Orion Jenru (pronounced /o-RYE-en GEN-Roo/) is a Corellian (by birth), but due to unknown circumstances his DNA was altered and he appeared to be Codru-Ji. He is the last in the House of Jenru, Zion of the bloodline. He is known for his flare to the ridiculous and being a comedian at the most inopportune times. Although he receives recognition for many things he is mostly know for his role in the First Galactic Civil War as Advisor to Emperor Charon and his role in the Second Galactic Civil War being the executioner of Director Zarlock. He has served as CEO of Veritas Press and also achieved second-in-command of the New Republic's Diplomatic Corp as well as their special battle group Legacy A/TAC Battle Group, amongst countless other positions and ranks with multiple groups over a career that spanned more than two decades. Currently he is retired from the public eye and has been spotted in multiple places throughout the galaxy. It is rumored he has been seen with the Gamorrean ReGor Long-Tusk of Tusk Brothers Trading Company, although that has not been confirmed.

Appearance
Orion is an uncharacteristically larger than normal Codru-Ji. He has attributed his large size to the Corellian upbringing and the various DNA changes over the years. Due to his erratic behavior Orion usually wears flashy clothes, or none at all. He can normally be seen with sunglasses on and smoking ryll of some type. After he retired from the military Orion used the freedom of not having to wear a uniform to his full advantage, wearing everything from suits to fluffy Bantha fur coats.
History
Early Years
Orion was born to an upper-middle class family on Corellia. His father was a prominent officer in the Old Republic Navy and he wished the same for his son, but early in Orion's life his mother passed away. This turn of events caused him to lash out, he was constantly getting in trouble and when he became a teen Orion became involved in street speeder racing. Believing this to be a viable option that could have possibly led to racing pods or speeders legitimately, Orion left home and was involved in the illegal underground racing circuit. For some time he enjoyed notoriety, but that would not last long. One fateful night Orion was involved in a high speed accident on his speeder, fuel leaked into his eyes and caused him to loose his sight, amongst other serious issues. Not letting that deter him, Orion received optical implants and continued racing. He did that for several years until a sting operation, cornered and arrested Orion along with several dozen underground racers. During his sentencing Orion was ordered to be conscripted into the now Imperial Navy. Shortly after he reported to basic training.
Imperial Service
Quickly Orion was assigned to the 33rd recon company on Year 1 day 110.[1] Less than three months later, the now Crewman, was give the position of XO of his company. Due to his extraordinaire service after two months he was then transferred to a group called the Naval Command Fleet (Later renamed the Imperial Command Fleet, or ICF)). This fleet was a group that operated outside the basic naval command structure and worked on issues and problems that did not fall under the everyday operation of the Navy. Orion was originally recruited to this group by General Disc00rd, in this fleet Orion worked along side some well known Imperials such as; Vistate, starreacher, Keefus and Dale Chambers. Orion became friends with the entire fleet and over time he was offered a position as FCO of the fleet stationed in Farfin.[2] Orion gladly accepted and wished his fleetmates farewell and he accepted the FCO spot, he was also promoted to the rank of Commander. Around this time Orion became friends with the sovereign ruler of the Falleen Federation, Eldrik Kuraine. Orion considered himself a confidante and advisor to Kuraine much as he did Emperor Charon.
During the From The Ashes galactic event Orion was ordered by the Emperor himself to orbit Falleen and await orders of dropping a possible planet ending weapon on the surface. Although the order never came Orion stayed for weeks and returned at the conclusion of the event. He then returned home to witness the start of the Second Imperial Civil War. Orion found himself on the side of his mentor and Emperor, J. Charon. Even later in life Orion considered himself an Imperial Idealist and a Charonist to the core. The newly merged Empire was all but a shadow of its former self. The Imperial Core/Dark Empire had successfully 'defeated' the Charonists and loyalists. Orion found himself somewhat disillusioned and was all but absent from the Battle of Beta where his friend, King Kuraine was murdered. Orion found himself on a lengthy LOA, unhappy with what how the Empire was being run. He returned randomly on and off over the next few years but to no avail had lost his flare for his former home. He had found people like General Seele had made themselves all but puppets for the Vodoist regime. Orion then returned as the Third Imperial Civil War was starting. Not sure what was happening Orion went with friends, and joined the New Imperial Order. It was clearly evident after sometime that Orion clearly had left the Empire for the wrong side in the conflict. The NIO was unorganized and filled with power hungry officers for the most part. Orion experienced many things during his tenure there that he didn't want to and was ordered to pick up a defector by the Name of Director Zarlock. After picking up his passenger Orion arrested the Director and planned to take him to a detention center. This would not be the case, Zarlock tried to escape and was attempting to scuttle ship when Orion found him. A fight ensued and Orion's superior CQC abilities won out and he killed Zarlock. Orion returned to the Empire and was given a governorship in his previous home the Farfin sector. This was short lived as he was murdered by none other than Guinar Ndengin while attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to displaced citizens of the NIO's war tactics.[3] Shortly after his death rumors swirled that he had not in fact been killed but badly injured. Roughly one year later Orion returned to the Empire and witnessed the end of the Vodo regime. Over the next decade Orion served in many capacities within the Empire. He was a fleet advisor, FCO, BCO, Intel officer and (the position he is most proud of) for a short period of time he was second in command of II, and then interim II director before Romulus Lupine was named to that position. Orion enjoyed his time in the Empire but always longed for the days of old under Charon. On year 14 Orion finally retired from Imperial service and went to work with his good friend and former Imperial Diplomat, Lord Mustafa at Veritas Press.
Veritas Press
Orion joined several former Imperials at Veritas Press (also known as VP for short), most notably Kiie Cristal and Lord Mustafa. The group was a small tight knit community that supported one another. Using his Imperial contacts Orion helped brokered land for VP on the Corellian planet of Rehemsa. Late in year 15 he started the Military branch of VP, called the Natori Association [4]. Shortly after that Orion was named CEO and Supreme Commander of Veritas and on Year 15, day 226 he was publicly revealed to the universe as such.[5]. After some personnel movements and changes Orion reabsorbed the Natori Association and continued forward. He introduced rank and title structure within VP, not to mention infrastructure that ensured the continued life of VP. Later with Lord Mustafa's keen diplomatic help VP secured a system in the Dantus sector from the command staff at Centrepoint Space Station. After several years Orion discussed stepping down with the group and on year 18 Orion effectively retired and handed the reigns over to Zrosh Echas, a recruit Orion had trained personally.
The New Republic
After leaving VP Orion took a long hiatus, he piloted his ship from one corner of the universe to the next. After several years he decided to return and on a fluke joined the New Republic. What he found was a disorganized and paranoid laced group, afraid to loose power after the Jasper Merlyn incident. He formed a small social group called The Young New Republicans, this group of new comers were future directors, senators, fleet leaders, ect. Many of the 'old guard' saw the new comers as a threat to their established power and several members of New Republic command and their friends had fabricated stories on this group. This led to an unsanctioned investigation by Helix Falks in which nothing was found. Several members of this YNR movement left due to being harassed, one committed suicide, and the others that stayed (including Orion) reached the higher ranks within the NR. After becoming the FXO of the newly formed Legacy Battle group, Orion was also named second-in-command of the Republic Diplomatic Corp. After some months of doing several jobs within the group Orion was becoming more and more weary and tired of serving under leaders which bickered and pitted their officers against one another. He finally decided to leave after nearly two years. He kept in contact with many of his YNR friends and hoped they could change a group to far in its own toxicity, eventually leading to their own downfall when the Empire defeated the New Republic years later.
Trill Imperium and Beyond
Speaking with a friend Vitruvius Bakara about future endeavors Orion made the choice to randomly open a medical faction[6]. With Vitruvius's help he was able to acquire the tools and facilities needed to start a medical faction. Roughly a hundred days later tragedy struck Orion, his brother was killed. He fell into a deep depression and closed the Trill Imperium, renaming it in his brothers honor Cole's Legacy[7], before it closed forever. After dealing with his brothers death he had several small stints in other groups like The Resistance and its even been rumored Black Sun but in the end Orion had seen the last of the galaxy he had wanted to see. He set course for parts unknown and departed. Although there is much conjecture people have claimed to see Orion in retirement on a planet called Mek va Uil, in the Sepan sector.
Legacy
In retirement Orion hoped to leave a message of Imperial Ideals, not from the point of hate but more from the stance of loyalty and comradery. Not as well known in recent memories many people remember him as the Rogue Imperial Captain, the out spoken Republic Diplomat or even the eccentric four-armed entertainer that he fashioned himself into late in his public career.

The Many Faces of Jenru
This article or section is not written in an in character view or uses OOC terminology. You can help the Holocron by rewriting it.
Due to going through Death, Derra Virus, the Metamorphosis Plague, and not to mention several other transformations, Orion had several faces over the twenty years he was in the public eye. Several documented instances are below with signature lines used on personal and official documents. ((OOC: Many of the different graphics used for Jenru over his twenty plus years))
