In the earliest days when the Hutts expanded their criminal empires they had targetted the [[Twi`lek]] people in order to lay claim to the riches that [[Ryloth]] had to offer, more specifically [[Ryll]]. For every aggressor and wannabe conqueror the people of [[Ryloth]] vanquished another popped up its ugly head to take its place. One of these so-called conquerors were a band of [[Chevin]] named [[The Unsavory Horde]]. Once they had landed near the city of Nabat the war insued between the Horde and the Ziveri clan was one that lasted for years with neither side winning any ground except losing tremendous amounts of life on both sides. As the conflict reached new heights the five clanheads of the Ziveri clan met with the leader of the Unsavory Horde. A deal was struck. The [[Chevin]] would cease their hostilities, even defend the clan and were willing to transport their [[Ryll]] offworld provided that the [[Twi`leks]] would mine it. But then they demanded something else, something that wasn't negotiable. If they would like to see the dawning of another day they would be forced to hand over some, not all, of their firstborn daughters to live out their natural lives as slaves for the Horde.

The Lethan twins where Roovan would follow his father's footsteps and join the Sesk'bumat (political caste) eventually being prepared to lead his clan. His twinsister Tann was groomed by her mother to follow her example and join the Sesk'mahvus (priestess caste) to become a Kisa of Kika'lekki (Mother Goddess). However, besides these castes they would have to to be teached in the ways of the Sesk'osima as well. Finally the youngest of the children, Chee, would be trained in the ways of war in the Sesk'vati (warrior caste). Besides these individual castes the three children would share another caste, the Sesk'osima (artist caste) where each would walk a different path.

In the earliest days when the Hutts expanded their criminal empires they had targetted the Twi`lek people in order to lay claim to the riches that Ryloth had to offer, more specifically Ryll. For every aggressor and wannabe conqueror the people of Ryloth vanquished another popped up its ugly head to take its place. But then they demanded something else, something that wasn't negotiable. If they would like to see the dawning of another day they would be forced to hand over some, not all, of their firstborn daughters to live out their natural lives as slaves for the Horde. Years had passed since the deal had been struck that caused the Twi`leks and Chevin to live in "peace". Granted there were slight skirmishes over time, but no full-fledged battles took place since the deal.
