Impa Xio is a relatively young male Anzati of 232 years of age. Former leader of the Ellipsis mercenaries and Director of Production for LBX Holdings, he now oversees operations as Compeer of The Exchange. Impa's primary source of income has been as an artist, best known for his multitude of custom starship and power armor designs.

Biography

Youth and Early Adulthood

Impa Xio was born on a forgotten planet in the Outer Rim and raised among the stars. Born to a traditional Anzati family unit, he learned to live and feed off of the "Soup" or "Luck" of sentient life forms. Mentored by his parents, Impa never called any one place home for long. While most other species have tendencies toward parental bonding; typical Anzati families are bound by a predatory focus on consumption and propagation of the species. When of age Impa split from his parents to feed on his own. True to form, Impa has no knowledge of his parents whereabouts or current status.

Anzati on their own usually learn a craft to facilitate the collection of meals; some train in military arts and offer services as assassins, others take up bounty hunting; their long lives provided ample time to master a craft. Impa discovered a natural penchant for art early on in life and has exploited it for meals for as long as he can remember. Wherever credits were in excess so to were artists. Meals practically came knocking once he'd established himself in a local art scene. He wasn't averse to traditional methods, but there was something infinitely appealing about attractive women and easy meals.

Transition Period

Something was lacking in life and Impa could sense it. Everything felt so temporary and his works meant nothing after the feeding was through. Other sentients conquer and control while the ancient Anzati had nothing to show for their time. Anzati often view themselves as apex predators, but Impa found himself a stone's throw away from a gluttonous boogeyman. Maybe the daily involvement in local cultures central to his methods expanded his worldview, but he lacked the hallmark lust for soup typical of his race. More an more Impa grew interested in the nature of the Anzati. How could a genetically superior species succumb to base gluttony?

The transition wasn't overnight, but soon enough Impa sought to integrate into galactic society rather than feed off its fringes. Meals were made sparse as he sought to discipline his appetite. Individuals were consumed over time rather than overnight. Eventually, he grounded himself in the Woldona sector and found work with The Exchange.
