Talk:Kashyyyk Massacre
Regarding the question of whether this article conforms to NPOV: The Galactic Empire is proud of this event and openly acknowledges it was a massacre. Much like Vodo Bonias' "alien soap factory" in Year 3, this event was partly viewed as a role-playing opportunity to inspire fear and terror of the Empire as a supposedly "evil" faction. For this reason, the Empire broadcast a GNS message publicly bragging about the death toll and the indiscriminate nature of the A/Es. As such, applying NPOV to this article is quite strange as the Empire acknowledged and touted the massacre. It is an example of great role-playing and it seems illogical to retroactively alter the event to present a more bland, neutral description. The only controversy that existed was the OOC debate about whether new players were arrested/executed by the Imperial dragnet and if this turned them off from playing the game. -- Rupert Havok 23:36, 14 January 2012 (GMT)
