Impa Xio is a relatively young male Anzati of 232 years of age. Former leader of the Ellipsis mercenaries and Director of Production for LBX Holdings, he now oversees operations for The Exchange mercenaries. Impa's primary focus and source of income is as an artist, best known for his multitude of custom starship and power armor designs.

Biography

Youth and Early Adulthood

Impa Xio was born on a backwater planet in the Outer Rim and raised among the stars. Childhood consumed by the ancestral trade, he learned to live and feed off of the "Soup" or "Luck" of sentient life forms. Guided by his parents, Impa never called any one place home for long. While most other species have tendencies toward parental bonding; typical Anzati families are bound by pragmatism and propagation of the species. Delightedly, Impa would eventually split from his parents to feed on his own. Current whereabouts of his parents are unknown but it can be assumed that they are either dead, feral, or still feeding.

The best fed Anzati usually take up a craft to facilitate the collection of meals; some choose to be bounty hunters, others assassins, but Impa learned to attract prey through his natural penchant for art and culture. Wherever credits were in excess his skills were well paid for and potent meals practically came knocking. Being identified as an Anzati and marked for hunting was always a clear and present danger, but so long as his meals were planned he'd always have time to pack up and leave.

Transition Period

Though largely content with his arrangements in life, Impa could never shake the impression his parents left on him. They pursued meals with such lust and abandon... Impa feared a similar fate awaited him. To him, it seemed and unsustainable path and he could already feel his lust for "Soup" growing. What was the point? Why feed to feed when all that awaits is madness? Nearly two hundred years had past now and nothing cumulative could be shown for it. His parents used to liken other species to cattle, but to Impa they were delusional. How can cattle organize and command empires that span the galaxy while the ancient Anzati have little to show for their time - reduced to space faring boogeymen. There had to be another option.

Enthralled by accounts of Anzati Jedi that abstained from feeding, Impa researched their origins as he traveled. In the mean time he'd temper his needs through the maxim "you are what you eat". Often Impa would abstain completely, though lethargy and hunger were usually the only results. He'd turn to his art during times like this, growing more appreciative of the galaxy around him and less concerned with the primal drive for "Soup". Eventually this shift in focus would lead him to associating with The Exchange mercenaries and entering the galactic art scene publicly.
