The Obsydian Spectre is a Firespray-class Interceptor with a deep history. The ship has seen a few owners and multiple different uses. Most involving illegal activities.

Origin

Before it was known as The Obsydian Spectre, it was known simply as it's ID number, 229848. It was manufactured by an unknown manufacturer in Year 12 in Day 227. It was rumored to have been constructed for use in a military organisation as a patrol ship. It was given it's original color scheme of greens and tans. It was a well constructed ship and was to be shipped off to the military organisation within seven days of manufacturing completion. After it was constructed, it wasput aboard a Modular Taskforce Cruiser along with other ships to be transported to the buyer. Shortly after this ship was put on the MTC, it left to deliver all the new ships.

Capture

The MTC never made it to the destination, however. Shortly after it departed, several ships attacked the ship. These pirates had knew the cargo the ship was holding and desperately wanted it. Thegoal of these ruthless pirates was not to destroy to ship, but disable it, board it, kill the crew, and take all of its cargo. The pirates were successful in this effort. They killed the crew of around 250 after disabling all the systems that would allow the ship to fight back, move, and protect itself. They stole everything on the ship and took off to a far location in the galaxy.

New Use

Out of all the ships they stole, the leader of the pirates took a liking to this particular ship. So much so that he had it painted into it's current colors of black, grey, and red which he found suited the ship better and made it menacing. He then renamed 229848 to Firespray for lack of a better name. He used this ship for his personal use which included numerous illegal activities. It has been used for a multitude of crimes including kidnapping, thievery, and smuggling. Even a few deaths are rumored to have occurred on the ship. After around six years of owning his beloved ship, he was killed during a raid on his hideout. He fought back, killing some of the personnel attacking him, but lost in the end and his life was ended. They seized the ship and it was sold off to Uje Jek.

New Owner

Uje Jek didn't keep the ship long before trying to auction it off, presumably unaware of its past. Interested in the ship, Aeron Creel contacted him to talk about it. They shortly agreed on a deal in which resulted in Aeron trading a Simiyiar-class Light Freighter for it in Year 18 on Day 315. Aeron soon learned of the past of the ship and its previous owner. He found the ship was better than he had original thought. The only thing he changed was the name and use. He renamed Firespray to The Obsydian Spectre on the same day he got it which he found matched its paint and its past. It is now just used for transportation and personal use by Aeron.
