Libra
The Libra was a major space station that was destroyed during the Battle of Beta.
Roommap of the Libra
6151 | the Docking Bay | You are standing in the huge docking bay of the Libra. Two Noghri guards are watching all arrivals alertly, their blasters easily visible as they stand guard at the main door leading to the station entrance bay. There are security cameras in every corner, that pans across the entire docking bay, watching ceaselessly. Dozens of ships are docked here and there are numerous droids and mechanics about, maintaining and repairing various pieces of equipment. |
8718 | the Station Entrance Bay | You see a huge, expansive room with no cover anywhere in the bay, except for all around the walls, where there are hundreds of firing positions for soldiers behind plascrete and transparisteel fortifications. At the far end of the room there is a blast door, leading to Central Corridor 2 and from there to the rest of the station. Above are many armoured walkways from which hundreds of soldiers can fire down on any boarding party. it seems to you that upon boarding the station you will have no cover at all and would have to advance across several hundred metres of completely open deck and then try to blast through heavy fortifications, while thousands of soldiers are firing on you. There are security cameras and scanners dotted about the room. |
8719 | Central Access Corridor 2 | You are standing in a very large, very wide corridor. The height must be at least four metres from ground to ceiling and about six metres across. This corridor looks as thought it was built to accomodate AT-PT vehicles. |
8720 | Central Access Corridor 1 | You are standing in a very large, very wide corridor. The height must be at least four metres from ground to ceiling and about six metres across. This corridor looks as thought it was built to accomodate AT-PT patrols, given the door marked 'AT-PT Storage' at one end of the corridor. |
8721 | Turbolift 1 | You are standing in Turbolift 1. Like all turbolifts on the Libra, this lift can only carry a maximum of four people at any one time. |
8722 | Command Corridor | |
8784 | the Command Barracks | Many bunk beds run down either side of this room, with a large storage container in front of each. Most of the beds are neatly made, except for a few that are still occupied by sleeping soldiers. At the far end can be seen grey metal lockers for the soldiers and a door leading off is clearly marked as a shower room. |
8785 | Bridge Access Corridor A | You step through the door and see a large, spacious corridor, with several defensive bulkhead positions towards the middle of the corridor on either side of the walls, designed to protect defending personnel from any hostile forces coming out of the turbolift. Guards are on patrol here and there are security scanners and security cameras in every corner of the room. |
8786 | the V.I.P Guest Quarters | You are standing in a long, wide corridor with several doors leading off it. There are several guards in sight, and security cameras and scanners placed strategically along the length of the corridor so as to give maximum coverance. |
8834 | the Combat Simulation Rooms | The room is brightly lit, with holoboards next to each of the three doors that lead to the combat simulators, charting scores and information displays on current combat simulations being run. There is a desk along one wall with a stack of datapads on it, along with a small light standing in one corner. |
9086 | Central Access Corridor 3 | You are standing in a very large, very wide corridor. The height must be at least four metres from ground to ceiling and about six metres across. This corridor looks as thought it was built to accomodate AT-PT vehicles. |
9087 | the Entertainment Complex Corridor | You are standing in a very large, very wide corridor. The height must be at least four metres from ground to ceiling and about six metres across. This corridor looks as thought it was built to accomodate AT-PT vehicles. |
9091 | Central Access Corridor 4 | You are standing in a very large, very wide corridor. The height must be at least four metres from ground to ceiling and about six metres across. This corridor looks as thought it was built to accomodate AT-PT vehicles. |
9093 | the Barracks and Detention Block Area | You are standing in a fairly long corridor, with a door on both the left and right walls. At the far end is a heavy blast door, with 'Detention Block' clearly labelled above it. There is a guard on either side of the blast door, their gaze falling on every person that enters the room. |
9097 | the Male Garrison Room | Many bunk beds run down either side of this room, with a large storage container in front of each. Most of the beds are neatly made, except for a few that were still occupied by sleeping men. At the far end can be seen grey metal lockers for the soldiers and a door leading off is clearly marked as a shower room. |
9098 | the Men's Shower Room | Pools of water are still evident on the floor, but the shower room is empty. |
9108 | the Detention Block | You see two cells, both along the left hand wall, with a single door on the right side. One Cell is occupied; the other lies empty. There are security cameras mounted at either end of the room, their cold lenses patrolling the corridor ceaselessly, as two uniformed human guards man the security desk situated in the centre of the room. |
9109 | Mr. Von Striker's Detention Cell | You see a bare room equipped with only a hard wooden bed with a beaten, flea ridden mattress on top. A picture of Emperor Vodo has unsurprisingly been torn down and ripped to pieces by Striker, it's bits lying scattered across the floor. There is a chalked tally on the walls where Striker has been counting the days of his imprisonment. On the bed sits a dejected human, palpably aware that he is condemned to spend the rest of his life within this cell. |
9110 | a Bathroom | |
9139 | an Empty Cell | You see a battered old bed covered with a smelling mattress, the odour of which you would probably rather not guess. On the walls are scratched various words and tallies of days, or possibly even years, spent in that cell. One of them says: 'Adam Woz 'ere 2002'. Another is situated just above the head of the bed and reads: 'Now weary traveller, please rest your head, for just like me, you're utterly dead' |
9140 | the Interrogation Room | There is a large table set in the middle of the room, with five chairs arranged around it. The room is sparse otherwise and there is nothing else of interest, save the odd coffee marking and dried blood stain on the floor. |
9160 | the Female Garrison Room | There are rows of bunk beds running down either side of the room, with a large storage container in front of each. Most of the beds are neatly made, except for a few that look as though they were recently slept in. There is a table set in the middle of the room, around which a group of female soldiers are drinking and talking loudly. At the far end can be seen grey metal lockers for the soldiers and a door leading off is clearly marked as a shower room. |
9161 | the Women's Shower Room | The room is neatly tiled in a tasteful light pink colour and one of the showers is still running, the hot water steaming up the room. Pools of water collect on the floor, rivulets trickling away down the drain. |
9173 | the Crew Mess Hall | You are in a large, expansive room, filled with dozens of chairs and tables. A security camera is placed in every corner of the room, their mirrored lenses keeping up a constant surveillance over the people eating and talking. Most of the tables were clean, though a few still had discarded trays that the service droids had yet to clear up. A faint yet enticing smell seems to be wafting through the room, emanating from a door which appears to lead to a kitchen. |
9174 | the Ladies' Restroom | You see blue tinted tiles and a full length mirror fixed to one wall, with a long shelf with various applications stored on it. There is a row of nine cubicles along one wall, all immaculately clean, with a sweet smelling scent permeating the air. |
9175 | the Kitchens | The smell is stronger in here, and you see several large cauldrons of bubbling stew on huge cookers, while on a couple of tables there are chopping boards and fresh vegetables, along with cooking pots and a large chopping knife. Cooking utensils hang down from numerous hooks and holders fastened to shelves around the room. You see four people hard at work preparing food, and there seems to be a lot of argument on how best to cook what appears to be 'today's Special'. |
9176 | the Store Room | You see loads of crates and boxes stacked high on shelves, some open but most sealed. There are markings on many of the boxes, some of planet names, others just strange alien symbols. There seems to be a passageway near the back of the store room, leading to another door, from which a cold draught is emanating. |
9177 | the Freezer | You step through the door and immediately a blast of cold air hits you, chilling you to the bone. You see row upon row of frozen meats and freeze dried supplies in boxes and plastic packaging, though nothing of any real interest. |
9359 | the Men's Restroom | You see creamy white tiles, some of which are stained a yellowish colour, the origins of which you dare not guess. There are five cubicles along one wall, with a shelf and a row of small mirrors above it. Along another wall there are five urinals. It is quite clear that this room could not be anything other than the men's toilets. |
9484 | Entertainment Complex Corridor 2 | You are standing in a very large, very wide corridor. The height must be at least four metres from ground to ceiling and about six metres across. This corridor looks as thought it was built to accomodate AT-PT vehicles. |
9485 | the Casino Royale | You are standing in a large, expansive casino with many varied gambling tables and machines lined along the walls and dotted around the room. The place seems busy, with a number of people in here, some laughing and cheering, others weeping at their losses. Barely audible above the hubbub of voices you can hear the rattling of balls, the creak of machinery and the shuffling of cards. It seems that fortunes are won and lost here, though this does not seem to dampen the spirits of those who work and play here. |
9537 | the Residential Complex entrance | This is a wide, expansive corridor, and you can see a blast door (door 8806) leading to Kuraine's quarters at one end, with two Noghri guarding it. There are also other doors leading off. |
9539 | Kyana's Room | You are standing in a stunningly beautiful bedroom. You are immediately aware that this room was tailored for a very special woman, for whom no expense was spared in creating this room. All the walls are dressed in translucent, pink-tinted silk curtains that seemed to flow seamlessly towards the floor. Behind the curtains are small lights set on low brightness that seem to fill the room with a soft, pleasant glow. In the centre of the room is a large double bed, set carefully into the floor. It is covered with soft silken sheets a deep red in colour, with matching velvet pillows of a soft down. The whole bed has been freely sprinkled with red rose petals and beside it, set into the floor, is a Corellian Champagne stand. On it stands an unopened yet stll chilled bottle, and two glasses. Around the room, along the walls, can be seen slight seams and lines flowing in intricate designs and patterns, revealing drawers, wardrobes, storage compartments and a closet if pressed. The little amount of furniture in the room is composed of bean-bag like chairs, tastefully strewn around the room. |
9583 | the Bathroom | You are in a very large, expansive bathroom...at least you thought it was a bathroom. The whole room is designed to play on the senses, the wall's large crystal clear holo devices intent on creating the optical illusion that you are standing on a tropical beach. There is an extremely large hot tub disguised as an ocean, with holos and carefully directed lighting giving the effect that it is a great deal larger than it actually is. The ambient lighting indicates that the sun is setting. Indeed, you can make out the glow of it as it sinks slowly below the horizon. Beneath your feet you can feel warm sand between your toes and real palm trees sway in the soft tropical breeze that filters through the room, carrying the smell of the sea to you as water laps at the sandy beach in front of you. Behind you the door has vanished, subtly camoflaged to appear as part of a jungle, with fronds and vines that trail across the walls. You cannot make out anything technological or metallic anywhere in the entire room. Nor can you tell precisely how big the room is, such is the effectiveness of the room's design, giving the appearance that one could walk into the jungle if they desired, or take a walk down the beach. You can see that this is still practical to a large degree as you are quite sure that the room is huge, since the water stretches out for quite a way and there are live palm trees extending into the distance to both your left and right sides. You can see rocks further out, being soaked as waves crash over them, and there is a slight background noise, simulating the cries of the jungle in the evening.. Only a tiny red light gives away the position of the door in an otherwise perfect tropical sunset. |
9610 | the Atrium | You are standing in the Atrium which has doors leading off to various different rooms in Kuraine's residence. It has been designed with the tasteful elegance and style of the High Alderaanians, with Orowood panellings and marble pillars. Above you can see a patterned glass skylight, with artificial sunlight filtering through directly above the picturesque marble fountain that is set directly in the centre of the room, the water spraying up and twisting over before falling into the pool around it's base. |
9642 | the Botanical Gardens | You step through the door and are greeted by what seems to be a tropical jungle. Vines and tropical palm fronds dangle here and there, with clumps of palm trees and masses of dark green vegetation. Real birds screech and fly through the branches of the trees and perch atop the vines. No sign of anything mechanical could be seen, yet you are sure that at least some of the visual effects in this stunningly beautiful and extremely large room are created by holoprojectors, with no expense of any kind spared in perpetuating the room's realism. A dirt track runs through the jungle, with dense vegetation on either side. You can make out the sun above, shining through the canopy of leaves and fronds above you, giving a sort of greenish twilight effect, with the occasional ray of sunlight breaking through to strike the ground. There is the sound of a waterfall in the distance, though you cannot see it through the thick vegetation. Ahead, you can just make out the tiny red light which indicates the presence of a door, though it looks as through the door must be made of a transparent glass-like material, since you can see straight ahead through it. |
9644 | the Security Room | You see many scanners and sophisticated security equipment for checking for bombs and other dangerous items that people may carry. There are three security guards in the room, checking various pieces of equipment. |
9650 | the Gunnery Crew Barracks | You are standing in a wide corridor, with security cameras and scanner in various places. Two guards are on duty here. (Moderator and player note: Enter these two barracks at your own risk! Both contain 500 NPCs in each. If you don't believe me, go right on in...) |
9749 | the Human Entrance Barracks 1 | This is a very large room that stretches for quite a way. The room is heavily populated and you see that there must be several hundred troops housed in this room alone. |
9779 | the Exotic Entertainment Bar | You are standing in a large room filled with many circular tables and wooden chairs. Along the left side of the room is a large bar serving alcoholic beverages of all sorts, with a grumpy Human bartender passing around drinks to the various clients occupying the room. From the far wall, right up the middle of the room runs a catwalk, with poles at intervals along it, with females of varying species dancing provocatively around and on them. Some females were carrying trays to customers while still others could barely be made out along private booths, entertaining clients privately. |
9780 | Entertainment Complex Corridor 3 | You are standing in a very large, very wide corridor. The height must be at least four metres from ground to ceiling and about six metres across. This corridor looks as thought it was built to accomodate AT-PT vehicles. |
9781 | the Dancers Changing Rooms | You see various full length mirrors along one wall, with numerous wardrobes and closets filled with sequinned dresses and skimpy outfits of all kinds for many different species. A large makeup desk runs along another wall, covered in bottles and ointments of all kinds, with a mirror placed above it. |
9791 | Entertainment Complex Corridor 4 | You are standing in a very large, very wide corridor. The height must be at least four metres from ground to ceiling and about six metres across. This corridor looks as thought it was built to accomodate AT-PT vehicles. |
9792 | the Cantina | You are standing in a largish room filled with many tables, with the strong odour of various alcoholic drinks permeating the general atmosphere of the Cantina. Around the room, partially shrouded in smoke and fog, are groups of humans and aliens talking together. Some look very rough and burly, others sitting quietly, sipping at their drinks. |
9793 | Cantina Rest Rooms | You see creamy white tiles, some of which are stained a yellowish colour, the origins of which you dare not guess. There are six cubicles along one wall, with a shelf and a row of small mirrors above it. Along another wall there are five urinals. It is quite clear that this room could not be anything other than the main Cantina toilets. |

9860 | ||
9862 | ||
9864 | the Central Medical Bay | You are standing in the main medical facilties onboard the station. Around the room you can see banks of diagnostic machines, advanced surgical equipment and medical droids. There are a few doctors around, monitoring several computer systems and terminal readouts. Along one wall are a couple of beds, though none are occupied. |
9978 | Turbolift 2 | You are standing in Turbolift 2. Like all turbolifts on the Libra, this lift can only carry a maximum of four people at any one time. |
9979 | the Bridge Security Room | You step out of the turbolift, only to be greeted by two Noghri guards, their rifles pointed at you unwaveringly. Around you are banks of computers and security monitors, though there are no direct controls to open or close any of the blast doors on the station or around thr Bridge. It looks like this room's sole purpose is for monitoring only. There are three humans around the room, staring at security screens and reading reports. |
9980 | Bridge Access Corridor B | You step through the door and see a large, spacious corridor, with several defensive bulkhead positions towards the middle of the corridor on either side of the walls, designed to protect defending personnel from any hostile forces coming out of the turbolift. Guards are on patrol here and there are security scanners and security cameras in every corner of the room. |
9981 | the Hallway | You are standing in a fairly long hallway, with plush carpets that dull the noise of your footsteps and the walls are draped with fine arts and tapestries. |
9982 | the Swimming Pool | You step into room and see a large swimming pool set in the centre. The water ripples and glitters from the artificial sunlight streaming through the skylight high above and there are tall pillars of white ill'yaen marble stretching up from floor to ceiling, around the edges of the pool. Around the white marble tiled walls of the room are wooden benches and tables for sitting at, with a small bar in the corner for serving drinks to swimmers. |
11060 | the Sauna | You are standing in the sauna. There is a wooden bench that runs all the way round the walls of the relatively small room, and clouds of hot steam billow up from vents in the centre of the floor. |
11061 | the Holosuite Entrance | You step through the door, to be greeted by a pristine, clean white room. There is a row of coat pegs along one wall and a railing on the ooposite will, upon which are hung a number of fresh, clean towels. A door is situated directly ahead, and you can just make out the faint salty smell to the air. |
11062 | the Tropical Beach | You are standing on a very long and beautiful tropical beach. The whole room is designed to play on the senses, the wall's large crystal clear holo devices intent on creating the optical illusion that you are standing on a tropical beach. There is an extremely large body of water that was created to look like an ocean, with holos and carefully directed lighting giving the effect that it is a great deal larger than it actually is. |
10003 | the Main Hallway | You walk through the door and step into a wide hallway, with a tall ceiling that stretched up at least three metres from the floor. From the ceiling hang shimmering chandeliers made from faceted Adegan crystals, with carefully place lights reflecting sparkling rays around the room. Upon the walls hang various paintings and tapestries from around the galaxy, and on a pedestal set in each corner there sat a sculpture, each one entirely different from the others and created by an entirely different species. The floor, you notice, is tiled with wood from the famed conifers of Douglas III. |
10004 | the Library | As you step into the room, your eyes adjust to take in the huge room, it's walls lined with massive bookshelves full with leather bound paper paged books of all kinds. There also seems to be a smaller shelf stacked high with datapads, filled with a great deal of literature and artistic works from across the galaxy, rarely found now since the Galactic Empire destroyed most collections.A small table sits in the centre of the room, flanked by four wooden chairs and archaic chandeliers hang strategically from the ceiling to give the best ambient lighting effects while retaining an ancient feel to the room. |
10033 | the High Command Residential Corridor | You step through the door and are immediately greeted by thesight of two human guards, both looking rather heavily muscled and attentive, each sporting a blaster rifle, with a pistol holstered over the top of their combat armour. |
10037 | the Crew Quarters Area | You are standing in a starkly utilitarian room, empty and unadorned save for the security camera in one corner, it's black lens sweeping ceaselessly across the room, and the three doors leading off. |
10039 | Asarya and Squall's Quarters | You see a security swivel to face you as you enter, and a gun turret slides out of the ceiling, waiting for you to identify yourself via the card reader next to the door you entered by. |
10040 | Asarya's Suite | The door slides open with a 'whoosh', it opens to reveal a somewhat spacious living room. You have just entered the main room of Colonel Asarya's Suite. Against one wall is a comfy-looking couch. There is a holonews screen, opposite, imbedded into the wall. Near to the edge of the table is a tray with a dozen crystal glasses on for refreshments, as well as a poison snooper for testing drinks. |
10785 | the Libra Bridge | You step through the door onto the bridge of the battle station Libra. You see that the bridge is modelled directly after the command deck of an Imperial Star Destroyer, complete with forward observation ports and crew pits on either side of a central walkway. In the centre of the deck is a Star Destroyer Captain's chair, along with a control console to one side. Along the walls are banks of computers, security systems, targeting and fire controls, sensor stations and gunnery coordination consoles. There are human replica droids in all the crew positions on the bridge, dutifully accepting orders and targeting simulated enemy ships and preparing the ship for simulated combat. There is a chair set in the middle of the deck, the only difference to the real thing being the holoprojector set in front of it, a head up display giving tactical readouts and information on the capital ship training simulation. |
10820 | the Simulation Briefing/Debriefing Room | You see rows of single tables and chairs, all facing towards the far end of the room from the door, where a large desk and holoprojectors have been set up. Behind the desk on the wall is a holoboard, with detailed charts and scores on directly linked to the simulators. There are three doors each heading to a holo screen. The sign above the door leading to screen one reads: 'Murder on the Coruscant Express - now playing'. The second reads: 'From Ruuria With Love.' The sign above the third door reads: 'Rebel With A Cause'. |
10858 | Holoscreen 1 | The lights in the room are dimmed right down, or completely turned off, since the movie is currently playing. You can make out the forms of several people, sitting in the comfortable reclining chairs and watching the holofilm. Several well dressed beings are wandering around, admiring the numerous pieces of art. |
10869 | the Starlight Cafe Elevator | Unlike most lifts on the station, this turbolift can carry up to 6 people at any one time. You step into the elevator and it trembles briefly, before rising upwards slowly. There are no walls, though there are rails around each side and a sliding grille at the entrance. You can see nothing but blackness as you look up through the open top of the elevator, as there is no roof either, though you can make out power lines and various other wirings for the elevator, tucked neatly into worn grooves in the walls. Suddenly a hole opens up above, two panels sliding back to slowly reveal starfields as the lift rises up into the centre of the Starlight Cafe. |
10936 | the Starlight Cafe | The lift rises up out of the hole in the floor, and you turn around in a full circle in awe. The whole room is huge, with only a floor immediately apparent. Stars can be seen glittering beyond the now visible transparisteel dome that covers the entire room, sinking down into the floor. There is a small foot high lip that runs around the edges of the room and over it you can make out the rough, grey exterior of the battle station. Beyond that, rising up over the artificial horizon, can be seen the beautiful panoramic view of the planet Ul Yanin, set against the starry backdrop of space. Looking around the room there are at least a hundred wooden tables and chairs, the floor carpeted fully in a rich, deep red colour. In one area there is a raised plinth, on which is playing the Royal Alderaanian Symphony Orchestra, visiting while on tour across the galaxy. Waiters and waitresses are on hand, bringing food and drink up from the lower kitchens through another two smaller elevators set into the floor. |

Ahead, you can just make out the tiny red light which indicates the presence of a door, though it looks as through the door must be made of a greenish material, much like the one you just pushed your way through, since you can see straight ahead through it. |
