The Scholars Guild is an independent home to academic and scholarly pursuits, founded in Year 13 by Rennek Cor. Aside from hosting its own growing library, the guild houses discussion rooms and lectures by sentients across the galaxy covering a vast array of subjects. The Guild is free to join, members being ranked within the guild based on contribution and attendance and allows those creative and academic minds to truly be exercised.

Academic Funding
Aside from the free use of guild resources, members are encouraged to contribute scholarly works. Although the sharing of this information is a reward in itself, there is an academic funding program which seeks to fund studies, reports, or writings which will be of benefit to both the guild and its members. Funding can be requested as appropriate.
The Guild Halls
Rooms currently open for use include Philosophy, Religion, Language, History, Culture, Art and Music, as well as the Library. Should needs expand over time, further rooms can be provided upon request.
The Library
This is the only room restricted to members signed up to the guild forum. It contains a number of original writings and reference books for use in academic pursuits, or indeed for leisure reading. These range from Philosophy books such as The Balance, to dictionaries, ethnographies, to journals of historical figures.
Accreditation
The Scholars Guild offers accreditation in the form of Scholars Guild Diplomas and Degrees. There are currently three levels of accreditation: the general diploma, a specialized diploma, and a specialized master's degree. These are awarded to scholar's based on their submissions of studies, projects, papers, or books. Five in any field merits a general diploma; five in any one subject area merits a specialized diploma; and ten submissions in any one field earn one a master's degree in that field. Specialized degrees have also been awarded to member scholars whose work showed them to be outstanding in their field of study.
Charitable Donations and Endorsements
As a not-for-profit organisation, The Scholars Guild greatly appreciates donations to the cause and pursuit of further scholarly works. Also greatly appreciated are endorsements and support from individuals and companies.
