CR-92R Battle Corvette

The CR-92R is like most popular corvettes a product of the Corellian shipyards, famed for their fast and versatile ships. The 92R is the product of years of research and development on the famed blockade runner models of corvette. The battle Corvette features additional turbolasers so that it can easily engage and destroy enemy corvettes while sustaining little damage to itself. An increased amount of heavy lasers also improve the deadliness of the 92R against fighters. The biggest improvement is to the sensor relays. With the largest sensor range compared to almost any ship smaller than a Pulsar cruiser the 92R can see anyone before they even reach standard sensor range and see it. This makes it an essential border patrol craft as it can comfortably chase and destroy most enemies before they are out of weapons range. The corvette also boasts increased engines that give it faster speed than an X-wing, meaning that fighter should steer clear of this ship as well. Boasting hundreds of improvements it is the widely acclaimed super-corvette that outguns and outraces any other from any group. Sadly these improvements have caused a great increase in price and as a consequence most factions prefer to use standard corvettes instead.
