiltrated Sable Dawn.
Over the next years Joseph and Dealla along with help from their local community would nurture the foster children, catering to their various and differing needs as each child was not human and none were the same species. On Year 0 the couple would have their own birthed child called Finnegan Phostar. Finnegan would leave the manor aged 11 despite the attempts of his parents and would stay with his grandparents, however for six years annually the Phostar Manor family would gather with Finnegan, Diarmuid and Mairead until this abruptly ended where the two sides would no longer communicate. Political rifts of the adults are believed to be the reason.
Many children would come and go over the years, with the vast majority staying on Nam Chorios helping to raise the future generations of their siblings in nearby homes (some even living together), while others travelled back to their homeworld's, all of the foster siblings have stayed in contact and with good relations with the family. Of note the family would extend to a further generation early in year 17 when a member of the family Caroline Tickner gave birth to a boy named Lochy, the identity of the father remains unknown despite the attempts of Joseph and Dealla.
For years Joseph and Dealla were reluctant in giving Van Aalst independence away from their care despite his requests and only compromised when it was time for a number of his siblings to leave the manor, who they asked to join him in his journey across the galaxy. The group of siblings all wanted to explore the galaxy until eventually returning to their community in Nam Chorios. This, as they saw it 'holiday', spanned over several planets, systems and even sectors was paid for by the Phostars who arranged the trip after years of hearing from the pleas of their children to explore the galaxy. After several months of exploration and relaxation the siblings reached their final destination of the trip Asrat which was holding its annual Winter fest event.
As it was their final destination the group of siblings made sure to make the most of Asrat, from attending its Winter Festival to hover-skiing. On the last night of the trip they went out to a lounge to rejoice on their memories of the past few months, this was when the siblings reunited with Finnegan Phostar (their foster brother who left home aged 11). However this was the last confirmed report of the group who were involved in an altercation with one of Phostar's associates rupturing the reunion. With the last reported sighting of the siblings being Day 315 of Year 24.
Finnegan Phostar
On Day 337 of Year 24, the ship Finnegan was piloting let out a distress signal until abruptly going off radar. It is unknown if his other siblings were abroad.
