A continuation of the Naboo J-type starship series, the Naboo Star Skiff is a piece of artwork that carries a definite indication of the troubled galaxy. A pair of top-mounted heavy laser cannons marks this as the only one of the J-type starships thus far to be armed. It stays true to its Naboo origins with the sculpted design, Chromium hull and dispersed exhaust system so as not to harm the environments it operates in. Unlike its predecessors though, the focus of its design is on making it smaller and faster, boasting a pair of Sossen-7 sublight engines and a superior hyperdrive. This new focus along with subtle indicators like the tarnishing of its glittering hull attest to the urgency of the missions it was designed for, usually potentially dangerous diplomatic work, along with the increasingly turbulent times.
