Nero responds to Anzat Claims

Onboard the YT-1300 AL Rebel Heart in system Republica.

After unjust alligations pointed towards Nero, with little fanfare and no announcement beforehand, said:

"Malakai Brooks has no idea what it means to be a Jedi. Malakai Brooks does not know the difference between what is right and what is wrong. He operates from his own petty wants, as I'm sure most people realize.

"The more intelligent amongst you realize that Brooks has read nothing of my announcement. The less intelligent who would be swayed by the likes of Brooks? I have no time for you.

"We have and will protect the rights and claims of the innocent. If we need to spill the blood of the guilty, we will not falter. Know this, those who may believe I dislike you: If you have done no wrong to innocents, I will do no wrong to you. Nor will any of us.

"If you have done wrong, you cannot hide.

"We dedicate our lives to the innocent, where Sith dedicate their lives to themselves. We protect the innocent, while Sith foster those who would seek to do them harm. In a perfect Galaxy, no one would have reason to fear us. But the Dark Side acts without thought, and those who do fear us only will because they have instilled fear in others."

When asked whether or not he would be adding Brooks to a list of people to take justice on, Reajiad looked taken aback, "He has done nothing to warrant it! He hasn't hurt anyone, so far as I know. There is no reason to fear. I confess, I dislike him... But if that were grounds to treat someone wrongly in our minds, we would indeed, as Brooks said, be no different from the Sith. Justice is far different from revenge. Those who don't realize that, are making a grave error."
